Yeonwoo, who got out of the driver’s seat, stretched long. Having done his first long-distance driving, his whole body had stiffened and even his shoulders ached.
His body, which had been all hunched up, straightened out with one stretch, making cracking bone sounds. Feeling auditory refreshment, Yeonwoo soon bent his two hands that had been gripping the steering wheel tightly, making more bone-cracking sounds.
“Stop it. You’ll hurt yourself.”
At Kang Dojun’s restraint, unable to listen any longer, Yeonwoo asked with sparkling eyes:
“I’m a best driver, right?”
He passed through the highway smoothly, successfully merged into traffic lightly, made U-turns while carefully checking surrounding cars. He slowly and safely navigated through the narrow alleys of the countryside.
“Yeah.”
Kang Dojun swept back his hair, which had some sweat despite the air conditioning being on.
Yeonwoo roughly shook his potato-short hair and headed home after a long time. As soon as he arrived, he flung open the locked front door.
“I’m home! Ah, today’s a weekday.”
He shouted loudly wondering if Cheolsu would be there like when he came with Shin Gihyeon, but when only his own voice echoed back, he became embarrassed remembering the forgotten fact.
Kang Dojun stood behind him and asked:
“Is someone here?”
“No. Cheolsu and his friend. When I’m not here, they spend weekends here. Today’s a weekday so they’re probably at the school dormitory.”
“……”
Kang Dojun was silent. Then he entered inside and surveyed the house. Despite being a house that had been empty for a long time, it was full of traces of life. For some reason, he didn’t like it.
“Tell them not to come.”
“Yes.”
Yeonwoo nodded without even asking why. He didn’t utter any of the yin and yang energy nonsense he had rambled about like excuses to Shin Gihyeon.
If he said not to do it, then not doing it was right. His standard for right and wrong was solely Kang Dojun.
Yeonwoo closed the front door and jumped like a frog onto his back. Of course, he didn’t have the jumping power of a frog, so his legs were still touching the ground as he barely lifted his heels and leaned his weight on him.
Kang Dojun caught the weight that had shifted forward and headed to the living room with Yeonwoo dangling from him. This was the place where high schooler Cheolsu spent weekends as his hideout. Even so, it somehow looked cleaner than during the “Rural Conquest” filming.
The current state of the house wasn’t clean either, but as someone who had witnessed a worse scene, he could say this sight was quite decent.
“Hyuuung, it’s been so long since we’ve been at my house.”
Yeonwoo drawled his words while wrapping his arms around Kang Dojun’s neck and waddling wherever he went.
“Yeah. But it’s a bit…”
“But a bit? Why?”
As expected, he was annoyed. Even though it was clearly Yeonwoo’s house, it was filled with traces of others, not his traces. He wanted to clean up these unfamiliar traces as quickly as possible.
“Let’s clean up first.”
“If you give me a kiss.”
Yeonwoo whined, bumping his soft lips against Kang Dojun’s nape that was exposed between his collar and hair.
As expected, his lover liked things clean. Cleaning was bothersome, but since hyung said to clean… Still, sharing affection a few times might give him energy.
Kang Dojun unwrapped Yeonwoo’s arms from around his neck and turned around to face him directly.
Yeonwoo, thinking of a light kiss, looked up at him and pushed his lips out.
Kang Dojun’s face gradually came closer.
First, he could see his own reflection in his pupils. Second, their noses bumped. He didn’t even twist his head and pressed hard with enough force to crush the bridge of his nose.
Since his nostrils were momentarily blocked, he slightly parted his lips to breathe through his mouth. Kang Dojun penetrated that gap.
With his upper lip caught on Kang Dojun’s philtrum, Yeonwoo’s lower lip was torn. Like a beast chewing and swallowing its prey, Kang Dojun bit down hard with force.
Not only the tender flesh inside his mouth but his entire lip line was completely chewed up. He momentarily tasted fishy blood.
It really hurt so much.
Even Yeonwoo, who rarely refused his demands, couldn’t endure the unbearable pain and let out a short syllable “Ying” through his teeth. He was definitely trying to say “hyung” but even that didn’t come out properly.
If he pulled his head back, it felt like his lower lip would be torn off, so he had no choice but to hang on.
As if tasting the blood, he licked the tender flesh of his wounded lower lip with his tongue tip, and licking Kang Dojun’s attached lips together was a bonus.
Whether Kang Dojun gained more momentum from this, he gripped Yeonwoo’s cheeks with his thick hands where knuckles were visible and applied strong force.
This created protruding fish lips that made it easier for Kang Dojun to chew more. Yeonwoo had no choice but to endure the pain while digging his nails firmly into his hands.
Had they been like this for a while? Kang Dojun slowly separated his attached body. Then he rubbed with his thumb the lips that were bleeding from his biting.
Suddenly his own hand came into view, wounded by Yeonwoo’s nails, and his brow twitched.
‘Did it hurt this much?’
Kang Dojun examined the wound he had bitten thoroughly and then caressed Yeonwoo’s cheek. The previously pure white cheek had reddened as if flushed from being pressed by his grip.
Yeonwoo licked his lower lip with his tongue and slightly frowned from the pain.
Having caused it himself, seeing Yeonwoo in pain brought belated regret in conflicting emotions.
“Did it hurt?”
“No.”
“Let me see.”
Yeonwoo pulled down his lower lip with his right hand. His even teeth, red gums, and the wounded area were all revealed.
Kang Dojun immediately moved to find ointment to apply inside his mouth. Yeonwoo once again stuck close to his back, wrapping his arms around his neck and leaning his body against him.
“It didn’t hurt.”
Kang Dojun clicked his tongue low. His pronunciation was unclear because his inner lip was injured. Acting like this and saying it doesn’t hurt…
Occasionally when he came to his senses, there would be Yeonwoo in front of him bleeding or with shallow wounds. Even while thinking he should restrain himself, at some point he would be acting as if leaving marks to prove that Yeonwoo was his.
Though it was already done, he just felt sorry for Yeonwoo who didn’t even show it hurt when it must have been painful at the time.
“You can say it hurts when it hurts.”
At Kang Dojun’s words, Yeonwoo rolled his eyes. Soon he pressed his crown against the area near his nape and rubbed his head as if acting spoiled.
“Actually it does hurt but it’s okay. I like anything hyung does.”
Kang Dojun made a “hmm” sound before soon asking:
“Even if I shave you bald?”
“If hyung thinks it’s pretty.”
“Even if I confine you?”
“As long as it’s not abandonment, right? Then it’s fine.”
Ha! A short laugh burst out. He curved his eye corners and drew a pretty arc at his lips. Anyone could see he was his. Even without deliberately carving marks, Yeonwoo was already declaring it with his whole body.
I’m hyung’s. I belong to Kang Dojun and no one else.
Yeonwoo subtly watched his mood and said carefully:
“Hyung, but. I want to play, can’t we clean later?”
Kang Dojun suddenly felt everything was futile. Even in this house full of traces of others rather than Yeonwoo, he felt heart-filling satisfaction. When what’s mine is here, what does the place matter?
“Yeah. Let’s do everything you want to do. After treating you first.”
“Awesome, then let’s go catch hornets with me.”
Even treating hornet-catching like some kind of date course, instead of anger, only laughter welled up.
Really, the place didn’t matter at all.
***
“Hyung, there’s one over there!”
At Yeonwoo’s shout, Kang Dojun stood in place and vigorously swung his hand. More precisely, the hand holding the insect net.
Is this right?
Yeonwoo ran over like lightning, checked the mesh of the insect net, and let out pure admiration.
Every time he spoke, his wounded lower lip seemed to hit his teeth, so his slow and careful speech was both pitiful and cute.
“Wow, it’s your first time but you’re really good at catching them. A honeybee got caught too, but this is fine… Hyung, you have talent.”
Then he stomped on it firmly with his sneakers and picked up the insect net again, carefully placing it in Kang Dojun’s hands.
…Is this right?
Kang Dojun tilted his head at the strangely flowing situation. The place really didn’t matter at all. As long as Yeonwoo was there. As long as his gaze stayed on him.
He never dreamed he’d feel jealous of hornets, not even people.
He thought hornet-catching was just casual talk about going to the apiary together.
At the very least, he thought they’d spend intimate time listening to the sound of bees’ wings flapping. Who knew they’d be engaging in hornet-catching so combatively.
Meanwhile, another hornet was captured in his field of vision.
No matter how many they caught, there was no end.
He began to somewhat understand Yeonwoo’s “fucking hornets, fucking.” Even for hornets specifically, let’s overlook the swearing, he resolved anew and swung his hand once more.
“Wow! Hyung, you’re really cool! How do you catch three hornets while standing in one spot?”
Looking at the round, gentle features packed tightly into his small face along with the exaggerated praise, he thought ‘this seems right.’
If catching just one hornet earned him various praises like cool, the best, number one contributor to beekeeping, hornet killer, hornet assassin, honeybee peace force, it was quite a decent equivalent exchange.
“Waaaahhh-!”
At that moment, a sudden scream made Kang Dojun look around frantically for the source of the sound in apparent confusion. But the owner was nowhere to be seen.
He wondered if some outsider had visited for sightseeing and fallen in the mountains or gotten lost.
“Yeonwoo.”
So he urgently called Yeonwoo. If someone was hurt, it would be right to go help, but his person came first.
He should evacuate Yeonwoo, who had been greatly hurt by outsiders many times, to somewhere else first…
Then Yeonwoo, who had been checking the beehives, calmly said:
“Ah, it’s just a roe deer. If we stay still, it’ll pass by, so we can ignore it.”
“…Roe deer?”
Kang Dojun blinked. Now even roe deer are appearing? …Is this right? It doesn’t seem right.
