Chapter 149
Geon-woo laughed at first. He was momentarily surprised, thinking they might have noticed his relationship with Mitchell, but upon reflection, they hadn’t really done anything. Yet there were dating rumors.
While Mitchell and he did stick together on set, it was to a degree that could be explained by friendship. It wasn’t enough to warrant dating rumors. Mitchell seemed to feel the same way, as he laughed along and asked Geon-woo:
“Geon-woo, should we really start dating?”
Mitchell’s staff joined in on the joke, teasing the makeup artist:
“They say they’re really dating. What are you going to do now?”
The makeup artist burst into laughter and stood up. She patted Mitchell’s now clean back, signaling that the work was done. Mitchell, who also got up, added one more comment:
“If we’re going to match the dating rumors, I guess I really should date you?”
Mitchell and Geon-woo, the subjects of the dating rumors, seemed to find it amusing and continued to joke around. The makeup artist, belatedly realizing that mentioning fake news was inappropriate, quickly apologized:
“I just happened to see it on the internet. I know it’s just a joke, but… I’m sorry if I offended you.”
She rambled on while packing her things. Embarrassed, she quickly said goodbye and left. Everyone laughed off the brief commotion. Geon-woo didn’t entirely dislike the dating rumors. It felt like people thought they looked good together, even though they hadn’t done anything special.
After filming ended, Geon-woo arrived home and only sought out Mitchell after they had both showered separately. They usually showered separately because if they showered together, they’d end up rubbing against each other under the shower all day.
Geon-woo found Mitchell in the walk-in closet inside the bedroom. He was standing naked, opening a drawer.
“Why aren’t you dressed?”
He was holding a pair of briefs but hadn’t put them on as he strode over. Geon-woo stared pointedly at Mitchell’s lower half, intending to embarrass him. But Mitchell, catching Geon-woo’s gaze, deliberately caressed himself. As expected, he wasn’t the type to feel embarrassed by this.
“Is this what you wanted to see?”
He draped the briefs he was holding over Geon-woo’s shoulder and grabbed Geon-woo’s waist with both hands. Preventing him from escaping, he kissed him. He intertwined their tongues and pressed his lower body close.
Mitchell pulled down Geon-woo’s shorts. Realizing Geon-woo wasn’t wearing underwear, he smiled while still biting Geon-woo’s lip.
“You don’t have anything planned tomorrow morning, right? Keep your schedule clear.”
“Why?”
“I’m curious about this.”
He pressed firmly on Geon-woo’s crotch. He was suggesting they do some manscaping.
***
I left the shop feeling completely exposed. I was reborn as a new person at the hair removal salon.
Since we had moved to a different city, this wasn’t Mitchell’s usual salon. But it was a place Mitchell had been to a few times, so it was trustworthy.
During the hair removal, I was so distracted by the fact that I was showing my private parts to a complete stranger that I didn’t even notice how time passed. When it was all bare down there, it actually felt refreshing. Like having a fan pointed at that area. The strange emptiness made my hand want to keep reaching down there.
Mitchell said he had something to do and didn’t come with me. We were originally going to go together, but a phone call that came in at just the right moment sent us in different directions. I wanted to ask who it was, but I only saw the name ‘Mr. Wood’ on the screen. To be honest, I was too preoccupied with the hair removal to think much about it.
When I returned home, Mitchell wasn’t back yet. I thought about calling him but decided to shower first. I couldn’t wait to show him how smooth and soft the newly cleaned area had become.
I dried off and stood naked in front of the full-length mirror. I admired the hair-free area and my whole body. It was only awkward at first, but I got used to it the more I looked. I didn’t think there would be much difference since I wasn’t very hairy to begin with, but there was definitely a noticeable change. Just having the hair removed made all my attention focus on that area.
“Huh?”
My phone on the living room sofa rang. I rushed over and as soon as I checked the screen, I called out loudly for Mitchell.
“Mitchell! Where are you? When are you coming? I’m home now.”
– I’m on my way.
“How long will it take?”
– Uh… hang on. Sorry. I’ll call you right back.
“Okay.”
It seemed like he got another call. After putting down the phone, I touched the smooth area again. Giggling to myself at this strange experience, I roamed around the living room and turned on the TV that I hadn’t used since moving in, just to pass the time.
I skipped past the news and stopped on a reality dating program while watching an animal channel. Men and women in swimsuits were putting all their efforts into capturing each other’s hearts.
I naturally focused on the men’s lower bodies. Looking at a man with a swimsuit precariously hanging on his hips, I wondered.
Did they also get hair removal?
Out of pure curiosity, I couldn’t take my eyes off them. If they just lowered it a little, I could check.
I turned up the volume and moved closer to the TV, which was well over 100 inches. With my bathrobe carelessly draped over my shoulders without putting my arms through, I absent-mindedly touched the newly bare area while focusing on the screen.
“I want to do it with you.”
When a female contestant blatantly seduced her male counterpart, the man proudly patted his center. They exchanged suggestive glances and physical contact. As I had expected, the level of content in American dating shows was intense.
Despite feeling embarrassed and blushing, I kept my eyes on the man’s front. Then I looked down to observe my own. As I was rubbing the smooth area and grasping below, I heard the next line of dialogue.
“Do you want to do it with that bastard too?”
The dialogue came not from the TV, but from behind me! It wasn’t the man who was looking at the female contestant like he wanted to devour her, but damn Mitchell’s line!
“Oh! Uh… you’re back already?”
The distance between the living room and the front door was far, and the high volume of the TV had masked the sound of Mitchell coming in.
I covered between my legs and slightly closed my thighs. This wasn’t how I had planned to show Mitchell.
“Are you doing it alone while watching that bastard?”
I don’t even know the guy with the sleazy look on the TV screen. I was curious about what was inside his pants, but that was just about whether he had hair removal or not. I had zero interest in the man himself.
“What? Absolutely not.”
Mitchell, who had carelessly thrown off his outer clothes, quickly approached and scanned my body up and down. He glared at the covered area and then met my eyes again.
“Why are you suddenly doing something you never do? You don’t usually watch TV. I didn’t know you were interested in these kinds of programs. Do you want to go on one?”
I had invited misunderstanding. I was standing half-naked in front of the TV, fiddling between my legs. And of all times, when the male contestant filled the screen.
Mitchell always reacted intensely whenever I showed interest in other men. A woman of a different gender couldn’t be a rival, but a man was different.
I’m sorry, but I liked seeing Mitchell angry. Every time I saw him jealous, it made me feel specially treated.
“I am curious about those men.”
“……”
Mitchell’s expression, cooling down as if he couldn’t believe it, was like a beast about to attack. He had a scary face that looked like he would tear me apart if I said one more word.
“I’m curious if those guys got hair removal like me. I was waiting naked to show you. Should I keep standing like this?”
I slowly dropped my hands. As I revealed the bare area below, Mitchell stared at it intently. His tongue came out to lick his lips, and then he bit the area he had licked. Furrowing one eye, he muttered.
“…It’s pretty.”
Despite his gruff tone, I grinned widely for some reason and grabbed Mitchell’s hand. When I let him touch down there, Mitchell squeezed his eyes shut.
“I have high standards. How could those guys compare to you?”
“True.”
Mitchell opened his eyes and took a long, deep breath as if relieved. He moved his fingers one by one, touching the area. As a smile appeared on his lips, I pushed away Mitchell’s hand that I had been holding.
“You’ve seen it, you’ve touched it, that’s enough, right?”
I walked out, circling around the sofa. In broad daylight, standing naked in front of Mitchell was uncomfortable, so I was trying to escape. Conscious of Mitchell’s gaze on my back, I unnecessarily tensed my buttocks.
I thought I was walking fast, but Mitchell caught up in one bound, grabbed my wrist, and turned me around. He pushed me all the way to the floor-to-ceiling window overlooking Central Park. In the process, the bathrobe that had been carelessly draped over my shoulders fell to the floor, and I ended up standing naked against the window that was twice my height.
Last time, he had cornered me here and made me rub my butt against it, and today he put me in the same position.
This guy who enjoys danger always ignores others’ gazes. But I’m not like that, so I couldn’t keep standing naked by the window.
“No! Mitchell. What if someone sees? They might, like, zoom in with a camera…”
It seems unlikely that anyone would do that, but you never know. We shouldn’t underestimate paparazzi cameras.
“They can’t see in here.”
“What?”
“You can’t see inside from the outside. No matter what we do in here.”
The three windows Mitchell pointed to were the largest ones facing the living room. He turned me around again. As my body pressed against the window, the cold sensation made my waist jerk. Mitchell kissed the back of my neck and said,
“You just enjoy the view of the park. I have something to do behind you.”
