The voice belonged to Catastro. He mounted the bed, staring at Lunarsion with bloodshot eyes.

“Wha—! Where did you come in from!?”

“Indeed…You must have been lonely… Weren’t you? It’s alright now—I will comfort you…”

Catastro moved across the bed unfazed by Lunarsion’s enraged protests, stretching out his hand.

“Don’t touch me! Get out!”

Lunarsion tried to flee, but his body—still weak from lingering sensations—could not muster the strength; in an instant, he was cornered.

“Ah… what white skin you have… your legs are so slender and perfectly shaped… just like marble bathed in moonlight… Gah! Aahhh!”

The moment Catastro’s hand tried to grasp Lunarsion’s knee, it was repelled as if struck by lightning and he was blasted against the wall.

Startled, Lunarsion glanced at his chest and noticed that the brilliance of his necklace had intensified.

“Lady Gloriosa… thank you,”

Lunarsion said, clenching the topaz with gratitude as he lifted his gaze with steely resolve.

“You wretched scoundrel! Lord Girikhora has gone mad! Restrain him!” he roared at the top of his voice.

Outside the door, guards and servants should have been on standby. Yet, the response that came was a lewd, mocking voice.

“Unfortunately, no one is coming. They’re all asleep,” the voice echoed—from behind a still-shocked Catastro, materializing from the shadows. As Lunarsion strained his eyes, a man’s figure emerged from the darkness.

A body, muscular and reddish-black in shade, appeared, marked by a head bearing twisted, large horns; eyes that were pitch black and devoid of whites; sharp, golden pupils; a mouth flaunting bared fangs and jagged teeth; pointed ears… and, most telling of all, a hairy, goat-like lower half revealed the man’s true demonic nature.

“A demon… so that is how Lord Girikhora managed to get in here,” Lunarsion murmured.

Even among demons, there were differences in power. This man, capable of using teleportation magic, was undoubtedly a high-ranking demon—perhaps among the Demon King’s top lieutenants. Otherwise, he could never move so freely between the warded royal castle and Moonflower Palace.

Lunarsion tightened his grip on the topaz, beads of cold sweat forming on his brow and dripping down.

“You need not be so frightened. You’re just going to feel exquisite pleasure,” the man purred.

“W-What are you… ughh!”

The moment the man’s eyes glinted, a powerful wave of pleasure surged through Lunarsion’s lower abdomen. His entire body heated up, and his consciousness grayed due to ecstasy.

Yet, the inner pride within Lunarsion—and the power of the topaz—prevented him from succumbing totally.

“Now, obey me…” the demon urged.

“Who… who would ever… obey someone like you! Get out of my sight!” Lunarsion cried.

“Ho… As expected, that topaz is quite something, isn’t it? It might even defy advanced magic… Well, I don’t need magic to bring you down right now.”

The man gazed down at the trembling, enraged Lunarsion and sneered.

“Your Highness Lunarsion, I have what your body has been craving…”

From the hairy lower half, a grotesque hardness stood erect. Lunarsion clearly understood the man’s intentions.

“Ahh…! N-no…! Don’t do this…!”

A shudder ran down his spine, and nausea welled up inside him. His heart was consumed with disgust. Yet, his constricted, fleshy wall twitched, and his eyes remained glued to the rigid form. The man’s figure bore a resemblance to Dagan—but Lunarsion quickly shook his head in denial. No, this was not him. The gaze directed at Lunarsion was one of a predator eyeing its prey. Everything else about him exuded sheer menace. Especially his erection, which was freakish and unnatural. His glans was much sharper than Dagan’s and would hurt tremendously.

“I’ll let you go crazy with this. Now, open those white legs. You can’t resist, can you?” His smile was eerie and his eyes glinted even more from the magic.

“I don’t need you! Get lost!”

Lunarsion desperately shook his head and curled up. Perhaps impatient, the man jumped onto the bed. The man’s goat-like legs forced their way between Lunarsion’s legs.

“No! Stop! Don’t touch me!” he screamed.

“What cute, pointless resistance. I wonder how long it will last. Hehe… If that half-demon hero were to find out about this, what kind of face would he make? Come on, come on, if you don’t open your legs properly, you’ll end up hurting this adorable little thing of yours.”

The hoof pressed down on Lunarsion’s penis. Tears of coldness and fear welled up in his pale blue eyes.

“Dagan! Help! No!” cried Lunarsion.

“Oh, how pitiful. The hero won’t come just because you call out. Your futile resistance is…” the demon sneered before trailing off abruptly as he vanished from sight. In the space where he had stood, a flash of a great sword’s blade streaked across, leaving crimson marks on the sheets.

“Don’t you DARE escape, you bastard!” roared the owner of the holy sword who had now straightened his posture.

“Dagan!”

Tears of relief and overwhelming emotion streamed from Lunarsion’s eyes. Dagan offered him a reassuring smile.

“I’m sorry for being late. It’s fine now. …Just wait a little longer,” Dagan said.

“Okay… I’ll watch for your victory,” Lunarsion replied.

At the sight of Lunarsion’s dazzling smile, Dagan softly smiled back and then turned his face toward the void, raising the hero’s holy sword.

“You’ve disappeared and probably think you can strike when my guard is down? It’s useless… Let light expose my foes—‘Luna’!”

The blue gem embedded in its guard burst forth with intense light. The entire bedroom was flooded with brightness, exposing the figure of a man lurking by the door. Clutching his previously injured shoulder, the demon bared his fangs and roared.

“How dare you! You cocky half-demon mongrel getting carried away with arrogance! – GYAAAHHH!”

The man prepared to attack, but Dagan leapt and struck; in one swift blow, the man was cleaved in two. His diagonally slashed corpse fell heavily onto the carpet, and blood with innards splattered to form gruesome stains.

Immediately, noise arose from beyond the door.

“Your Highness! Lord Lunarsion! Are you alright?!”

“—What was that sound just now?!”

It appeared that those who had been rendered unconscious had awakened. Relieved, Lunarsion raised his voice:

“Come in. A scoundrel appeared, but I’m safe. …My dependable husband has saved me.”

That husband, blushing, covered Lunarsion’s naked body with a cloak. Lunarsion, who found even his possessiveness endearing, entrusted himself to him with peace of mind.

Those entering were taken aback and visibly shaken, but Dagan calmly issued instructions to manage the situation. Before long, the fainted Catastro was restrained, and a messenger was sent running.

“From here on, Prince Skyred will handle the matter. Let’s sleep in the adjoining room.”

The two were currently in the couple’s bedroom. On either side of it were single-occupancy rooms—their personal rooms— accessible through doors set into the walls. Dagan carried Lunarsion into his own bedroom. Since the door to Dagan’s room was left open, it was likely that Dagan had entered from there—outsmarting a man who had assumed Dagan would never come.

Lunarsion realized once again how close he had come to peril. Yet, at the same time, he felt complete fulfillment—Dagan had come to his rescue, and above all…

“Dagan… you took the name of your holy sword from mine, didn’t you?”

A muffled sound escaped from Dagan’s throat, and his neck flushed bright red almost instantly.

“Are you shy? Is that why you stopped Lord Forrata from talking the other day? I’m really happy. It feels like I’ve been by your side the whole journey…”

“Lunarsion”

Lunarsion savored his happiness, looking up with a soft, radiant smile. Dagan, his face still flushed deep red, glared at him, but the hint of desire within his gaze was obvious.

“You, you just love riling me up, huh? Then get ready. Tonight, I’m going to go all the way in.”

Lunarsion’s lower abdomen seemed to throb sweetly in response.

“Yeah. Make me… your Luna… mmmph!”

The words of invitation were swallowed by overlapping lips.
