“Thank you for your hard work, everyone. I sincerely hope you all achieved the results you wanted.”
At the proctor’s words, Eunsol let out the breath he had been holding back. When he rubbed his palms against his pants, they were soaked with cold sweat.
Fortunately, he had solved all the problems and properly filled in the answer sheet within the time limit. He had even checked twice, so the possibility of marking answers in the wrong spots was extremely low.
“Ugh…”
“Hey, why are you crying?”
“I failed… I was confused about more than five problems… My mom said I absolutely can’t take a gap year…”
The exam hall was chaotic after the proctors left. Only a few faces bore relieved smiles.
Most of the test-takers were slumped over their desks, sobbing pitifully. Eunsol nervously fiddled with his exam ticket where he had written his answers.
Having concentrated in a tense state for so long, his entire body ached as if he had a severe case of body aches.
Eunsol turned on his phone that he had gotten back from the proctor. The time it took to boot up, with the fruit logo appearing, felt longer than usual.

As soon as the power came on, message notifications that had arrived while the phone was off kept popping up on the screen.
[New child, don’t be nervous and do well. Whatever the result, you did your best, and that’s what matters.]
[Eunsol, good luck on the exam!]

A smile formed on Eunsol’s lips at the encouraging messages sent by his precious people.
[I’ll wait for you at the main gate.]
After seeing the last message, he abruptly stood up. The sound of the chair scraping drew the attention of those still in the classroom.
Eunsol hurriedly put on his coat, roughly slung his bag over his shoulder, and headed for the school gate.
“Hyun-oh!”
Even from a distance, Hyun-oh was instantly recognizable. His broad shoulders in the black coat made people passing by him appear relatively narrow-shouldered in comparison.

As Hyun-oh turned around at Eunsol’s voice, Eunsol’s eyes widened.
Hyun-oh’s chest was protruding in a round shape. As Eunsol rushed toward him, Hyun-oh’s brows furrowed.
Snow had fallen until the morning, leaving the ground completely covered. As if things weren’t bad enough, the college entrance exam day coincided with a record cold snap, making the roads slippery.
Seeing Eunsol’s precarious steps that made it seem like he might fall, Hyun-oh hurriedly approached him.
“Did Raon come too?”
“Yes. You’ll get hurt running like that.”
Fortunately, Eunsol reached Hyun-oh without falling. Ignoring Hyun-oh’s concerned gaze, Eunsol carefully pulled down the blanket covering Raon.
“Aboo, booooo!”
Clutching a snow-white rabbit doll in his arms, Raon smiled brightly at Eunsol. The way he stretched out his gloved hands, gesturing for Eunsol to hold him, was desperate.
“He cried continuously after you left.”
“…Our Raon, did you cry because you missed daddy? Your eyes are so red.”
Eunsol’s face fell. Raon wasn’t usually one to cry much, but it seemed he had cried a lot today while looking for Eunsol.
The baby’s delicate eyes were completely reddened. Judging by the tear drop still hanging at the corner of his eye, he must have been crying right up until just now.
“Uuunn…”
When Eunsol didn’t pick him up, Raon’s lips began to quiver. Hyun-oh hurriedly wrapped Raon in the blanket and patted the child’s back.
“Shall we go to the car first?”
The weather was cold. Raon had cried so much that Hyun-oh had put on a baby carrier and held him.
Only then did Eunsol make eye contact with Hyun-oh and take his outstretched hand.
“Your hands are cold. Have you been waiting long?”
“Not long.”
A lie.
Raon was heavily armed with a padded jacket, hood, scarf, and gloves, and on top of that, covered with a thick blanket.
In contrast, Hyun-oh had only a coat over his suit. Although it was a winter coat and somewhat thick, in this weather, standing for just 10 minutes would make one’s body tremble.
Concerned, Eunsol took Hyun-oh’s hand with both of his and lifted it up. He blew warm breath onto it to thaw the cold, which softened Hyun-oh’s expression.
Fortunately, Raon didn’t burst into tears until they got to the car. Eunsol got in the car first, and Hyun-oh unfastened the baby carrier and handed Raon to him.
He held Raon in his arms and kissed his chubby cheeks. As if he had never been about to cry, Raon smiled brightly and caressed Eunsol’s cheeks with his palms.
“Should we sit in the chair? Our Raon?”
“Baa, ba…!”
After safely seating Raon in the baby seat installed in the back, Eunsol stroked his cheek, and Raon vigorously shook the rabbit doll in his hand.
“You brought Toto too? I should have come out earlier.”
Hyun-oh got into the driver’s seat. While Kim Myungjun had driven him here, Hyun-oh had sent him back while waiting for Eunsol.
This was because they were planning to go straight home anyway.
Hyun-oh smoothly shifted gears while watching through the rearview mirror as Eunsol made eye contact and talked with Raon even after fastening his seatbelt.

After kissing the forehead of the child, who was breathing deeply in his sleep, Eunsol rose on his tiptoes and left the room.
Today was a day when both sitters were on vacation, so only Eunsol, Raon, and Hyun-oh were in the spacious house.
Only after taking out his tablet PC and confirming that the baby cam was working properly did Eunsol head to the living room.
In the living room, which offered a panoramic view of the night scenery, Hyun-oh was opening a bottle of wine with a corkscrew.
When Eunsol sat down next to Hyun-oh, he briefly set the opened wine bottle on the table and turned toward Eunsol.
“You worked hard today.”
Knowing how hard Eunsol had been studying for the college entrance exam, Hyun-oh’s voice was solemn.
Eunsol gently leaned his head against the palm caressing his cheek. As he inhaled Hyun-oh’s pheromones, he felt the tension in his body, which had been there all day, gradually release.
“After checking my answers, I think I can get into the university I want.”
He had compared his answers, which he had written on the back of his admission ticket, with the answer key.
Though it might not be the university considered the best in South Korea, his score was sufficient to apply to a Seoul university that everyone would recognize by name.
“I believed you would do well.”
Hyun-oh quietly bent his head and rubbed his nose tip against Eunsol’s. At the ticklish sensation, Eunsol opened his eyes, and the moment he met Hyun-oh’s gaze, he burst into clear laughter.
Unable to resist the impulse, Eunsol pressed his lips to Hyun-oh’s. Hot breath immediately crossed over their connected lips.
“Haa…”
Along the tips of their rubbing tongues, both their pheromones sweetly bloomed.
As they licked each other’s lips with their tongue tips, tasted each other’s mouths, and caressed the body lines revealed over their clothes, Eunsol’s shoulders suddenly jumped.
At the suddenly dense omega pheromones, Hyun-oh also pulled his head back as if gauging the situation.
“Eunsol.”

Clearly, until they first kissed, everything had been normal.
