Chapter 97
Mitchell’s words made me feel like the world was collapsing. Maybe the Earth had disappeared or the solar system had exploded.
There’s a limit to being cheeky, and I made a mistake. I thought Mitchell would fall for me more if I used his anger, but it was a misjudgment, no, a total mess. There are other people to use.
I hastily thought of ways to fix the stupid mistake I had made.
Kneeling down and begging profusely.
Crying pathetically.
Submitting a one-page reflection letter.
Giving him my thing (Mitchell version)
Sucking his thing (Mitchell version)
There’s no need to choose. Doing all of them would probably be the best method.
“Mitchell.”
Yet, I couldn’t execute any of them. The shock from Mitchell’s statement hadn’t subsided yet. I kept imagining myself after Mitchell left, and my mood started digging a tunnel.
Solution number 2 was automatically selected. A grown adult crying would certainly look shabby and pathetic, but I couldn’t stop the tears that were coming out with my own strength.
As soon as I started sobbing, tears welled up. The corners of my lips drooped down, and my eyebrows furrowed, completely crumbling. I could guess how ridiculous my face looked without even seeing it.
Mitchell then furrowed his brow. His eyes looking at me shook slightly.
“You said you wouldn’t leave me.”
Having personally felt that I shouldn’t be cheeky with Mitchell, I opened my mouth. I, who can’t live without Mitchell, had made a mistake that would remain in my life.
There are things you should do and things you shouldn’t.
“I’m reflecting. I’ll write a reflection letter.”
Solution number 3.
“Huh? I really made a mistake. I won’t do it again.”
I knelt on one knee, leaving the hurt leg alone, and begged.
Solution number 1.
“Do you want to touch this? Will that make you feel better?”
Number 4.
“Or do you want to do what you like the most?”
Number 5.
While grabbing Mitchell’s thing, I wiped away a tear that finally fell. My heart was beating so roughly that it was difficult to breathe. When was the last time I cried in front of someone?
That’s when Mitchell grabbed the nape of my neck.
“How is your condition getting worse?”
“Huh?”
“You’re welcome.”
“…Aren’t you angry?”
“Why would I be angry?”
“You said you’d never see me again? That we should end it?”
“Are you misunderstanding my words?”
Mitchell shook his head.
“I asked if it would be okay not to see you. Who said they wouldn’t see you? When did I say we should end it?”
I quickly wiped away the tears that had messed up my eyes and examined Mitchell. Just like before, Mitchell was smiling in the most beautiful way in the world.
Even I thought I had become a bit more emotional. Why did I get so choked up? He didn’t say we should never see each other again, he just asked if it would be okay not to see each other, but I got too immersed in my own imagination.
I was so embarrassed about suddenly crying that it gave me goosebumps. I quickly wiped my messy face and grinned broadly. If I got too serious alone, Mitchell might not like it.
While hugging Mitchell tighter, I watched his expression and waited patiently until his lips parted.
As always, Mitchell’s body was so warm. I wished we could stay like this forever.
“So, are you going to meet Inbeom Yoon?”
Mitchell asked a terrible question. I shook my head violently to the point of dizziness. After moving my hips to completely settle between Mitchell’s legs, I calmly asked.
“Who’s that?”
Mitchell’s eyes looking down at me were sharp. But I liked how one corner of his mouth was slightly raised.
“Inbeom Yoon? I don’t know such a person.”
I simply finished erasing the memory.

“You’re saying he really put the house on the market?”
Inbeom Yoon shouted at the real estate agent.
– Yeah. I found out about this late too. It came out yesterday. But it’s for two months later.
“Two months later?”
– Yeah. Not exactly two months, but September, October? Anyway, it seems they’ll live there until then and move out. You’re going to buy this right away, right?
“Let me think about it for now.”
– Why? You acted like you’d buy the house even if you had to use up all your assets back then. Is it because the house next door burned down? Isn’t that even better? You’d have that vast land all to yourself.
“Aren’t they rebuilding on that burned site? The owner of that house said they would rebuild.”
– As far as I know, no. I heard they just covered it with grass? For now, the house next door isn’t on the market.
“Ah, shit.”
– It’s even better. Even if you combine it with the house next door, it’s much cheaper than the last price you offered.
“I’m not buying it! Why would I buy that place?”
– Why are you suddenly getting angry?
Inbeom Yoon expressed his intention not to buy and hung up the phone. There was no reason to buy Mitchell’s house unless it was next to Geon-woo’s.
However, while it didn’t matter if Mitchell moved, the problem was that it could affect Geon-woo.
The two are currently living together. It’s not an unfounded assumption that their relationship is unusual.
The one fortunate thing is that Mitchell likes women. As far as Inbeom Yoon knows, Mitchell was famous for having clean, public relationships. Such a Mitchell wouldn’t likely have romantic feelings for Geon-woo, so it must be Geon-woo following Mitchell around.
However, there were many puzzling aspects in Mitchell’s behavior so far.
Were they really that close?
Anyway, Inbeom Yoon wasn’t sure about the nature of their relationship. No matter how he guessed, it was just unconfirmable speculation.
The best method would be to ask Geon-woo directly, but Geon-woo always refused contact. If so, there was only one option left.
To ask Mitchell Cronenwirth directly.
***
Mitchell woke up early in the morning. Except when he had to leave at dawn, he always woke up before the alarm went off. He would only feel at ease after seeing Geon-woo sleeping quietly beside him.
Mitchell didn’t trust people easily. He thought everyone would leave eventually, and he understood that everyone had their own circumstances. That’s why he didn’t resent those who left.
Instead, to protect himself from falling apart, he kept traces of those who left. That was also the reason why he started recording videos of Geon-woo.
Of course, the messy videos on Mitchell’s phone were just what Jeff had saved arbitrarily. They shouldn’t be treated the same as Geon-woo’s videos. Geon-woo probably wouldn’t know the detailed circumstances.
Mitchell kept the videos for himself, for when Geon-woo would leave without a word. He was already wearing out the videos of Geon-woo’s naked body that he had forcibly taken during their first meeting and the one taken in the bathtub from watching them so much.
Even though Geon-woo hadn’t left, Mitchell was watching them as if forcibly injecting memories into his brain. He had actually memorized them.
Mitchell disliked being trapped, so he deliberately broke the front door. But sometimes he wanted to repair the always-open front door.
Instead, he wanted to change the locking principle a bit. He wanted to install a modified lock that could confine Geon-woo either from inside or outside.
Of course, he only thought about it, he didn’t actually make it.
Since Geon-woo started sleeping next to him, Mitchell always woke up before Geon-woo. It could be considered a form of surveillance to prevent him from running away while sleeping.
At first, he thought it couldn’t be helped if Geon-woo ran away. That he could let him go if Geon-woo wouldn’t become obsessed with him again even if he begged.
But now he decided to just keep him. He resolved to keep Geon-woo by his side no matter what. Even if Geon-woo asked to be let go, he had no intention of letting him go.
Adding to that desire, he wanted to change the form of feelings Geon-woo currently had.
He wished Geon-woo would fully love him, not just stay by his side to give attention and be obsessed.
Of course, it was okay even if he couldn’t obtain it completely. It would be sad if Geon-woo didn’t realize it himself, but just spending a lifetime together would be joyful. Still, once the desire arose, it was growing rapidly.
Mitchell only went back to a light sleep after confirming that Geon-woo was sleeping soundly. It was closer to just closing his eyes rather than actual sleep.
“Mmm.”
Just then, Geon-woo stirred and turned to the opposite side. Mitchell opened his eyes, looked at Geon-woo’s back, and then lay on his side facing Geon-woo.
The sun hadn’t risen yet, but Geon-woo’s back was faintly visible because the blackout curtains weren’t drawn. He was sleeping defenseless, wearing only white briefs without even a blanket.
It’s rare to see someone so carefree while living with a gay man with strong perverse tendencies. Mitchell carefully moved to hug Geon-woo’s waist. When his hand touched Geon-woo’s belly, Geon-woo flinched and called Mitchell’s name with a faint moan.
“Mitchell…”
“…Yeah.”
After that, he mumbled incomprehensibly. Eventually, he grabbed Mitchell’s hand, fumbled with it, and then put it inside his own underwear. Mitchell, forced to grab Geon-woo’s thing, had to bite his lip to avoid laughing out loud.
Whether it was done in his sleep or what, it was clear that Geon-woo had changed. The fact that he called Mitchell’s name and then smoothly played with his hand was clear evidence.
Mitchell was very satisfied, feeling like he had seeped into Geon-woo’s very bones. Above all, he liked that the soft flesh didn’t readily become hard. He liked the fact itself that Geon-woo simply wanted his touch, not because he wanted to get excited right now.
Before long, the strength left Geon-woo’s grip and his breathing became regular. It seemed he had fallen asleep again.
Mitchell closed his eyes while gently holding onto Geon-woo’s lower part. Only after spending a couple more hours with a clearer mind than before did his phone vibrate.
After turning off the alarm, Mitchell carefully removed Geon-woo’s briefs and got out of bed. After admiring the soundly sleeping naked body, he patted the round buttocks and headed to the bathroom. It was barely 6 o’clock.
