You worthless piece of trash. Jae-young’s molars clenched tightly. Blinking unnaturally, Jae-young lowered his eyelids. Unlike Sa Gong-hyun, being unable to act coldly felt so pathetic.
“…I forgot I have something to do. I’ll borrow your day… another time.”
Jae-young hurriedly moved his legs that were pitifully placed on the bed. He got up and took uncomfortable steps without hesitation. But he was caught by Sa Gong-hyun before he could even take two steps.
Jae-young firmly looked straight ahead and twisted his hand to pull it away. Though he was clearly struggling, the more he did so, the tighter Sa Gong-hyun’s grip became.
“Is running away whenever things are unfavorable a habit of yours?”
“…Let me go.”
“I’m sure I told you. I have no intention of letting you go.”
“Oh really?”
Jae-young, with widened eyes, exploded with the anger he had been suppressing. At that, Sa Gong-hyun’s fine brow furrowed slightly. Taking advantage of that opportunity, Jae-young forcefully shook off his hand, but it was his own body that was pushed back instead.
As his body was forcefully pulled, he tightly closed his eyes. After thinking he had escaped, when he opened his eyes, he was back on the bed.
In the blink of an eye, Sa Gong-hyun had taken the dominant position and heavily pressed down on Jae-young. His left arm, bound across his right shoulder, began to hurt. Jae-young’s lips trembled slightly as he glared.
“Have I done something so wrong that I deserve such harsh words from you, Hyun-ssi? Or was it amusing that I kept pursuing you despite everything? Was this all it meant when you asked me to stay by your side?”
“…”
“Is that so strange?”
“Do Jae-young-ssi.”
“Regardless of what our relationship is, I was genuinely worried about you. Is that so absurd? …Why?”
His eyes stung. Repeatedly thinking about how unfair and frustrating it was, he couldn’t calm the rising anger that seemed uncontrollable.
Jae-young raised his right hand to cover his eyes. His chest, wrapped in excitement, heaved on its own. His eyelids were sore from having shed tears ceaselessly since morning.
“Are you angry because I’m denying Do Jae-young-ssi’s sincerity?”
A dry voice scattered from above. With his eyes covered, he couldn’t see what expression Sa Gong-hyun was making.
As he silently swallowed his tears, Sa Gong-hyun pulled Jae-young’s hand down. His tear-stained face was exposed to the air. Jae-young didn’t hide his sorrowful appearance at all.
“Then let me acknowledge it. I received Do Jae-young-ssi’s concern very well. I have no trouble sleeping at night, and today too, I slept and woke up well under that concern.”
“…”
“Is that enough now? Or should I flatter you with gratitude?”
Words failed him. The monotonously delivered words were so outrageous that he couldn’t utter anything in response.
Even while admonishing Jae-young, his complexion remained so emotionless that even the tears he had been squeezing out wouldn’t come. Despite it being just an act and Sa Gong-hyun being a target, he was still an extremely cruel person.
“It was Do Jae-young-ssi who first said not to act presumptuous, yet I gave in once. I don’t do losing business. I’m saying this won’t happen again.”
Can one really have a relationship with this person? Jae-young felt the weight pressing heavily on his body gradually loosen.
“Now then, what choice will Do Jae-young-ssi make?”
The hand that had oppressed his left wrist released him and braced against the bed. Even so, the appearance of being trapped by Sa Gong-hyun remained.
“Will you flee from me to chase after the schedule you forgot, or will you stay here and borrow my day?”
The manner of speech that seemed to leak a hint of possibility was also one of Sa Gong-hyun’s twisted pleasures.
