“Of course.”
“Hmm, well, I just wanted to make sure.”
Feeling embarrassed, Jaehyun gathered his medicine bottles and stepped back. Then he took out his phone and scrolled through his contacts.
“I know someone at the university hospital, so go get checked. I heard it doesn’t take that long these days.”
“Alright.”
Seunghyun nodded and got up. Now that their business was concluded, he needed to return home. Suhwan, who had met with Hwalyeon, would probably be home by now too. However, as Seunghyun was about to leave the lab, Jaehyun hastily called out to him.
“Hey, wait a second.”
“What?”
Seunghyun turned with a displeased look, seemingly slightly irritated. Is he hiding honey at home or something? Why is he so desperate to leave quickly? Jaehyun inwardly clicked his tongue and picked up something from his desk to hand over.
“Here, um, take this.”
“What is this?”
Seunghyun reflexively accepted it and his eyes widened. He asked without thinking, but it was obvious at a glance. The thin box was decorated with dainty chocolate shapes. Moreover, it was from a famous brand.
“Chocolate?”
“Well, I noticed. He seems to enjoy desserts that we never eat. If I leave it here, nobody will eat it… So you might as well take it.”
The hyungs, Seunghyun and Jaehyun, had similar tastes. Neither of them particularly liked sweet foods. Additionally, the people who gathered in Jaehyun’s lab were the same, never touching chocolates and only gulping down iced americanos like potions.
He had received this chocolate by chance and was wondering what to do with it when he remembered Suhwan. At the Korean restaurant, Suhwan had eaten his portion of rice cake in one bite and then kept glancing around. This was because the hyungs similarly paid no attention to the rice cakes in front of them. Seeing that he seemed to want more, Jaehyun had ended up offering his rice cake to him. That memory had stayed with him.
“That’s true… but why would you have something like this, hyung?”
“No, I’m not keeping it, um. It would be a waste to throw it away, so I’m telling you to take it, that’s all.”
Jaehyun kept clearing his throat and rushed his words. Watching him, Seunghyun narrowed his eyes.
Come to think of it, Jaehyun and he had similar tastes since childhood. From food preferences to clothing styles.
Could they have the same type in people too?
Seunghyun frowned at the question that suddenly occurred to him.
“What is it?”
“No, nothing.”
Surely, it must be his imagination. They’d only met once, so there’s no way he could have developed feelings that quickly. Comforting himself that it was just his unfounded suspicion, Seunghyun put the chocolate in his bag.
“I’ll give it to him properly.”
“Good.”
Jaehyun nodded, feeling uneasy at Seunghyun’s gaze. Sometimes he was startled by Seunghyun’s sharp looks.
Is this because he’s grown up now? Inwardly sighing, Jaehyun halfheartedly saw off Seunghyun as he left the lab.

Suhwan, who had been eating chocolate, was surprised and opened his eyes wide. Seunghyun, who had been feeding him chocolate, nodded.
“Yes, it’s nothing serious. Just need to get suppressants made again. I just need to check my pheromone levels again.”

Another small chocolate went into the relieved Suhwan’s mouth. He chewed it unconsciously. The sweet taste spread throughout his mouth.
“Should I go with you?”
“It’s fine. I can go alone.”

“I told you it’s fine.”
Seunghyun smiled reassuringly and took out another chocolate from the box. Then he naturally brought it to Suhwan’s lips.
“You have to go to work now. Don’t trouble yourself going back and forth unnecessarily when you’re already tired.”

“Is it delicious?”
“Yes.”
Suhwan nodded, feeling the sweet taste spreading in his mouth. The chocolate Jaehyun gave was perfect for Suhwan’s taste. Above all, he was pleased that Seunghyun’s hyung Jaehyun had thought of him and sent it. Suhwan rolled the chocolate around in his mouth with his tongue, a happy expression on his face.
“Do you want some too?”
“No, I…”
Seunghyun, who disliked sweet things, was about to shake his head without thinking. But if that disliked chocolate was in Suhwan’s mouth, that was a different story. Seunghyun trailed off and directed his gaze to Suhwan’s lips, which had a little chocolate on them.
“Then shall I have a bite?”
“Sure, would you like to?”
Seunghyun nodded and cupped Suhwan’s chin with his palm. And just as he was about to kiss him—
“Whoa.”
Suhwan reached out and grabbed Seunghyun’s collar, pulling him forcefully. Seunghyun’s eyes widened as his lips collided with Suhwan’s in an instant, having been grabbed by the collar.

“Ha, mmm.”
A tongue flavored with chocolate swept through Seunghyun’s mouth. While the sticky chocolate wasn’t really to his taste, the tongue exuding sweetness inside was exactly to Seunghyun’s liking. He moaned as his tongue met the other’s, which was moving more aggressively than usual.

“Ha… where did you learn to do this? Hmm?”

Seunghyun bit down hard on the lips doing such mischievous things. The sweetness burst forth like the juice of a fruit. Excited, Seunghyun pressed his weight forward, urgently bringing their bodies together.
Before he knew it, Suhwan was lying on the sofa. Right after spending Seunghyun’s heat with him, Suhwan had been so exhausted and sated that he’d been repulsed by the idea of intimacy, yet he couldn’t understand why his body grew hotter as time passed. He wondered if something inside him had broken since then.
“Ahh!”
Suhwan let out a hot moan as he felt Seunghyun sucking on his tongue with a tingling sensation. The heat that he thought had subsided after the heat cycle began to rise again.
