The persistent kiss continued. The sensation of his lips parting mine was warm, almost hot.
Every time I tried to pull away to catch my breath, Cha Jae-woo’s lips would follow, pressing against mine once more. I gasped, clutching his shoulder tightly.
I had kissed Cha Jae-woo before, but this time felt completely different. Perhaps it was because he had not been in his right mind then. His eyes, which had once seemed distant, were now clear and intense, almost gleaming as they fixed on me. As I hurriedly tried to step back, his gaze seemed to bind me like a chain, making it even harder to breathe.
“Why are you holding your breath? Breathe,” he said.
“Haah…” I exhaled.
“Good job,” he murmured softly.
Was it just my imagination, or was his voice unusually gentle? I bit my lip, but he tickled me, and my mouth opened again.
“Ah…” I sighed, looking at him in a daze. His face was soft, as if he were looking at a lover, and my heart sank. His hand around my waist felt unusually firm today. Even though his posture seemed no different from usual, something felt strange.
He kissed me again, the sound of it echoing. His lips touched not just my mouth, but my cheeks, chin, nose, eyelids, and forehead. Everywhere he touched felt hot and ticklish, almost unbearable. It felt like every spot his lips touched would turn red.
“Ugh…” I groaned, my toes curling and uncurling involuntarily. I couldn’t believe how flustered I was from just a kiss.
“Hold on to me,” he said.
Was it because it was Cha Jae-woo? For the first time since our lips met, a rational thought crossed my mind. But it was only for a moment. I obediently raised my arms and wrapped them around his neck. His scent filled my senses, making my whole body tingle.
He smelled like an adult, his natural scent filling my lungs. I buried my face in his shoulder, clinging to him. He held me tighter, and I felt my body press against his. Before I knew it, I was lying on the mattress, his body on top of mine.
“Ah!” I gasped, but his lips found mine again, giving me no chance to speak. As he deepened the kiss, a shiver ran down my spine. A cold sensation spread slowly from my lower back upwards.
‘What should I do? Why is this happening?’ I wondered, my body trembling from the cold. I clung to his neck, my legs twitching. Despite the dropping temperature, I felt a slight sweat breaking out.
I held on tighter, afraid to slip even though I was already on the mattress. The cold sensation reached my racing heart, making me shiver even more.
“Ah… wait a moment…” I stammered, my heart pounding and ears ringing. I felt a strange sensation on my back, a mix of pleasure and pain that I couldn’t quite understand.
“This… this isn’t…” I mumbled, my mind hazy. Cha Jae-woo responded to my whispered plea, slowly pulling away and laying me down on the mattress. I relaxed my arms and looked up at him, my body feeling both hot and cold. My clothes were rumpled, and I could feel a bulge pressing against me. I froze, afraid that any movement would betray my feelings.
Cha Jae-woo chuckled, his breath tickling my face.
“Isn’t this wrong?”
Despite my protests, Cha Jae-woo kept smiling.
“Isn’t it…?” I wanted to nod vigorously, but my body felt stiff, and only my lips moved. His gaze seemed to linger on my lips, making me even more self-conscious.
“Why?” he asked, his voice soft and teasing. He knew exactly how flustered I was, and he seemed to enjoy it. There was no need for him to be this close unless he wanted to make me even more aware of his presence.
I bit my lip, feeling a mix of frustration and excitement. The closer he got, the more anxious I became.
“Ugh…” I groaned, trying to hold back.
“Don’t do that,” he murmured, his thumb gently brushing over my lip, stopping me from biting it. The sensation was both soothing and frustrating, leaving me wanting more.
He pulled back slightly, giving me a moment to breathe. But it was only a brief respite. I watched as the bulge in his shirt gradually disappeared, his body relaxing. But his hand didn’t stop; it slid under my loose waistband, making me gasp.
“You don’t like it?” he asked, his voice husky.
It wasn’t a matter of liking or not. I was in a state of confusion, my mind racing with a million thoughts. I didn’t know what Cha Jae-woo was thinking, and I wasn’t sure if I was ready for this.
“No, wait!” I finally managed to blurt out, scrambling away from him. He looked a bit disappointed but didn’t try to stop me.
“We, um, we should talk about this first,” I stammered, trying to put some distance between us. “I mean, we can’t just… do this without sorting things out, right?”
“So, when can we?” he asked calmly, taking a step closer.
I backed away, my heart pounding. “I-I don’t know! Just… not now,” I said, my voice shaking. I needed time to think, to sort out my feelings.
He reached out, pulling me back into his arms. His lips found mine again, and all my protests melted away. The kiss was intense, leaving me breathless and dizzy. When he finally pulled away, I could barely stand.
“What am I going to do with you?” he murmured, his forehead resting against mine.
“Um…” I struggled to find the words, my mind a whirlwind of confusion.
“So, when can we do this?” he asked again, his voice steady and calm.
I looked at him, incredulous. “We need to sort things out first,” I insisted, my voice barely above a whisper.
He chuckled, pulling me closer. “You said we had to get married if we held hands,” he reminded me, his voice gentle.
“That’s different,” I protested weakly.
“But we kissed,” he pointed out, his eyes gleaming with amusement. “Doesn’t that mean we should get married?”
I stared at him, at a loss for words. Why was he doing this to me?
“Well?” he prompted, a playful smile on his lips.
I sighed, feeling a mix of exasperation and longing. “I don’t know,” I admitted, my voice soft.
He laughed, pulling me into a tight embrace. I melted into his arms, my mind a whirlwind of emotions.
“This feels too good,” I thought, my eyes fluttering closed as I leaned into his warmth.
