Bad Relationship – Chapter 66

It was just a moment.

I seemed to have closed my eyes for just a second, but my consciousness returned as if a power switch had been turned off and on again.

“……ni, …… dae. ……That’s how you should organize it. Don’t contact me for a while……. No, not even Grandpa…….”

As I woke up from what felt like fainting, I heard a low voice in the distance.

Someone was whispering on the phone. As I looked around, I frowned.

The room was dark. But the light coming through the crack in the door was enough to make out my surroundings.

This wasn’t my apartment.

My room’s lighting wasn’t this grand, and the ceiling wasn’t this high.

The ridiculously high ceiling and ornate decor made me wonder if I had gone on a business trip. As I was trying to recall, I heard the sound of a door opening.

Startled, I instinctively sat up in bed. A large man entered the room and paused.

With his appearance, the memories of the previous night rushed back to me.

It felt like a fast-forwarded film, and I was embarrassed by the vivid memories. I realized I was in trouble.

Just as I thought, “This is a mess,” the room’s lights turned on, and he walked in slowly, wearing a thin nightgown and holding his phone.

“How are you feeling?”

His mechanical question made me feel awkward. I scratched my neck and replied, “……I’m okay.”

At least, I thought I was.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure if I was okay, but I decided to say that for now.

It would be weird to say I wasn’t okay in this situation.

I couldn’t even look him in the eye and turned my head away. He scanned me from head to toe and continued, “You definitely have good stamina.”

That was the last thing I wanted to hear from him. I smiled bitterly.

“Hearing that from you, hyung, feels a bit strange… but I’m above average.”

I added, trying to ease the awkwardness, “I’m the strongest among omegas.”

He seemed amused by my comment.

Then he approached the bed and asked, “Have you eaten?”

“……Not yet. I’m not really hungry…….”

“Don’t you get cranky when you’re hungry? I heard you become docile once you’re fed.”

That sounded familiar. I looked up in surprise and met his eyes, then quickly looked away again.

“……Who said that? That I’m a glutton?”

The most likely candidate was Lee Junghyun, but he didn’t know I get cranky when I’m hungry. So, I asked who said it, and he replied, “Han Juwon, the chairman.”

“……Did you talk to him?”

“I had something to ask him. He said you like seafood porridge, so I bought some… but it’s not in a state to be eaten now. Do you want something else?”

“Not yet.”

“Then, how about a bath?”

As he suggested, I looked down at myself. Surprisingly, I was in decent shape. The bedsheets were clean too.

“The bed is clean.”

“It’s a room we don’t use.”

That’s when I realized why this room felt unfamiliar.

It wasn’t the main bedroom where we usually slept. It was one of the three bedrooms that neither of us used.

“Did you move me, hyung?”

“You weren’t in a state to sleep.”

Of course, he would have moved me.

My memories were fragmented, but I could imagine the state of the bed. It must have been a mess.

We must have changed positions several times, and the sheets would have been soaked.

I regretted not doing it at home, where at least the mess would have been worth it. But it was too late now.

Surprisingly, my body was clean. There was no sticky feeling, and when I checked, he explained, “I wiped you with a wet towel, but you should still take a bath.”

I was still too tired to move, but I needed to take a bath to clear my mind and have a proper conversation with him. The scent of our intimacy still lingered in the air.

“I’ll take a bath first.”

As I tried to get out of bed, my legs gave way, and I barely suppressed a silent scream. My legs had no strength, and my knees buckled. My entire body ached—my back, arms, legs, and even my fingers felt sore.

“Uh…….”

The intense muscle pain made me break out in a cold sweat. I couldn’t control my body, and it felt like my muscles were screaming.

I looked down and saw bruises all over my inner thighs. My buttocks felt strange too, and I realized there was still a foreign sensation inside me.

As I relaxed, a thick fluid flowed out—a mixture of semen and my own fluids, a clear reminder of the heat. I froze, and he approached me.

“It’s no wonder your legs are weak. We went at it pretty hard.”

He was right. After that kind of intensity, it was a miracle I could even move.

“……Thanks to you.”

I blamed him, but he just smiled.

“Be grateful I stopped when I did. I held back a lot.”

“You could have gone further?”

“Of course. I’ll help you to the bathtub.”

Before I could protest, he scooped me up in his arms. I wanted to refuse, but my body wouldn’t cooperate. I couldn’t move at all.

He carried me effortlessly, and I couldn’t help but admire his strength.

“The timing is perfect. The water should be ready.”

As he carried me, I realized we weren’t heading to the bathroom but to a large hall with a hot tub and a shower booth. The entire wall was made of glass, offering a stunning view of the night sky and the sea.

“Why should I marry you?” “I told you already, didn’t I? I need someone as insensitive as you.” “But why?” “You’ll find out slowly later. Anyway, we need to get married within a month, so prepare yourself.” “Are you dying in a month?” While Junghyun was talking nonsense about whether the other man didn’t want to become a bachelor ghost, he noticed Cha Jaehyuk glancing at his phone screen. After checking what appeared to be an incoming message, Cha Jaehyuk looked back at him and beckoned with his finger, as if telling him to look. “What?” When Junghyun looked at him with a face that said “speak if you have something to say,” Cha Jaehyuk narrowed his eyes and smiled brightly. With a gaze so hot it could melt someone, so enchantingly beautiful. Unlike moments before, he was now staring at Junghyun with such an intense, loving gaze that it sent chills down Junghyun’s spine. Feeling like something had gone terribly wrong, Junghyun tried to move away, but Cha Jaehyuk was faster. Suddenly closing the distance between them, he leaned toward Junghyun’s shoulder and whispered directly into his ear. “You should think carefully about what’s advantageous for you. Whether you want it or not, you’re destined to go through with this marriage.” The strong scent that enveloped him made Junghyun’s entire body shiver. He was definitely an S-ranker. Junghyun had sensed it somewhat since their first meeting in the elevator, but it became obvious when they got closer. Even though Cha Jaehyuk was likely suppressing it as much as possible, it was still difficult to handle. His skin hurt. It felt like a mild electric shock. The sensation was uncomfortable. “First, I’d appreciate it if you’d keep your distance.” “Why?” “I’m someone who needs a wide personal space. This distance is extremely uncomfortable for me.” “Your answer first?” “If it’s about marriage, then no.” “Didn’t I tell you that you don’t have a choice?” “No, I do have a choice. I can simply not show up at the wedding.” When Junghyun boasted that he wouldn’t meekly walk into a wedding ceremony just because his family forced him to marry—that he could even give the middle finger to the officiant and run away—Cha Jaehyuk smiled languidly. Chillingly. “You’ve got spirit too. I’m liking you more and more.”
