Young Husband 47

#47

With Eunsol’s permission, Hyun-oh embraced him and leaned back against the bed headboard. It was something that could take anywhere from 30 minutes to five hours.

Since this was Hyun-oh’s first time too, it was difficult to gauge how long it would take. As it maximized alpha instincts, stopping midway was nearly impossible.

Though different in nature, they were similar in that neither could move freely. Hyun-oh’s brow furrowed slightly.

“Bear with it a little longer.”

He could feel the breath tickling his chest gradually growing hotter. Despite Hyun-oh’s words, Eunsol only trembled slightly at the shoulders instead of answering.

Eunsol was wandering between consciousness and unconsciousness. If not for the warmth felt from their touching skin, he might have wailed like a child from the terrible pain.

With the thought that he had to endure somehow, he bit his already wounded lips over and over.

Though a metallic taste filled his mouth, the pain was so severe that it barely registered as a separate stimulus. Even with his body melting from Hyun-oh’s pheromones, it was difficult to bear.

How much time had passed?

Eunsol’s eyes were beginning to close drowsily. Hyun-oh was simply resting his hand on Eunsol’s back. He didn’t even awkwardly pat his back as he had when Eunsol had cried sorrowfully after being rescued by Hyun-oh.

Just as Eunsol was enduring the pain, Hyun-oh too was only wishing for this time to end quickly. He felt as if his reason was placed on a guillotine. Restraining himself to avoid acting impulsively consumed his mental energy severely.

With the singular thought that he couldn’t hurt Eunsol, he too endured what felt like an eternity.

“Ugh…”

Eunsol finally lost consciousness, unable to endure any longer. Hyun-oh’s gaze fell on the slender body going limp.

The blood on his fingertips had mixed with tears, leaving distinct marks on the white face. Hyun-oh briefly looked around. Moving to get a towel seemed like it would cause excessive stimulation to Eunsol.

He could separate Eunsol from his body, but he thought Eunsol might get hurt. Even though the omega in his arms had fainted, the alpha’s desire showed no signs of abating.

Hyun-oh exhaled deeply at the instinct that wanted to push Eunsol further, like a lust-crazed beast.

With no other choice, Hyun-oh pulled the edge of the sheet to wipe Eunsol’s eyes, tear-stained cheeks, and lips that were still forming beads of blood.

“…Foolish person.”

Whether it was his innate temperament or the influence of the environment he grew up in, Eunsol was excessively passive. Though it was to calm Eunsol’s heat cycle, it was Hyun-oh who had caused him pain.

If it were Hyun-oh, he would have fought back with all his might to make the person causing him pain suffer too. But instead of biting Hyun-oh’s flesh, Eunsol had ruined his own lips.

With Eunsol’s face covered, Hyun-oh hadn’t realized he was continuously biting his lips. He hadn’t deliberately tried to observe Eunsol’s expressions due to the strange feelings that arose whenever their eyes met.

In the end, it felt as if a heavy stone had been placed on his chest because of Eunsol, who only revealed his wounds after losing consciousness.

He doesn’t get angry at me even for what happened with Han Hyunyong. If Eunsol hadn’t been involved with Hyun-oh, he wouldn’t have experienced such things. Until now, Hyun-oh had been surrounded only by people who didn’t hesitate to bring others down for their own benefit.

Everyone moved for their own interests. Even Kim Myungjun, who had assisted Hyun-oh for a long time, was the same.

Hyun-oh wondered if Kim Myungjun would still dedicate himself to him if he didn’t have his background? When he asked himself this, he couldn’t confidently answer “yes.” He thought that even if he were Kim Myungjun, he wouldn’t devote his brilliant mind and time to a superior with nothing to offer.

It was true that Hyun-oh had provided many things to Eunsol. Enormous wealth and spaces where he could rest with peace of mind. Despite growing up in a wealthy family, Eunsol had lived having what he rightfully deserved stolen by his family members since childhood.

Though he hadn’t intended to receive anything from him, while investigating Eunsol, Hyun-oh had learned that his father had truly left him nothing in inheritance.

He was a cruel man. Even more so than Hyun-oh’s own deceased father.

Although Eunsol was also born from his seed, he had not only overlooked his spouse and other son abusing Eunsol but had eventually sold him for a huge price.

And to someone old enough to be Eunsol’s grandfather.

As that thought occurred to him, the face of Chairman Lee, who looked nothing like Eunsol, came to mind. Eunsol’s appearance must have closely resembled his other father, who had died not long after giving birth to him.

“…You could even ask me for revenge.”

Eunsol had not demanded anything from Hyun-oh. He often seemed to feel guilty about receiving the things Hyun-oh provided him. Having Eunsol pay at the restaurants they visited together was because Hyun-oh wanted him to become accustomed to the world he had now become part of.

It was something expected of his spouse.

Not only could Eunsol not hate his family, but that temperament was also generously displayed toward Hyun-oh, who had become his new family through marriage.

Eunsol’s face, emitting wheezing breaths, was only clear. Despite his body emitting a sensual fragrance, his face radiated a pure light like untouched snow.

“Because you’re this kind of person… maybe that’s why I’m confused.”

However, if Eunsol had been a greedy person who grew up pampered like his half-brother, Hyun-oh wouldn’t have felt such confusion. They would have become a show-window couple that only maintained minimal obligations. Like most people in wealthy families.

Even now, they might appear like a show-window couple to others, but the biggest difference was that Hyun-oh’s heart was different.

Strangely, Hyun-oh couldn’t treat Eunsol the way he had lived his life until now. It was the same even now.

While he had cruelly pushed Eunsol because of the strange feelings from Eunsol resting his cheek on his palm, now that Eunsol had lost consciousness, Hyun-oh was stroking his hair with trembling hands and caressing his reddened eyes like spreading fever blossoms, round nostrils, and wounded lips.

Eunsol was a type of person Hyun-oh had never encountered before. Sometimes, though Eunsol’s behavior frustrated him, his pure and upright heart also made Hyun-oh feel like he was facing the sun that was difficult to look at directly.

A delicate yet firm heart that tries to understand and accept people despite their hostility toward him. A pure soul that smiles wholeheartedly even for the smallest kindness.

It was something neither Hyun-oh nor many others could possess.

It couldn’t be bought with money, nor could it be obtained by pretending.

Hyun-oh brushed back the sweat-soaked black hair from Eunsol’s forehead. Unlike before, there was no hesitation in the movement of his lips gently landing on the round forehead.

“Ugh…”

Eunsol groaned and clutched his throat. The inside of his throat was beyond scratchy—it felt as painful as if he had swallowed sand instead of water. He tried to open his eyes, but securing his vision wasn’t easy, as if heavy stones were placed on his eyelids.

Even after barely opening his eyes, Eunsol blinked slowly, unable to swallow the saliva filling his mouth. His wounded tongue was swollen, making even breathing painful.

The scene filling his retina was familiar. After all, he had regained consciousness on the bed in the bedroom he shared with Hyun-oh.

But strangely, it felt like a cold winter wind was blowing in his chest. It was because of the memories that sprouted like bamboo shoots from before he lost consciousness.

In the end, he had fainted, unable to withstand Hyun-oh’s strong pheromones. Eunsol stroked his flat stomach with trembling hands.

Last night felt like a dream, but it wasn’t. It was because of the traces left on his body.

“…It hurts.”

Eunsol slowly sat up on the bed. Even though he had merely pulled his legs out of the bed and sat on the edge, cold sweat immediately soaked his forehead.

He wiped his forehead with the back of his hand. The temperature against his skin was warm.

Eunsol rolled his eyes to look down at his body. He was currently naked. The place with the most significant marks was difficult to examine. Instead, his black pupils busily moved over the parts currently visible to him.

A large bruise had formed on his pelvis. Blue marks had also appeared on his wrists and forearms, though not as much as on his pelvis.

All were traces Hyun-oh had left on Eunsol. Seeing these marks, his eyes grew hot.

“…This is what you wanted.”

Eunsol’s expression contorted as if about to cry while his fingertips caressed the dried spotted marks.

There wasn’t a place that didn’t hurt. His body ached more than after suffering from a severe cold. However, unlike a cold, the pain left after spending the night with him was only unfamiliar. Not just his body, but even his mind felt bruised.

Suddenly feeling as if someone was pressing the back of his neck, Eunsol’s shoulders twitched. He raised his hand to feel the back of his neck. Apart from the moisture that dampened his palm, there was nothing to be felt.

“…At least the heat cycle has stopped. That’s good.”

Since it was a forcibly induced heat cycle, it seemed to have stopped quickly. Or it might have been the result of being covered in Hyun-oh’s pheromones, as the dense pine scent could still be felt from his body.

Clearly, things had been resolved well. It was puzzling why his heart continued to make sorrowful sounds.

Expectations had always destroyed Eunsol’s life. Occasionally, his father, stepmother, or half-brother would treat Eunsol differently from usual. Objectively, these expressions were even less than the praise they threw at their servants when they were in a good mood, but Eunsol accepted even that, not knowing what to do.
