Ji Se-min was bewildered. What the hell is this…?

He’d definitely been on a date. They’d gone out, spent a sweet, newlywed-like day together, and then… they’d come up to a hotel room. Suddenly Hyung was attacked—and then there were two of him. Even as he traced the sequence of events back, Se-min’s pupils trembled; he still couldn’t put his finger on what was wrong.

The Hyung holding him turned to follow Se-min’s gaze. Only then—like he’d finally seen the suddenly appeared Cha-hyeon—did a brief standoff flare between the two identical men.

“……”

“……”

There really were two Cha-hyeon hyungs.

Blank-faced, Se-min looked between them. He glanced once at the Hyung he’d been with all this time, and once at the Cha-hyeon who’d dropped out of nowhere like a ghost.

Aside from one wearing an Esper-only combat suit and the other in black, the pair—identical like twins—were squaring off over him. Not exactly the kind of scene you grasp in a heartbeat.

The murderous silence broke when the Hyung holding him pushed Se-min behind his back.

He stumbled where Hyung guided him, but it let him see the newly arrived Cha-hyeon clearly. Popping up out of nowhere, Cha-hyeon let out a disbelieving, hollow laugh.

“Look at you…. Ha. Baby, get away from that bastard right now.”

“Don’t listen, Baby. You’re okay, right?”

If he hadn’t actually seen each mouth moving, he might’ve thought some unhinged guy was arguing with himself. The dissonance was that strong.

Then the second Cha-hyeon chopped his hand through the air, as if swatting something aside.

Bang! With a thunderous boom, Hyung was swallowed by black mist. While he staggered and slammed back into the wall, the other Cha-hyeon strode in and seized Se-min’s wrist.

“Hyung!”

Staring, aghast, at the Hyung driven into the wall, Se-min snapped his head back to Cha-hyeon. Frightened, he shouted at him.

“What did you just do, Hyung…!”

“It’s time to wake up from this dream, Se-min.”

Se-min’s eyes wavered. Rrrrumble…. A faint tremor rippled through the hotel room, but unlike Cha-hyeon, Se-min didn’t notice.

…More than that—more than that, Hyung was the problem.

Coming to, Se-min looked at the Hyung propped against the wall. Hyung was shrouded in a sinister black mist. Seeing him smeared into a dark, pulpy blur, Se-min’s mouth fell open.

No. Sung Cha-hyeon getting hurt is absolutely not okay….

“Ah…!”

Did his desperate wish get through? The Hyung wrapped in black mist slid, little by little, back to normal.

“Ha.”

Completely unscathed again, Hyung scoffed and roughly wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. He spat blood-tinged saliva on the floor and gave the gentle smile Se-min knew so well.

Even now, in this mess, Hyung wore the smile he loved as he strode over. He reached out and took Se-min’s other wrist.

Caught between two identical men, both hands seized, Se-min’s confusion only intensified.

“What do you think you’re doing?”

The Hyung who’d been with him all along asked the intruder, voice hostile. The second Cha-hyeon answered just as coldly.

“That’s my line, isn’t it?”

With S-class Espers radiating killing intent on either side, only Se-min’s eyes darted frantically. His body trembled on its own, like he was standing before a wild beast.

“Cha-hyeon… Hyung?”

A trembling voice slipped from his lips. Two pairs of eyes snapped to him at once. They were too dark—jet-black—and without meaning to, Se-min flinched.

Then the Hyung he’d been with gave him a soft smile. As if to say, don’t be startled, don’t be afraid. A smile meant to soothe a Se-min who had no idea what was going on. He laced their fingers gently and said,

“Yeah, Se-min. There’s nothing to worry about. Come here.”

“Go where, exactly?”

Cha-hyeon’s grip on his wrist tightened. It clamped like a snare—hard enough to wring a choked sound from him. The gentle-looking Hyung knit his brows.

“Don’t be rough with Se-min.”

“Shut up. You’re noisy.”

“Se-min, it’s dangerous. Come to Hyung.”

“I said shut up.”

Two identical people, talking in the exact same voice. One used the tender tone Se-min knew, the sudden interloper used a combative one—but, strangely, both felt like the Cha-hyeon he knew.

Pinned between them, Se-min couldn’t move either way. What the hell is going on? I just wanted to spend a blissful, lovers’ time in bed with Hyung.

Rrrrumble…. The space gave another quiet shudder. Again, only Cha-hyeon sensed it. He squinted and swept his gaze around the room.

Suddenly, the bed brushed the backs of his knees. A moment ago it had been farther away, but now it was close enough to fall back onto. Yet to Se-min, that shift felt perfectly natural.

“Ah, so you’re omnipotent like this too?”

Looking at the bed, Cha-hyeon snorted, incredulous. Meanwhile, the Hyung with their fingers laced tugged Se-min gently, then lifted his other hand to cradle Se-min’s jaw. As if to show the other Cha-hyeon, he leaned in slowly, about to kiss him.

There was no way Cha-hyeon would just watch. He yanked hard on Se-min’s wrist. Their linked fingers wrenched apart, and Se-min tumbled straight into Cha-hyeon’s arms. The solid arms around his shoulders bit in, leaving them tingling.

“Ah!”

They were so close he could see the sheen of those black pupils and the fine patterns around them. Looking half-crazed and entirely enraged, Cha-hyeon split his mouth in a grin and asked,

“Se-min. Do you want sex that badly?”

Still in a daze, Se-min stared up at him blankly. The whites of Cha-hyeon’s eyes stood out as his gaze tipped toward a point in the air.

… 3 days 23 hours 11 minutes until the Gate Flood …

“I can spare about a day.”

“W-what do you… mmph!”

The question that surfaced vanished without a trace as their lips crashed together—greedy enough to be ravenous. Rabbit-eyed, Se-min squeezed his eyes shut when a tongue slipped between his parted lips.

“Mmph…!”

That slick, too-vivid softness made him shiver. All it took was Cha-hyeon exploring the tender corners of his mouth and tickling under his tongue for his sensitivity to spike indecently fast.

He forgot the Hyung behind him and lost himself in the kiss. Technically, the kiss that had been interrupted by the suddenly appearing Cha-hyeon was now happening with the cause—but it was still Cha-hyeon, so it was fine. He wanted to kiss Sung Cha-hyeon. He wanted to take Sung Cha-hyeon in, deep.

It felt like his brain was melting. Shock had snuffed out his desire, but it roared back in an instant. Heat pooled low in his belly; his skin itched from the inside; his body flushed hot, and he wanted to vent the bubbling lust boiling over.

Was kissing always this good? Maybe it’s more intense because I’m with the person I love… my lover? spouse? partner? …someone I’m with? …someone I like.

“Mm, ngh, haa…. Sip!

His body turned where that grip guided him, and the firm, springy mattress brushed the backs of his knees. His legs gave out before he knew it, and he wobbled down onto it.

Their lips parted naturally, and sitting on the edge of the bed, Se-min looked up at the man he’d been trading tongues with. Since Cha-hyeon didn’t pounce but only looked down at him, the one who grew more desperate was Se-min.

“…Why aren’t you continuing? Aren’t we… doing more?”

At the end of his patience, he pleaded. A kiss wasn’t nearly enough. Like a blown fuse, the current Se-min had zero hesitation about voicing his desire.

Cha-hyeon’s brows arched. His eyes slanted again toward that same nowhere in the air. Then his mouth crooked into a grin.

“Hyung’s always had a fantasy about emergency guiding.”

“…Emergency guiding?”

Dazed, Se-min echoed him. Emergency guiding? It’s not like he’s on the verge of a rampage. Ah—does emergency guiding in a different sense mean the kind they do at…?

“Uh….”

He clearly heard the words, but couldn’t process them. Like a wall had gone up in his head—he felt close to understanding, yet it wouldn’t click.

Cha-hyeon shut his lips but let the corners lift. That smile swept the dissonance away in a flash, and Se-min swallowed hard.

Radiating a razor-bright intensity, Cha-hyeon climbed onto the bed. The mattress sank under his weight, giving Se-min a tense, dropping sensation.

Slowly, Se-min reclined. Before he knew it, he was bare—without a single stitch.

Though he hadn’t touched a thing, Cha-hyeon looked down at Se-min’s suddenly naked body. A small, disbelieving chuckle tickled Se-min’s ear.

“Yeah, Se-min. Make sure you show him exactly who you’re doing this with.”

Blinking vacantly, Se-min’s eyes flew wide. Kindly turning his shoulders, Cha-hyeon revealed the view beyond. Se-min’s heart thudded and dropped.

“…Hyung?”

Standing like a stone totem, Hyung silently watched from behind—staring at him and Cha-hyeon tangled on the bed. Expressionless, he looked icily cold.

His heart, stopped for a beat, kicked into a racing thud-thud-thud. It felt like getting caught doing something wrong behind Hyung’s back—right in front of him. The tips of his fingers and toes went cold and curled inward. At the same time, a sharp twinge lanced his heart.

Cha-hyeon gave a fishy grin. Riding the high, he grabbed Se-min’s jaw conspicuously, making sure the man behind could see.

Their lips met. Eyes unblinking, Se-min stared at Hyung staring at him. Even so, the tongue pushing into his mouth hunted down every sensitive spot.
