Zero Point – Chapter 73

#073

When the door closed, only Ivan and Eunseok were left. The large man, Ivan, pulled over the chair Ha Byeonghun had been sitting on and sat down beside the bed. His thick, broad upper body, typical of Slavic people, was quite intimidating. However, what was more important was the intense energy of an ability user emanating from Ivan’s body. The energy he emitted was comparable to Choi Hanseo’s. He was definitely not below A-rank. Probably an S-rank hunter.

“Можно я потрогаю?” (May I touch you?)

Ivan asked rather politely if he could touch him.

“Do you think that’s possible?” Eunseok retorted sarcastically in Russian. Ivan’s brow furrowed.

He was a man with a fierce and violent appearance. His face alone was enough to tell that his life had been riddled with violence. However, he seemed to be trying his best to control his temper when dealing with Eunseok.

“I won’t hurt you. I just need a guide,” Ivan said softly, as if coaxing a child.

“And if I don’t allow it?”

“I’ll say it again, I don’t want to hurt you. I want to get along with you. If you just accept me, we’ll make a great team. I promise.”

Eunseok had been trained sufficiently on how to escape from such situations. However, escaping from an S-rank hunter was absolutely impossible.

When Eunseok remained silent, Ivan repeatedly clenched and unclenched his fist as if trying to control his temper.

“We will cherish you and treat you well. We won’t take you to gates and put you in danger. You’ll always be safe. Of course, you can have anything you want. You can do anything you want.”

“…We?”

Eunseok muttered in Korean. Come to think of it, something came to mind.

Russia has three S-rank hunters. The “we” Ivan was referring to probably meant those three.

Eunseok smirked. While it might be possible with an A-rank hunter, properly guiding an S-rank hunter requires at least mucosal guiding. That means sexual contact is inevitable. And to think he would have to guide three inhuman S-rank hunters.

Instead of indulging in disgusting imaginations, Eunseok inwardly smiled. He had found a weakness to exploit.

Both Choi Hanseo and the S-rank Park Sunwoo had reacted strongly to Eunseok’s guiding. Hunters tend to become obsessive and possessive towards their guides. No matter what agreement the three Russian S-rank hunters might have made to share Eunseok, it would be difficult to go against that instinct.

Of course, dealing with even one S-rank hunter was nearly impossible. But it would be easier than dealing with all three.

“So you three have agreed to share me?”

“We had no choice. There’s only one of you, and three of us.”

“Where are the other two now? Did they come to Korea with you?”

Ivan quietly looked into Eunseok’s eyes upon being questioned. A glimmer of reason flashed in his blue eyes, which had been full of longing and impatience.

“You’re thinking about escaping.”

“Of course. I don’t have a habit of getting involved with three people at once. Just the thought makes me sick.”

Eunseok said calmly, slowly scanning Ivan’s body before adding,

“Well, I might consider one person. I just don’t know if you have the ability to have me exclusively.”

Creeak-.

Ivan rose from the chair. His build looked quite threatening from Eunseok’s perspective lying on the bed.

“You’re playing games.”

Ivan muttered as he reached out towards Eunseok’s face. His eyes were filled with undisguisable longing and desire as he slowly extended his hand.

Fuck.

Eunseok cursed inwardly.

Choi Hanseo flashed through his mind. What would he be doing now? Though he wasn’t sure, one thing was certain – he would be doing everything in his power to find Eunseok.

Neither in training nor in actual situations had Eunseok ever thought of relying on others. He had always overcome challenges with his own strength and trusted only himself. But at this moment, Eunseok realized he was waiting for Choi Hanseo. He believed that Choi Hanseo would definitely come.

Ivan’s large, rough hand, like a pot lid, cupped Eunseok’s face. The moment the S-rank hunter’s hand made contact, guiding energy began to be rapidly absorbed into Ivan, regardless of Eunseok’s will.

“……!”

Like someone inhaling drugs, Ivan’s pupils dilated instantly. His expanded face filled with ecstasy and joy as he clenched his teeth tightly.

“My God. This is really…”

Ivan muttered in a trembling voice as he moved his hand downward. As if trying to increase the contact area, the hand that was cupping Eunseok’s face moved to his neck, and then further down into his shirt. Eunseok tried to stop the guiding. However, while he could minimize the intensity of the guiding, it was impossible to completely block the energy being absorbed through the contacted skin.

Haa. Haa.

Ivan’s breathing noticeably became rougher. He stretched out his other hand and pushed it under Eunseok’s shirt. The hand that had stroked up from his abdomen greedily caressed his upper body. Eunseok’s face contorted as he saw Ivan’s pants front visibly bulging.

Words were unnecessary. Eunseok swung his tightly bound legs wide towards Ivan.

Thwack-!

The military boot that flew precisely aimed at Ivan’s temple was blocked by his large hand. Eunseok tried to headbutt Ivan by raising his upper body using the momentum from his waist. But it was quickly blocked by a hand. It was truly an inhuman reaction speed.

However, Eunseok had already anticipated that his attack would be blocked.

Crunch-!

“Ugh!”

Ivan let out a small groan as Eunseok viciously bit into the hand that had blocked his headbutt.

Thwack-!

Ivan pushed away Eunseok’s body, which was hanging on while biting his hand. Eunseok’s body flew backward and hit the wall next to the bed with a thud.

“Kuk…”

Eunseok let out a small groan at the strong impact hitting his body, but soon grinned, baring his teeth.

“You vicious bastard!”

Ivan gritted his teeth as he looked at his hand with a chunk of flesh torn off.

Ptui-!

Eunseok spat out the piece of Ivan’s hand flesh he had bitten off, as if to show it off. Then he licked his blood-soaked lips clean with his tongue.

“Try touching me again. I’ll cut off your fingers next time.”

“You… insolent bastard. Just a mere guide!”

Thud-!

Ivan’s fist, like an iron mace, slammed directly into Eunseok’s abdomen.

“Kuk…!”

Eunseok’s body folded in half. Due to the shock to his internal organs, stomach acid immediately burst out of his throat.

Urgh-! Ugh!

Eunseok vomited stomach acid a couple of times and then smirked. Although the impact that felt like it had ruptured all his internal organs was unbearably painful, this was still better than being disgustingly touched.

Heavy breathing sounded from above. Raising his gaze with fierce eyes, he saw Ivan, clutching his bleeding hand, taking rough breaths as if trying to kill his own temper. In his blue eyes, wild anger and forcibly summoned patience crossed countless times.

“What are you hesitating for? Keep going. It’s much better than being touched by your disgusting hands.”

Ivan’s eyes glinted like those of a beast.

“I was trying to treat you well…”

“Bullshit. You fucking bastard.”

Eunseok, no longer feeling the need to respond in Russian, chewed out curses. Ivan, clearly understanding that it was a curse, immediately swung his hand.

The palm, as large as a pot lid, struck Eunseok’s cheek. Instead of a slapping sound, there was a thud as his body fell sideways as if flying.

Eeeeee-.

A ringing sound filled his ears as the strong impact shook his brain. Soon, warm blood began to flow from both nostrils. His consciousness flickered in and out repeatedly.

“Hey. Are you okay? I didn’t mean to hit you, damn it. You should have just behaved nicely.”

Ivan muttered as he lifted Eunseok’s fallen upper body.

Ptui-!

Eunseok spat at Ivan’s face as it came close. The red saliva mixed with blood stuck to Ivan’s eyelid before slowly sliding down. Ivan’s face slowly changed to an expressionless mask. It was a chilling face devoid of all emotion.

Ivan grabbed Eunseok by the collar and lifted him up. Then he clenched his fist. Eunseok grinned crookedly at him.

Violence was familiar.

As far as Eunseok could remember, he had always been exposed to violence. The private orphanage, barely touched by the state’s hand, was a world of utter survival of the fittest. Children who were even a year older or slightly bigger in build ruled as the strong.

The strong children vented their anger at the world and the injustices they suffered from above on the weak and young children. Children, as pure as they were cruel, showed no mercy regardless of the age of their victims.

Eunseok had almost no memory after his family died before his eyes. The clearest first memory after that was when he was beaten nearly to death by an older orphanage boy, choking and gasping for air. As he recalled, as soon as he could breathe again, Eunseok rushed at his attacker, ready to die fighting.

To protect oneself, one had to become stronger than the opponent. Tougher.

With this mindset, Eunseok spent his rough childhood, youth, and adolescence. And finally, when he became an adult and entered the military, Eunseok was completely captivated by the training and actual combat that made him even stronger.

So… This level of violence was nothing. It was just momentary pain that would pass if endured.

Eunseok thought this as he felt the tremendous pain striking his entire body as soon as his consciousness cleared.

Groans were about to escape through his clenched teeth. Eunseok bit down hard, suppressing the moans.

Tsk-.

A small tongue-clicking sound was heard, followed by a stream of cold water falling on his face. The blood scabs covering his eyelids were washed away by the water. Eunseok painfully lifted his heavy eyelids. In his hazy vision, he caught the silhouette of someone.
