Chapter 95
Mitchell’s hand, which had been moving slowly, stopped. His furrowed brow relaxed. He looked at me quietly. He seemed to be analyzing the meaning of what I had just said.
“You’re saying you didn’t choose Inbeom Yoon?”
“No. Absolutely not.”
I liked it when Mitchell smiled like that, with his lips curled up. That wonderful face, filled only with joy and happiness, was created because of me.
“I chose you, but not Inbeom Yoon. I told you. It’s different with you.”
Mitchell’s face dropped towards me as if plunging. Despite the completely mismatched position, his tongue moved diligently, showcasing its flexibility as it explored inside.
I was incredibly moved by Mitchell’s reaction. I hadn’t expected him to react so intensely to the fact that he was chosen by me.
Mitchell is someone who gets anxious when there are no people around him. I thought my sudden appearance in front of him was just an escape, but he was relying on me more than I thought. I hadn’t noticed because he didn’t show it outwardly.
The act of sucking and biting my tongue was gentle, careful, and sincere. I only now realized that even kissing could be this neat.
After kissing for so long that I could barely swallow properly, Mitchell raised his upper body, finishing by sucking on my lower lip.
It was just a tongue in my mouth, but it felt like my body was melting. In a completely languid state, I just stared at Mitchell in front of me. I didn’t want to do anything. Except look at Mitchell.
As if understanding my feelings completely, Mitchell gently caressed my chest and placed his hand on my stomach.
“Have you talked to Inbeom Yoon since then?”
“No.”
“Then, I guess that bastard still thinks your interest is valid?”
“That could be. But if he had any sense, wouldn’t he know that I’m not very pleased about it? I wonder why he’s doing this.”
“How could he? He’s the one parking in front of the house and watching you.”
“Wow. Mitchell. I think I’ve got a stalker. Ah, this is why popular people need to consistently manage their acquaintances. I guess this is the fate of a popular star.”
I muttered, looking up at the ceiling like a sage who had gained enlightenment. Then Mitchell, who couldn’t possibly understand my deep meaning, restrained me.
“Ah!”
He gripped my precious part tightly.
“Don’t get cheeky.”
I deserved to be scolded for babbling about being a popular star in front of Mitchell of all people.
“So what are you going to do about it?”
Mitchell wanted a definite solution, but I couldn’t think of anything. When I just blinked my eyes, Mitchell sighed softly and quietly began to speak.
“You said you first met that bastard at the gym after you came to America, right?”
“Yeah.”
“And you hadn’t contacted him before that.”
“No, I didn’t. He doesn’t even know my old contact info. When I first met Inbeom Yoon, I was just starting to visit the agency, saying I was going to be a celebrity. After my debut, I was so busy that we naturally lost contact. When I came to America, I completely changed my phone number.”
I continued speaking while wrapping my arms around Mitchell’s waist. It was an incredibly comfortable position.
“Then I saw him for the first time at the gym and we exchanged contact info. He was so happy to see me, saying what an incredible coincidence it was, and he kept bothering me the whole time.”
“Someone once persistently contacted me trying to buy this house.”
Mitchell suddenly brought up a different story.
“This house?”
“Yeah. When I said I wouldn’t sell, they offered twice the original price. When I still refused, they offered five times the price.”
“Oh? Wow.”
For a moment, I understood the feelings of people who make money in real estate. Thanks to choosing one good house, you could potentially sell it for five times the price.
“I told them I wasn’t interested even if they offered ten times the price. This was right after you caught the serial killer and appeared on TV. The day your face became known across America.”
I didn’t know what Mitchell was talking about, so I just listened quietly.
“Inbeom Yoon discovered you, who had disappeared somewhere, on TV. And in LA where he was residing… The person who tried to buy my house was Inbeom Yoon.”
“What?”
Surprised, I suddenly sat up.
“That guy was trying to buy this house to become your neighbor. He wanted to use the same private property and get along well with you, I guess.”
Goosebumps spread all over my body. What would have happened if Mitchell had been tempted by the money and sold this house? Would I have been with Inbeom Yoon instead of Mitchell?
No, that wouldn’t have happened. By then, my relationship with Mitchell had already started to deepen.
But even if my feelings were firm, Mitchell’s probably weren’t at that time. Yet he refused Inbeom Yoon’s offer. I was newly moved by Mitchell’s decision.
“He failed to become your neighbor when I refused. So I think he went to the gym directly. To meet you. That guy didn’t usually go to the gym, right?”
“The people at the gym seemed to know him for a long time though.”
“That’s because the gym belongs to that bastard.”
“The gym?”
“Yeah. The entire DK, including the gym.”
“Ah…”
The gym I used to go to ran an action school. It was both the DK Action School that gathered and trained stuntmen and the DK Agency.
DK not only trains stunt-specific actors and places them throughout films but also manages extras. A significant number of Hollywood bit players are affiliated with DK, so their influence was truly enormous.
Inbeom Yoon’s boast about having a lot of money wasn’t an exaggeration. Come to think of it, I vaguely remembered him bragging about his parents’ money.
“So, this bastard has been deceiving me and approaching me all along? It wasn’t a coincidence that we met at the gym.”
“That’s right.”
“He kept babbling about how repeated coincidences are fate or whatever. What an annoying guy.”
My face didn’t look too serious as I cursed him as an annoying guy. I buried my face in Mitchell’s chest to hide my emerging laughter. It was satisfying in its own way when his nipple touched my forehead.
I’m acting right now. Although I want to slap that bastard Inbeom Yoon, I’m about to get some help thanks to him.
Because now I can provoke Mitchell’s jealousy, who is seriously obsessed with me!
“Am I that good?”
I casually threw out a comment as if I didn’t understand. A high-level operation to make Mitchell angry and focus more attention on me had just begun.
***
“People just won’t leave me alone.”
Mitchell looked down at Geon-woo, who was muttering with his head on Mitchell’s chest. Geon-woo grumbled as if he was angry.
“Instead of this, should I go meet Inbeom Yoon? Ask him why he’s doing this to me? Or should I tell him I’m not interested anymore? Meeting him in person…”
“You want to meet him in person?”
When Mitchell lowered his voice, Geon-woo’s body flinched.
‘Got him!’
Mitchell’s voice was full of displeasure. Geon-woo, holding back his laughter, wriggled and burrowed between Mitchell’s legs. He hugged Mitchell’s body while never showing his face.
“To settle things once and for all. But that guy is pretty persistent. I don’t think he’ll back down easily. Ah, I’ve gotten myself into trouble.”
Originally, Mitchell had no intention of telling Geon-woo about Inbeom Yoon. There was nothing good about Geon-woo knowing about his stalker-like behavior. He thought it might unnecessarily make Geon-woo anxious.
However, he learned that Inbeom Yoon had been the object of Geon-woo’s obsession for a day, or rather a few hours.
Geon-woo’s obsession goes beyond normal boundaries. Regardless of who suggested it first, Mitchell couldn’t just stand by and watch, so he revealed all of Inbeom Yoon’s actions as a warning.
He needed to root it out completely. He had to make Geon-woo aware of how insane Inbeom Yoon was. If left alone because of an old connection, he was the type of guy who could do anything.
In fact, Geon-woo doesn’t care about the morality of his obsession targets. As can be easily seen with his brother, Bae Junman.
Even if Inbeom Yoon is a problematic person, it has nothing to do with Geon-woo’s obsession. Nevertheless, Mitchell exposed Inbeom Yoon’s misdeeds. He revealed in detail what kind of person he was.
It might not hurt to be hit on the head with a cotton hammer, but it would be annoying if it continued.
Mitchell intended to keep all events happening around Geon-woo and all people Geon-woo contacts under his control. If Geon-woo’s obsession was a reckless breakthrough type, Mitchell’s obsession was a bit more systematic and cautious.
An intentional thought to block Geon-woo’s surroundings and leave no one by his side. No one would curse it as selfish. Because Geon-woo would want it more. He’s the type who would beg for it to be done.
Now this Geon-woo is trying to break through the well-built wall. It’s not enough to thoroughly lock the door and build the wall higher, but suddenly he’s acting in the opposite way.
Although the days spent with Geon-woo weren’t long, Mitchell knew that Geon-woo wasn’t the type to weigh himself against others.
So Geon-woo must be plotting something now. And it’s a cute and childish scheme.
“So you’re saying you want to meet him in person?”
“Yeah.”
“Why?”
“Just to see his face…”
“Didn’t you say it’s not two people?”
“Two people?”
“I thought you said there’s only one person you’re obsessed with?”
“Ah…”
“Your ‘one person’ is obviously me, right?”
Giggle.
Mitchell heard it. The laughter of the guy who had his face buried in Mitchell’s chest.
