How to Become a Sadist’s Lover – Chapter 30

The former Vampire Lord created three children over the span of more than five hundred years. There was his daughter Alesha, and the twins Sirius and Procion. Although they each had different mothers, the Lord treated his children equally regardless.

The bond between the three children and the Lord was inevitably bleak. It was only natural that as they grew up, they came to view their father as an enemy. After all, to become the leader, one had to overthrow the original leader.

Even the most brilliant full moon eventually wanes into a thin crescent. Finally, on a day when the old father’s power had diminished, Alesha succeeded in killing him.

“We need to pull Alesha down.”

The night before escaping the vampire kingdom, Procion visited Sirius and said these words. It meant the same as “We must kill Alesha.” Sirius, who didn’t enjoy bloodshed, remained silent. Frustrated by his twin’s hesitation, Procion grabbed his shoulder and shouted.

“Why are you hesitating? We need to kill that woman right now!”

Sirius understood. He knew that Alesha wouldn’t leave them alone, as they shared the former Lord’s power. It was simple logic. If they didn’t kill her first, they would be killed.

“Calm down.”

Sirius placed his hand on Procion’s. His brother was snarling like a wounded wild animal. Fleeing the kingdom must have been the ultimate humiliation for Procion. Though they were twins born on the same day with similar faces, their personalities were completely different.

The man with strong pride and aggression was like a fiercely burning sun.

“We don’t have a winning chance right now. We need to retreat first.”

“You mean run away.”

“Whatever you want to call it, it doesn’t matter. You’ll eventually get everything you want. It will just take time.”

Sirius trusted his twin brother. It was a bond forged over centuries. They had survived together all this time, and surely they could continue to do so.

“Are you asleep?”

Yan whispered softly. Sirius, lying still, didn’t respond—not even his breathing was audible. Emboldened by this, Yan slowly turned his head toward him.

It was difficult to see clearly in the dark room. The hotel was built in a secluded alley where even streetlights couldn’t penetrate. The only source of light was the neon sign visible through the window.

A pale blue light washed over Sirius’s face. Yan couldn’t help but admire him. Though he was already familiar with his handsome features, seeing them in this unfamiliar place gave them a fresh appeal.

“Are you really sleeping?”

Again, there was no answer. Yan moved closer, almost touching skin to skin. He realized that Sirius had a lower body temperature than most, and made a mental note to remember this.

“Sleep well.”

His lips brushed against Sirius’s left chest with a soft peck. Kissing his lips was too daring, so this was the extent of his courage. Having accomplished this small act, Yan moved back as if nothing had happened. His heart pounded, sending adrenaline throughout his body.

He forgot about his sore nipples that had been bitten and pulled, and his aching buttocks. Soon after, Yan fell into a pleasant deep sleep. It had been a good night.

Morning sunlight penetrated between his eyelids. With a groan, Yan woke up momentarily confused by the unfamiliar surroundings. But soon, memories of the previous night came flooding back.

“Sirius…”

He seemed to have already left the hotel. He had disappeared so quietly that Yan almost wondered if last night had been a dream. But a shopping bag placed on the small desk betrayed Sirius’s presence.

Inside the shopping bag were a shirt and pants. They were similar in style to what Yan had been wearing yesterday. He didn’t know where Sirius had found these so early in the morning, but at least he wouldn’t have to worry about what to wear to work.

“The size fits perfectly?”

Trying on the clothes gave him a strange feeling. He wondered how Sirius knew his exact measurements. But soon, Yan became disheartened. He thought they had become somewhat close after last night’s intimacy, but Sirius’s departure without even saying goodbye suggested otherwise.

“What a mess.”

Before leaving the room, Yan looked around and muttered. A torn shirt and buttons were scattered on the floor, and the bed had shifted slightly from all the activity. Moreover, the sheets were still damp.

He hadn’t noticed what the scene looked like last night, but in the morning light, everything was clearly visible. It felt like facing reality. Yan checked out of the hotel with a heavier heart.

‘Is there a possibility or not…’

Despite the gloomy morning, he still had to go to work. Walking through the bustling streets during the morning commute, Yan tried to assess his chances. It seemed that being in love made one more emotionally sensitive than usual. He found himself attaching meaning to actions that the other person might have done without any particular intention.

Even during work hours, memories of his time with Sirius kept resurfacing. He could recall the damp smell of the back alley and the texture of the bricks against his palm. Fortunately, today’s assignment involved street investigation, so he didn’t have to worry about his team leader catching him spacing out.

“Oliver, Noah. How’s it going over there?”

“Well, we don’t see a single fang of these terrorist vampires.”

“No matter how crazy they are, they won’t have ‘I’m crazy’ written on their foreheads. Keep your eyes peeled!”

“Why are you so sharp today? Are you guys even searching properly?”

Through the radio, Yan heard his colleagues bickering. At that moment, static interference crackled through the frequency. Wincing at the painful noise, Yan frowned and tapped his earpiece.

“Nothing unusual here eith— Ah!”

“What’s wrong!”

“What happened!”

Oliver’s short cry immediately changed the atmosphere. Even Yan, who had been lethargic all morning, tensed up. However, Oliver’s subsequent transmission was surprisingly casual.

“Isn’t that Sirius over there?”

“What are you talking about?”

“I just saw a familiar face and got excited…”

“You scared us for that?” Dave grumbled. Regardless, Oliver continued his commentary with an admiring tone.

“Looks like he’s working… Wow, he’s really fast. Wonder if he’s on an important case?”

“If he is, wouldn’t that make our job harder? What would constitute an important case for a vampire hunter?”

Those who knew Sirius’s profession sighed in exasperation. Meanwhile, Yan wondered if Sirius had left the hotel early because of work. But he quickly dismissed this sweet delusion. Whether it was true or not, indulging in such wishful thinking was emotionally draining.

‘Focus on the job.’

They lived in a world where vampire supremacists attacked innocent citizens. The reason was simple: to display their power. It was incredibly ignorant behavior, but there’s nothing more dangerous than someone who is both ignorant and powerful.

“Oh, he’s back… now he’s running in the opposite direction.”

“Opposite direction, where?”

Dave and Oliver were still chatting. Yan tried to ignore the real-time information about Sirius coming through his earpiece. However, he couldn’t disregard Oliver’s next words.

“Seems like it’s toward 3rd Avenue.”

Yan jerked his head up. As if on cue, a sign reading “3rd Avenue, Block 32” caught his eye. Dave, standing next to him, also murmured, “3rd Avenue? That’s our area, isn’t it?”

“Speaking of Sirius, I heard rumors that he might be half-giant. Could that be true?”

“He’s tall, but he doesn’t look like a giant to me.”

“Maybe it’s a distant ancestor. Anyway, his animal-like instincts and superhuman strength aren’t normal.”

His dick also seemed giant-like, Yan responded only in his mind while looking around. He was hoping to catch a glimpse of Sirius coming this way. And then it happened.

“Wait, over there…!”

“What is it?”

Dave, who had been looking in the opposite direction, turned his head. Yan pointed at a figure and said:

“That man, isn’t that Pedro?”

“What?”

Pedro was a man who had become stronger through subjugation, and because his subjugator was monstrously powerful, he had become quite formidable himself. As a result, his abilities were said to rival those of pure vampires.

With his overwhelming strength, Pedro had attacked a cruise ship in broad daylight and had even seriously injured four members of a special forces team during his arrest. Despite this, he had managed to escape right before being locked up.

“Doesn’t it look like him?”

“I don’t know… but don’t vampires usually move alone? Over there, there are two men and two women together.”

“Maybe they’re on a double date?”

Despite his doubts, Yan kept his eyes on the man. He resembled Pedro from the wanted poster, but there was a possibility he was mistaken.

“We’ll know for sure if we get closer. Let’s go.”

Dave still seemed to think it wasn’t Pedro, but since they couldn’t simply ignore the possibility, he followed Yan.

The distance between them and the group was about as wide as a two-lane road, enough for them to recognize each other. Just as Yan and Dave spotted the group, the group spotted them too. It was at that moment their eyes met with the gleaming eyes shadowed by a snapback.

“Duck!”

Yan pushed Dave. In that instant, a bright red trajectory passed through where Dave had been standing just a moment ago.

“Damn, I really hate this. Why do they have to fight using blood?”

Yan shuddered. Being startled at almost getting hit was one thing, but seeing blood made him feel eerie. It wasn’t just a matter of personal discomfort; being able to manipulate blood meant they were dealing with a powerful vampire.

Dave, who had already called for backup on the radio, aimed his gun. Just as he was about to pull the trigger, the group split into four different directions. Their movements were so fast that it was difficult to track them with the naked eye. Before they could react, Dave made a choking sound.

“Dave!”

Something like a black shadow had ensnared Dave’s ankle. Having fallen because of this, Dave was being dragged across the ground. Attacking the shadow seemed to have no effect. This was the first time they had encountered a vampire with such an ability.
