The first suggestion to be accepted for team bonding was mine.
“Everyone, unpack your stuff and gather at the resort sauna.”
“Wait, we’re hitting the sauna as soon as we arrive? Uh… okay…”
After unpacking, we wrapped towels around our lower halves and gathered in the sauna room. Only Dealmeat was covering both top and bottom—very respectful of him.
Everyone stood around awkwardly, suddenly becoming shy. Our practice room had a shower, sure, but everything was in individual stalls, so this open setup felt unfamiliar.
“We’re here because of something I wrote in the survey. Figured we’d try it out.”
When the coaches started reading my suggestion out loud in front of everyone, I felt a bit embarrassed.
There were other suggestions too, like [I rushed the initiation. I’ll try harder as a teammate], and [There’s too much to write—will explain verbally to protect my hand joints.]
“Let’s take this opportunity to really get to know one another.”
Sure, being half-naked might’ve made things feel more awkward, but at the same time, it could be a moment to share personal feelings and create solidarity.
To help that along, I pulled out my trump card—something only a handful of people who knew both me and Kessler had heard recently.
“I got married this summer.”
I raised my left hand and showed them the couple ring. Their jaws dropped.
“You’re married?!”
“You actually did it?”
“Wait—why are you only telling us now?”
Well, I’m telling you now because I just did.
“We held a quiet ceremony with just our families. We’re still deciding whether to announce it publicly.”
A few had probably figured it out from Kessler visiting the office so often.
“Is your partner older or younger?”
“Uh… younger.”
“Then… is he the groom or the bride?”
“That’s a weird way to ask it so bluntly. He’s a guy. Yes, it’s the person you’re all thinking of.”
“Whoa.”
Steam hissed up in the hot sauna, thickening the silence that followed.
“But… didn’t you used to like girls? Your type was, like, long straight hair or something…”
There was that one time I’d shared a childhood crush story. Yeah. That happened.
“Well, I guess he’s the one exception.”
“That’s wild. Thanks for telling us, and congratulations.”
“Congrats, man.”
“This is the first time I’m saying it officially, here.”
Embarrassed, I emphasized that last bit—wanting to highlight how special this group was.
“Since I shared something, let’s all go around and each share something too. We’re coworkers, sure, but syncing up is important. Let’s get closer. Killbill, what’d you do this summer?”
Eventually it was our rookie, Choki’s, turn. He stammered as he shared a story about being an unfilial son, tears spilling down his face. It felt like a candlelight moment from a school trip.
To summarize briefly: he ate spoiled side dishes his mom had sent, had a rough time during a competition, got angry, told her not to send food anymore, and threw it all away. Looking back, he felt terrible and hadn’t been able to contact her since.
“I realized… I’m not the most affectionate son. Our job, you know—it’s nonstop competition, no time to breathe, you’re constantly on edge, sleep-deprived… and that makes you irritable. You end up lashing out at family, even though it’s not their fault. But in the end, you’re the one tying yourself down. Should I just call her now and say I arrived safely?”
So Choki called his mom, and all of us greeted her together. We’d met her a few times at team dinners and competitions, so it wasn’t too awkward.
“Mom… I’m sorry I acted like a jerk…”
And with that, Choki broke into tears again.
The closeness in the room was now such that even the knees that had been modestly pressed together earlier had relaxed and opened like when you’re wearing pants.
After washing up and stepping out, we all felt emotionally cleaner too—walls had come down.
“This feels kinda nice.”
Choki
Thanks soooo much for today T_T I was embarrassed at first but it turned into a really happy moment. Hyungs, let’s nail this season together!! See you tomorrow—sweet dreams, love you all

Compared to the group chats of other teams, the WeverK group chat was on the quiet side. Occasionally, it would light up with a notification for an announcement, but that was about it. On the surface, we all got along, but unspoken tensions would build up, and sometimes the team chemistry would falter.
But when the sauna photo got uploaded, the chatroom lit up for the first time in a while—flooded with shy emoticons. Of all things, I was at the center of the photo, which made me chuckle.
On my way back to my room after our sauna bonding time, I was walking with my phone screen zoomed in on the photo when I noticed a shadow cast above me. Reflexively, I looked up.
It took me half a beat longer than usual to recognize him—he was that familiar.
‘Kessler? What the hell are you doing in Thailand?’
Startled, I fumbled my phone, trying to catch it before it fell. It bounced in my hands a few times, but thankfully didn’t drop. Unfortunately, Kessler had already seen the photo.
‘God, this is embarrassing.’
“What is this?”
“I should be asking you that. What are you doing here?”
“You went to the sauna?”
“Yeah.”
“Just with a towel on?”
“Yeah, pretty much.”
It’s not like that’s a weird thing. Going to the sauna with just the guys to bond isn’t unusual. I did it all the time before we got married. It’s not some scandalous activity—I’m allowed to go even after marriage.
I know that, and yet… why do I suddenly feel guilty?
“How’d you even get here?”
“Am I not allowed to come play like this?”
“What are you even saying? I just wanted to focus on training—”
Before I could finish my sentence, a new photo popped up in the group chat and yanked our attention back to the phone. It was a picture where someone had pasted a modesty leaf over my butt.
It was taken right after the group photo, when I was walking away and my towel had accidentally slipped down. Right in the middle of that moment.
“Nice. You really shoved your ass out there.”
“That’s not what happened! It slipped as I was walking off!”
“……You were clearly having the time of your life.”
Kessler’s expression turned so serious that I didn’t even know where to begin explaining.
To make matters worse, I was in the center of the photo and beaming. That was just the mood at the time—I was riding a post-bonding high.
“You said you didn’t invite me so you could focus on training. Why’d you lie?”
“I mean… it was for team discipline—”
“Why’d you lie?”
“No, wait. It’s not even really a lie if you think about it. Were you shocked?”
“First time I’ve heard someone claim flashing your dick is a form of discipline.”
“I swear to God…”
“Did they touch you?”
“What?! No!”
“Then did they suck it? Did they compliment how pretty it is? Who saw your dick the most?”
Just then, someone’s footsteps echoed from the far end of the hallway, and I quickly swiped my keycard and shoved Kessler into the room.
“Let’s talk inside.”
Killbill

Can I go sleep in Woo-rim hyung’s room too?
Choki
He said we could come by anytime earlier
And just like that, the situation got worse. The younger guys, still riding the wave of closeness from earlier, started going wild—right in front of Kessler.
Dragging his stunned self into the room, I tossed him onto the bed, then quickly sent out a message turning everyone down just in case they tried to barge in.
“They said they want to sleep with you? A married man?”
“Kessler, listen. You’ve got guy friends too, right? Haven’t you ever gone to a public bath with them? Can you say for certain that I’m the only one who’s seen you naked in your entire life? See, you can’t.”
“……They’re coming to your room because they want to seduce you.”
“You idiot, you think all men are gay? They all like girls! One of them literally confessed earlier that he has a girlfriend.”
“They probably said that to lower your guard. It’s a trap to seduce pure little you.”
“Do you want to die?”
Kessler suddenly sprang up and shoved me down onto the bed.
“Baby Fox, listen up. Humans are biologically programmed to be drawn to cute things.”
“I’m only your Baby Fox.”
“You really don’t know that half your fans are dudes, do you?”
“That’s because I’m good at the game.”
“No, it’s because you’re cute.”
“No, it’s not.”
“Yes, it is.”
“No, it’s not.”
“You just don’t have a realistic view of how cute you are.”
“And you don’t have a realistic view of your husband. Just because I’m cute to you doesn’t mean everyone sees me that way, Kessler.”
I stood up, ready to argue my point in full—
But then Kessler yanked my loose pants down in one motion.
“What the hell are you doing?!”
He spun me around to face the full-length mirror.
With both my pants and underwear down, I was now the only one half-naked.
Then Kessler’s hand reached between my legs.
