Chapter 129
It wasn’t an ordinary building. It looked like something being held at a temple. Eunseong saw a Buddhist temple. It was quite a large temple. Yoo Siwoon’s car was parked in one section of the parking lot, and many vehicles were already parked around it.
“Why are there so many cars?”
“…There’s an important ceremony today. A day when everyone involved gathers. You can think of it as an annual event that happens once a year.”
It was the day of the human sacrifice ceremony. They cut open the abdomen of the chosen sacrifice and sprinkle blood. It was a ceremony where they prayed for their god to appear through a massive gap somewhere unknown and the new path that he would create—though in reality, it was a public execution of those who challenged their authority.
“I’m a bit nervous. Do I look okay? I don’t look like I just woke up, right?”
Eunseong touched his face and hair here and there, worried that his hair might be sticking up. Yoo Siwoon reached out and smoothed down a few strands that were indeed sticking out untidily.
“You’re fine. You’re pretty.”
“…When you call me pretty, it makes my body feel strangely tingly.”
“I thought you were pretty. From the first time I saw you.”
“…”
“Even though I knew it wasn’t right to think of you as pretty… I couldn’t stop thinking it.”
“…”
Yoo Siwoon spoke with regret, as if he had tried everything to shake off those thoughts. He was a man who had even beaten his own genitals trying to stay away from Eunseong. All those efforts had been in vain, and eventually they had come to this point.
To become the very thing he had tried so desperately to avoid, to eliminate.
“I still feel the same way.”
“…”
His thumb habitually caressed Eunseong’s cheek. He had put his phone on silent after it had been vibrating for a while. Director Nam would be looking for him. He would have discovered that Eunseong and Yoo Siwoon were missing and checked with the security staff. Director Nam would now know they had left together in a car early in the morning, that Yoo Siwoon had taken Eunseong away.
As Eunseong stared back at Yoo Siwoon’s eyes fixed on him, his upper body crossed over to the passenger side. Yoo Siwoon kissed him directly. It was a soft but sticky and intense contact.
“Mmm… hmph.”
They had come to greet the family elders. As Eunseong tried to free himself from his arms and sit up straight, a strong force gripped him tightly. What followed was a desperate, burning intrusion. Unable to push Yoo Siwoon away, Eunseong was held like a bundle of straw. Remembering they were in a parking lot, Eunseong tried not to continue kissing, but Yoo Siwoon forcibly parted his lips. Soon, something hot and soft entered, stirring inside his mouth.
Eunseong slapped his arms to stop, but it was futile.
The sensitive nerves being frantically sucked made him gradually forget that they were in a car, that there were many other cars around, and that someone might be watching them.
“Mm, mmm, mmng…”
Pushed by him, Eunseong’s body sank deep into the backrest. Yoo Siwoon’s arms embraced his back tightly. As his head twisted, the contact surface deepened. It was such an intense kiss that it felt like they were doing something beyond merely kissing.
They shouldn’t be doing this here, someone might see, someone might notice their suspicious movements in the car… While faintly worrying with one corner of his consciousness, Eunseong responded by wrapping his arms around Yoo Siwoon’s neck and hanging on to kiss him.
With sticky, wet sounds, they wound their tongues around each other and sucked repeatedly. The lewd sounds seemed especially loud inside the car, making Eunseong’s face turn bright red and his earlobes heat up. The strength of the arms that had been holding him tight enough to suffocate loosened after a while, slowly releasing him.
Their wet lips separated with a moist sound.
“Haah… if I asked to do it here… you wouldn’t, right?”
Yoo Siwoon asked, staring vacantly at Eunseong from close range.
“What? Haah, haah, are you crazy?”
“Yeah…”
“I’m not that, not that crazy.”
“Really?”
“…Yes, I’m not that brazen.”
Usually, it was Eunseong who went crazy, not him, but Yoo Siwoon was half out of his mind, asking while half hoping it would actually happen. Though Eunseong enjoyed being with him like this, it didn’t remove the pressure or tension of having to meet the family elders after coming all this way.
“That’s a shame.”
Yoo Siwoon smiled slightly, gave Eunseong’s waist one tight squeeze, and then released him. He wiped Eunseong’s wet lips with his hand and smoothed his disheveled hair. He also adjusted his crooked shirt to make him look presentable to the elders. Eunseong also smoothed down his sticking-up hair and rubbed his flushed cheeks with the back of his hand to cool them.
“It’s okay. Your face isn’t red.”
“No, it’s not okay.”
“It’s fine. My scent is all over you now.”
“…”
It sounded like he was reassured because he had marked him with his bodily fluids like some animal. While Eunseong looked at him curiously, Yoo Siwoon fixed his clothes and got out of the car.
Yoo Siwoon walked around the hood and opened the passenger door for him. Feeling awkward at his formal treatment, Eunseong got out of the car. He took a scarf from the back seat and wrapped it around Eunseong’s face until only his eyes were visible.
“We’re going to greet the elders, and you want me to cover up like this?”
“I thought you might be cold.”
“…I’m not cold.”
“You might get cold.”
Eunseong just let him do as he pleased. It didn’t seem to be about the cold, but rather a directive to cover his face no matter what. The moment Eunseong slightly lowered the scarf to his nose tip because it was hard to breathe, Yoo Siwoon immediately pulled it back up.
“Why don’t you just give me a mask instead?”
“I forgot about that.”
He muttered regretfully. Yoo Siwoon seemed more nervous than Eunseong.
Yoo Siwoon held Eunseong’s hand. With only his eyes showing above the scarf, busily looking around, Eunseong followed where Yoo Siwoon led.
Wondering what event could have gathered so many cars, Eunseong belatedly realized they were deep in the mountains and curiously examined the appearance of the family he supposedly belonged to, the family his father had abandoned.
With each step toward the Golden Hall, the grip on Eunseong’s hand became more forceful. Eunseong turned his eyes to Yoo Siwoon’s back, who was becoming tense. His palm was sweaty and sticky. It seemed like the first time seeing him this nervous.
They encountered people on their way to the temple. Several bowed slightly to Yoo Siwoon, and he returned the greeting with a simple nod.
The strange thing was that no one spoke to each other, and it was so quiet that only the sounds of hurried footsteps could be heard in unison; no conversations whatsoever came from the surroundings. The atmosphere itself was peculiar.
They greeted Yoo Siwoon with a glance while simultaneously giving Eunseong a quick look. They didn’t pay much attention to Eunseong but were interested in Yoo Siwoon holding his hand.
“What, what… what, this fucking, you Yoo Siwoon, you bastard…!”
At that moment, someone spotted the two of them and, nearly fainting with shock, pointed at Eunseong. His astonished voice and cursing at Yoo Siwoon was the first human sound Eunseong had heard after passing dozens of people in this place.
The man’s finger pointing at Eunseong was trembling, and he stared at Eunseong, who only had his eyes exposed, with burning eyes as if piercing him with an iron skewer.
“You… you, you are, you… You are, you, aah…”
Eunseong inadvertently bowed in greeting when his eyes met with the man who had cursed at Yoo Siwoon. The man’s pupils dilated, and he was even panting. Though they were several steps apart, Eunseong had the illusion that the man gave off the same scent as Yoo Siwoon. As Eunseong looked at the man with puzzled eyes, Yoo Siwoon roughly pushed the man’s shoulder.
Eunseong’s eyes widened in surprise at Yoo Siwoon’s rude behavior.
“Ugh!”
Yoo Oseon fell to the ground from the force. Yoo Siwoon pretended not to see him and grabbed Eunseong’s wrist, walking quickly.
He passed those who were finding their seats waiting for the ceremony and approached Chairman Yoo and the apostle of the council of elders who were preparing incense at the front of the altar.
The apostle with white hair spotted Yoo Siwoon approaching the altar and gestured for him to stop. He was the head of the council of elders. Everyone gathered here knew that no one should approach this far. Moreover, even Chairman Yoo looked at him with puzzled eyes since it was Yoo Siwoon.
The apostle made a rough gesture to step back, to come no closer. There was no sound. Just a firm hand motion. When Yoo Siwoon didn’t stop walking, the apostle had no choice but to speak. His deep voice scolded him sternly.
“Don’t you know you shouldn’t come up to the altar? What are you doing, bringing impurity? Step back immediately.”
“Wait here for a moment.”
Yoo Siwoon left Eunseong standing not far from the altar and walked toward them. Left alone, Eunseong awkwardly watched his retreating back.
Yoo Siwoon walked up to the altar and bowed deeply to the apostle and Chairman Yoo.
“Are you insane? What makes you think you can approach this place?”
“I have something to tell you.”
