# Chapter 81
Baek Jaan’s mouth, which was about to reproach himself, was suddenly blocked by Hajin’s palm. Hajin sighed softly as he looked at Baek Jaan, who was just rolling his eyes.
“It’s not my fault, and it’s not your fault either, Mr. Baek Jaan. It’s not any of our faults. It’s the bastard who kidnapped us—why should we blame ourselves?”
Baek Jaan’s eyes widened in surprise at the curse that came out of Hajin’s mouth, but soon he nodded in agreement as if acknowledging the truth in those words.
However, Hajin knew that Baek Jaan wasn’t really nodding because he agreed, but simply because those were Hajin’s words.
‘At this rate, the sun will rise soon.’
Hajin decided to take a nap later and made up his mind to completely stop Baek Jaan’s self-destructive thoughts.
“Mr. Baek Jaan. What are you so anxious about?”
Since comfort wasn’t working, Hajin had no choice but to ask directly.
If he had been better with words, he could have comforted without digging into wounds, but unfortunately, Hajin didn’t have such eloquence.
Baek Jaan couldn’t answer Hajin’s question for quite some time. But Hajin didn’t fall asleep and quietly waited for a response.
“I’m afraid you’ll leave me, hyung. I can’t live without you, and if I lose you again or if you leave… I wish I could lock you up somewhere…”
Hajin’s body trembled momentarily at the final words filled with intense longing.
For a moment, Choi Jihyung came to mind, but Baek Jaan and him were completely different. Baek Jaan could speak openly to Hajin precisely because he had no intention to torment him.
Hajin pondered how he could alleviate Baek Jaan’s anxiety. Granting what he wanted would solve it immediately, but since he wanted confinement, that was something Hajin couldn’t agree to.
‘What should I do…’
As he racked his brain, Hajin spoke up before the silence stretched too long.
“I can’t let you lock me up. But I’ll hold you whenever you feel anxious instead.”
Hajin’s arm wrapped around Baek Jaan’s waist, and their bodies pressed together more firmly. Baek Jaan squeezed his eyes shut as he felt Hajin’s heart pounding through their touching chests.
Confirming Hajin’s heartbeat from such close proximity surprisingly calmed the uneasiness stirring in his chest. Without realizing it, Baek Jaan asked in a pleading voice.
“Will you hold me whenever I say I’m anxious?”
“Yes. Anytime.”
“…I might become a nuisance.”
It wasn’t just a possibility, but a certainty. From the moment Hajin gave permission, Baek Jaan would want him insatiably, never satisfied.
“Hmm, at least let me go to the bathroom freely.”
Hajin took the comment as a joke and responded with a joke of his own. But that no longer mattered. It was fine if Hajin thought it was a joke.
After all, it meant he had accepted him, didn’t it?
Hajin could tell that Baek Jaan’s anxiety had been somewhat resolved as he pulled him close and kissed the top of his head like a child seeking comfort. Thankfully, they could finish before dawn.
“Now let’s get some sleep.”
After resolving one problem, drowsiness washed over him again. However, Baek Jaan didn’t seem tired at all and continued placing kisses all over Hajin’s body.
The kisses were soft and gentle, but they were a disturbance to Hajin who was about to fall asleep. Eventually, Hajin grabbed Baek Jaan’s face with both hands and pulled him in for a kiss.
Baek Jaan was momentarily flustered by the unexpected contact, but when Hajin’s lips parted, he responded even more passionately.
“Mmm…”
Hajin had intended to use Guiding to put him to sleep, also taking the opportunity to provide treatment that he’d forgotten during the commotion. As if sensing his intentions, Baek Jaan dodged Hajin’s tongue skillfully, moving as he pleased.
He gently bit and moistened Hajin’s lips dried by the air, taking advantage of the moment of confusion to explore his mouth. Whenever Hajin tried to move his tongue, Baek Jaan would slip away with ghostlike precision and return to teasing his lips.
As the situation continued with only their breathing becoming labored and no proper Guiding being performed, Hajin grew frustrated. It was enjoyable, but he was dying to sleep yet couldn’t.
“Hnngh…”
Moreover, as their tongues intertwined for longer, an aroused Baek Jaan began touching various parts of Hajin’s body with increasingly sexual intent, making the situation awkward.
Each touch of his fingertips created both ticklish and sensual feelings, making Hajin’s body increasingly tense.
Throughout all this, Baek Jaan’s greedy lips showed no intention of pulling away, and Hajin’s mind grew increasingly hazy.
“Mmm… haa.”
This couldn’t go on. Hajin’s survival instinct warned him. If he gave in now, tomorrow’s Hajin—or rather, post-activity Hajin—would definitely suffer.
That’s when it happened. Whether because Hajin had been helplessly going along, or because Baek Jaan was too distracted exploring his body, the movements of his tongue became simpler.
Hajin didn’t miss the opportunity. He wrapped his arm around Baek Jaan’s neck, preventing him from pulling back, and gently bit his tongue. Then he infused it with Guiding.
The veins on the back of Baek Jaan’s hands bulged from the intense pleasure that sent chills down his spine. Although it was regrettable that they couldn’t go further, he surrendered to the languid yet electrifying pleasure that tingled down to his toes.
And then Baek Jaan fell asleep. Hajin breathed a sigh of relief as he recalled how Baek Jaan had been slowly moving his tongue until just before falling asleep.
“Now I can finally get some sleep.”
With those final words, Hajin fell asleep as if passing out.
Having fallen asleep just before dawn, it was well past lunchtime when he opened his eyes. Hajin, who had never slept this late even on holidays, rose in alarm.
“Ugh!”
The muscle pain Cha Jinwoo had warned about had arrived. Hajin grimaced at the sharp pain that felt like an electric shock and carefully lifted his body.
The pain was like being trampled on by ten people.
“Nnngh… Ah, it hurts worse than I expected.”
Almost no part of his body was unaffected. Shoulders, back, waist, thighs—almost every part was in pain.
He tried to raise his arm to massage his shoulders, hoping to somehow reduce the pain, but groaned and lowered his arm when he felt the pain in his lower back.
‘Looks like I’ll be suffering for a few days…’
“Haah…”
With a sigh, Hajin finally realized that Baek Jaan, who had fallen asleep beside him, was gone. He had definitely put him to sleep with Guiding, so Baek Jaan should still be asleep, but he wasn’t there, which was puzzling.
However, with a body that found even getting out of bed painful, it was difficult to go check where Baek Jaan was.
In the end, Hajin gave up trying to move forcefully and carefully lay back down on the bed.
Knock knock.
“Hajin, it’s Cha Jinwoo.”
With perfect timing, Cha Jinwoo came to visit.
“Come in.”
As soon as permission was granted, Cha Jinwoo opened the door and entered. Upon seeing Hajin still lying in bed, he wore an apologetic expression.
“Did I wake you up?”
“No. Umm…”
Having refused the suggestion to stay in the hospital, Hajin felt somewhat embarrassed.
“Because of the muscle pain… I can’t move.”
Even if Cha Jinwoo had clicked his tongue or scolded him, Hajin would have had nothing to say, but instead, Cha Jinwoo approached with a face full of concern to examine him.
“You can’t move? Is it that painful? I’ll call the medical team, no, a healing Esper right away.”
“What? Wait!”
But before Hajin could stop him, Cha Jinwoo had already disappeared.
Hajin tried to sit up reflexively but ended up lying back down with a groan from the muscle pain. With his throbbing back, he decided it might be better to have an Esper called after all.
As soon as Cha Jinwoo dashed out, Han Seungho and Lee Doyoon arrived. Meanwhile, as if in competition, the sound of footsteps pounded up the stairs, making the floor shake.
“Hyung! They say you’re in pain!”
“That’s why I told you to stay in the hospital!”
Hajin tried to calm the two who rushed to his sides, panting. He wanted to pat their arms to reassure them, but he couldn’t even lift his own arms in his current state, so he barely managed to raise his hands.
“But where’s Mr. Baek Jaan?”
“I put him in a room to keep sleeping. Selfish bastard. Hogging you all to himself…”
The muttered words added at the end made it clear what had happened. Someone must have come to wake Hajin in the morning and discovered Baek Jaan sleeping with him.
Even without seeing it, Hajin could imagine Baek Jaan being thrown aside.
‘Well… he’s an Esper so he wouldn’t have been hurt.’
“Baek Jaan hyung didn’t wake up even when we threw him. Did you use Guiding on him?”
Lee Doyoon asked with certainty. Though still embarrassed, there was nothing to hide, so Hajin nodded obediently. At that, Han Seungho seemed more upset than Lee Doyoon who had asked the question.
“What about me?!”
“Ah… of course I will. Mr. Han Seungho and Mr. Cha Jinwoo should still have that substance in your bodies.”
Just as Hajin was about to continue saying that he couldn’t get up now due to muscle pain and would do it after being treated by the Esper that Cha Jinwoo was bringing, Han Seungho interrupted.
“Then do it now.”
“What? W-wait…!”
Hajin tried to stop him, but Han Seungho, whose eyes had turned red at the thought of losing his turn to Lee Doyoon and Baek Jaan, didn’t wait at all.
‘I haven’t even brushed my teeth…!’
The pain in his body was one thing, but he hadn’t even gotten up to brush his teeth yet. Hajin defended himself as best he could. In that moment, his arms that had been in pain moved just fine.
In response, Han Seungho, who couldn’t force himself on Hajin’s body without permission no matter how desperately he wanted to, pressed his lips repeatedly against the back of Hajin’s hand covering his mouth, his face full of discontent.
