Rather, it was naturally because of the person he was with. Not because of the excitement, but just because everything was really good. Really, what to do. Unable to do anything about his elated affection, he rubbed his cheek against that shoulder, then gave small kisses again as Alexander placed his hand on his stomach.
“Did it hurt this time too?”
This time he seemed to have listened as well as possible, but it was true that he had pushed in a bit more, overcome by excitement. He was worried it might hurt again. When he gently rubbed that stomach with its nicely defined muscles, Alexander looked at Kalix with a gaze where the afterglow still hadn’t left.
“A little. But it was okay.”
At the voice that was low and husky yet cracked slightly at the end, light goosebumps rose. His voice was too erotic and nice too. Receiving that quietly watching gaze made him a bit shy and excited, so when he gently closed his eyes, lips immediately touched.
When he carefully opened his eyes, Alexander with his eyes closed and face softly relaxed came into view. Kalix closed his eyes again and obediently accepted that tongue slowly touching inside his mouth. Alexander was always affectionate and gentle.
“You know, Sasha.”
When he slightly tangled their legs again, Alexander made a short, light sound and gave small kisses from Kalix’s nose tip to his ear.
“Mm.”
At the languid voice, Kalix tangled their legs even deeper.
“I think this time I can make it not hurt at all.”
“Mm.”
Their gazes met, and the answer was swallowed between pulling close and kissing.

Kalix kissed Alexander’s mottled back. Along his spine and back muscles were marks where Kalix had bitten and sucked. On his connected waist and thighs were more handprints. Some even had bruises from not controlling his strength properly.
“Are you awake?”
Kalix obediently nestled in Alexander’s arms as he turned on his side and hugged Kalix tightly even while still mostly asleep. Alexander placed his chin on top of Kalix’s head and seemed to fall asleep again, as peaceful heartbeats could be felt from their touching chests.
For various reasons they had been almost celibate until then, and moreover with the semester over and no need to worry about tomorrow, that day finally ended only after the lubricant ran out. If it was hard, they would just rub together, with hands, with mouths, as if just touching each other in any way was enough, so they truly lost track of time.
Moreover, now it really was just the two of them. It was vacation, and there was nowhere to escape in the narrow room. Not that he wanted to escape anyway. Just being together with nothing particular to do, their eyes would naturally meet. Then naturally hands would reach out, and then they would touch a bit more, and buttons would come undone, and it would happen like that.
That was their daily life these days. Making sure to prepare lubricant so it wouldn’t run out in the middle, and not really leaving the room. When they occasionally did leave, they always held hands and never left Alexander’s side. Each day was so fulfilling that he wished vacation would never end.
But everything was bound to end. Especially winter break wasn’t as long as summer break, so probably they couldn’t always spend their days like this. Kalix quietly listened to Alexander’s heartbeat. How was even Alexander’s heartbeat nice to listen to? It was regular and stable, just like him. His touching body was warmer than usual because he was sleeping.
“Kids usually sleep a lot.”
Whether he was gradually waking up, at the sleepy voice that came while stroking Kalix’s hair, Kalix raised his head and kissed Alexander’s chin.
“When I’m with you, Sasha, I don’t need to sleep.”
“You should sleep though.”
“When I’m with you, I’m full even without eating, and not tired even without sleeping.”
At those words, Alexander smiled and gently rubbed around Kalix’s eyes.
“Sasha, do you remember what you said before?”
“I remember everything about being with you.”
At the voice where drowsiness had lifted and the gaze looking at him, Kalix quietly looked at that face. The affectionate atmosphere and gently touching hand.
“When I get better, and when I have somewhere I want to go,”
Time flows, but how long would Kalix be able to have this warmth? He’d been thinking that continuously lately.
“And if I can go with you, then you told me to tell you.”
Perhaps Alexander was thinking the same thing too. That’s why he chose to stay with Kalix throughout this vacation. Would they be able to spend another vacation together?
“Yeah.”
Kalix had never left the Academy grounds with Alexander. Though they had visited each other’s territories, even that was limited to a passive scope. Wherever they went, it seemed like something would happen. But now it was okay. Whatever happened, Alexander would be by his side anyway.
“Want to go to a hotel?”
At those words, Alexander looked at Kalix without saying anything for a moment, as if thinking about what he meant.
“Wow.”
Alexander, who eventually made a short sound, then answered:
“Okay.”
Kalix quietly held Alexander. Time was flowing. If things ended like this, what could Kalix leave for Alexander? If it really ended like this, then shouldn’t I get to know you a little more? Shouldn’t I try doing a little more with you?
* * *
It wasn’t necessarily just about hotels. He just wanted to date outside. Until now, Kalix had been afraid of what might happen outside, and Alexander never demanded anything from such a Kalix. But now he wanted to do more things with Alexander.
This might be the last time. It might be the last time, or it might not be the last time, but anyway, once the semester started, it would be hard to enjoy such leisurely days. So even during vacation, he wanted to leisurely stroll the streets with Alexander.
Even after coming outside the Academy with Alexander, Kalix looked around quite unfamiliarly. Though they were all places he knew, being with Alexander made them feel strangely unfamiliar.
“Is there somewhere you want to go?”
At that question, Kalix realized he was unconsciously gripping the sleeve of Alexander’s coat from nervousness about being outside, and awkwardly let go. Today he wanted to look somewhat cool. He should be dignified.
“Where did you go when you went outside?”
“Bars.”
At the answer that came without much thought, Kalix replied firmly:
“It’s daytime now.”
Kalix subtly continued asking:
“Where did you go when you were dating?”
What kinds of things did Alexander originally like? Being in limited places, even though they were always together in their own way, it seemed like there was a lot he didn’t know. Actually, Alexander didn’t seem particularly active except for exercising. Alexander didn’t like crowded places and preferred quiet spots.
“I can’t say.”
Why can’t he say?
“I won’t be jealous.”
Wasn’t it okay to tell him if he was confident? If he didn’t think about it now and wouldn’t remember Skylar even if he went there, wouldn’t it be fine? Or did that saying about spaces holding memories apply to Alexander too? Then shouldn’t he take Kalix there more? Why leave someone else’s memories there?
“Right. Of course I believe you.”
He didn’t look like he believed it at all. Still, Kalix always wanted to be gentle with Alexander, and especially today, so he just kept his mouth shut. He didn’t want to complain either. Kalix just grabbed Alexander’s sleeve again.
“Sasha, tell me about yourself.”
“About me?”
“Yeah.”
At those words, Alexander looked at his sleeve that Kalix was holding. Did he dislike it? It shouldn’t be something he disliked. Alexander had never once disliked Kalix touching him. Though there weren’t people around, was it still a bit awkward outside?
Even while thinking that, when he didn’t let go of the sleeve, Alexander took Kalix’s hand and put it in his pocket together.
“What’s there to say about me? As you know, when I was young I lived abroad with my mother, then came back and lived on this side ever since. Then when I came of age, I entered the Academy.”
“Then what about your relatives? That person, you know. The one I saw during summer vacation.”
Magnolia. He naturally remembered the name, but didn’t want to say it for some reason.
“Noa?”
They had seemed particularly close. Alexander was careful and caring with Jasper despite him being his younger brother, but with Magnolia he seemed even more casually comfortable.
“Are you close?”
So that’s why there was even talk of engagement? At the time, Kalix had just brushed off Alexander’s words about them not being anything special, but thinking it over continuously, there were more than a few things that bothered him. Marriage between relatives was extremely common. Moreover, Jasper also knew her as his fiancée, and Alexander had said marriage talks always came up. Then Alexander must have thought about it too, right? Marrying that person. That cute blonde person.
“I told you I lived abroad when I was young, right? In my mother’s homeland.”
“Yeah.”
“We grew up together there. I’ve seen her since she was in my great aunt’s womb, so we’re almost like real siblings.”
“Then she’s a princess.”
It was shocking. When they had talked about family once, Alexander’s great aunt was the queen of that country. He was really supposed to marry a neighboring country’s princess? That was ridiculous. Did this happen because Kalix had said something wrong before? If he went back to the past, he would never again tell Alexander to marry a neighboring country’s princess.
