The Correlation Between Unrequited Love and Guiding 59

“Drink up, quickly. Okay?”

“Haa, keh—eck…!”

“You like water, Hye-seong. Hurry and drink.”

“No, Yoo Ji-ho keeps… ahhk!”

His hand wobbled, and a splash of cold water toppled over his body. Because Ji-ho, unable to wait even the brief moment it took for him to drink, shoved the half-seated cock back in to the hilt.

Hye-seong couldn’t even bring the cup to his lips. His head bowed, his whole body trembling. With Ji-ho seated astride him, it truly felt like his body had been pinned down onto a long pillar.

“You spilled all of it.”

“Aaah…!”

The culprit, Yoo Ji-ho, whispered petulantly as he tugged at one of Hye-seong’s plump nipples. But the bed sheets had already been ruined long ago.

If Ji-ho was really doing this to torment him, then he had succeeded… because now he’d stopped moving altogether.

In the end, to keep Ji-ho from touching him again, Hye-seong awkwardly gathered both of Ji-ho’s wrists with one hand and held them together, then slowly drank the water. And Ji-ho, as if graciously allowing the world’s clumsiest “restraint,” let himself be subdued.

Cool water slid down his throat, which felt as if it had cracked open from dryness. His own hands shook so badly that he’d barely managed to accept the cup Ji-ho handed him, yet Ji-ho looked lively enough to head straight out and do a full day’s schedule.

He didn’t know if he’d be able to get out of bed tomorrow, but at least Ji-ho—right in front of him—looked more alive than he ever had before. That alone made Hye-seong feel relieved.

A moment later, the cup slipped from his hand, and Hye-seong froze.

“They got cold.”

Ji-ho seemed to like the chill clinging to Hye-seong’s lips; without mixing tongues, he nibbled lightly at the outer curve of those lips, releasing and biting again. Hye-seong’s eyes fluttered shut.

He felt happy—he could feel how much Ji-ho wanted his guiding. Today too, Ji-ho held him tightly. And he could see—more than enough—how focused Ji-ho became on an act he’d been thinking about even on ordinary days.

But what exhausted Hye-seong today was how this act kept turning into something else for him.

For someone like Ji-ho, to whom this life was hardly new, there was no way he thought of it like that. How pathetic. All he could do was wish he would adapt soon enough to grow numb to it.

I’ll get used to it… right?

He wasn’t confident, but he had to. He needed to.

At that moment, as if he sensed that Hye-seong was lost in thought, Ji-ho pulled back from his lips. The loss made Hye-seong gaze blankly at Ji-ho’s mouth.

“Hye-seong, what are you thinking?”

“Huh…? Ah, nothing.”

Startled, Hye-seong shook his head with a faint smile.

But something about that didn’t please Ji-ho; he frowned and pressed his lips to Hye-seong’s neck. Then, gripping both sides of his ass as if he meant to tear them apart, he lifted his hips and slammed upward.

“Aa—uhh…!”

Teeth sank into his nape. But with the way the thick cock below was pounding up and stirring him, he had no space left in his mind for that kind of stimulation. Clutching Ji-ho’s shoulders with both hands, Hye-seong was rocked up and down.

His mind went completely white.

Moments later, strength drained from his entire body. Unable to fight the heaviness closing over his eyes, he drifted into sleep.

Right before his consciousness fully dissolved, he felt Ji-ho take his hand and toy gently with his fingertips. Then he fell into slumber.

***

In the past few days, Ji-ho had developed a new habit. He would fall asleep fiddling with Hye-seong’s cheek or hands.

But even outside of those moments, he was always touching some part of Hye-seong. That habit spilled into everyday life.

Because the skinship grew more intense by the day, Hye-seong found himself startled several times daily.

Yesterday, he’d almost cried when Ji-ho, right in front of the auntie, groped him all over without hesitation. At least after that, Ji-ho had begun restraining himself a little when others were around.

When the auntie was present, it was the only time Hye-seong could escape from Ji-ho’s arms. He stuck close at her side and chatted away enthusiastically.

“Want to see my grandson holding his head up?”

“Yes, I want to!”

“Look at this. He’s only fifty days old, you know? But look—he lifts his head all stiff and strong like this to look at me.”

“Wow, really? He’s adorable.”

“Right? I swear, I think he already knows I’m his grandma.”

“Gasp—he must be a genius…”

Eyes widening in genuine awe, Hye-seong exclaimed in a grave tone.

“Right? I think so too, but I don’t say that stuff outside. People with kids and grandkids get so jealous.”

“They really would…”

The two nodded solemnly in perfect sync.

Sitting far away from the kitchen, alone, Ji-ho watched the warm scene from a distance with a peacefully blank expression. When their eyes met, Hye-seong smiled shyly and waved.

Ji-ho smiled back. And quietly thought he should reduce the number of people who came into this house.

Later that afternoon—finally free from all interruptions—Ji-ho told him to pick whatever he wanted from the table.

There were slices of strawberry fresh-cream cake and an assortment of colorful macarons.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Hye-seong pointed at the slice with strawberries pressed into the fluffy white cream. Ji-ho gave a little laugh, as if he’d known that would happen.

“You really have consistent taste.”

“Do I…?”

“Ah.”

At that small sound, Hye-seong opened his mouth, automatically accepting the bite of cake. Even as he chewed, he blinked wide eyes and glanced around. There was only one fork on the table—held in Ji-ho’s hand.

“…I can eat by myself.”

Ji-ho ignored the tiny protest cleanly.

“You had a hard time yesterday, didn’t you?”

He was bringing up last night. Embarrassed, Hye-seong lowered his gaze and gave a small shake of his head.

“No. I’m okay. I want to be helpful.”

When he said that with a steady smile, Ji-ho patted his head in praise.

Closing his eyes to savor the touch, Hye-seong subtly tugged at the thigh of the loose pants he was wearing. Then he glanced up to gauge Ji-ho’s reaction—but Ji-ho said nothing, even after noticing.

“…”

“What’s wrong?”

“Ah, it’s nothing.”

Smiling sheepishly, he waved his hands.

Soon another forkful came toward his mouth, and he opened up again. As he chewed, his brows pinched slightly—so small that no one would notice.

It’s uncomfortable…

Everything was fine except for having to go without underwear. Moving around felt awkward and inconvenient. That had become his only complaint these past few days.

Ji-ho had said there was no point wearing an extra layer if he was just going to take it off anyway—and in that moment, Hye-seong had been strangely persuaded. But he should probably find a chance soon to ask for his underwear back.

Now that he thought about it, he’d been wearing Ji-ho’s clothes for several days as well. He couldn’t go on like this forever…

Lost in thought, he heard Ji-ho speak.

“After you finish the cake, want to take a walk outside?”

“Oh… no, I’d rather just lie down.”

After a moment’s hesitation, Hye-seong shook his head. Ji-ho, who had been playing with his fingers, suddenly stiffened.

“…”

“Huh? What’s wrong?”

Sensing something odd, Hye-seong looked up. Their eyes met—and Ji-ho abruptly tossed the fork away and placed a hand on his forehead.

“…No fever.”

Normally, he would’ve jumped at the idea of going outside. Surprised by the unexpected question, Hye-seong gave an awkward smile.

“My legs feel weak, and I’m hot, and… I don’t even want to look at the outside.”

He grimaced as if the thought alone tired him out.

He wasn’t lying. After moving constantly day and night, he had absolutely no desire to go anywhere.

Right now, he just wanted to flop against Ji-ho and shovel strawberry fresh-cream cake into his mouth. Preferably while wearing underwear.

“…”

“…”

Ji-ho froze as if shocked, then slowly curled his lips in satisfaction. He stroked Hye-seong’s head as though offering lavish praise.

“That’s really wonderful.”

Then he fed him another bite, and Hye-seong opened his small mouth wide—waaah—and accepted it easily. He had no strength for walking, yet plenty left for eating.

Looking at the half-finished cake, Hye-seong let out a contented sigh. Later, it would feel amazing to sit in Ji-ho’s study and read a book. He lifted his head to gaze at Ji-ho.

“…”

“…”

Ji-ho watched him with soft eyes, clearly enjoying the moment.

Smiling back, Hye-seong met that gaze. When Ji-ho continued staring for a long time, he finally tilted his head in confusion.

How many seconds passed like that? After holding his gaze with tender fondness, Ji-ho spoke in a warm, gentle voice that matched his eyes.

“Hye-seong, you’re like a damn puppy.”

“…”

The smile frozen halfway on Hye-seong’s lips went stiff, and his light brown eyes quivered like an earthquake.
