Chapter 88
Distracted by Mitchell’s sudden appearance and enjoying the kiss, Geon-woo had missed the timing to ask questions. At the end of their naturally flowing conversation, he finally brought up the main point.
“He was speaking Korean? He said he loves you, right?”
Belated anger flared up as intensely as the recent kiss. Geon-woo asked, trying to appear calm. He naturally expected Mitchell to say it was nothing.
Of course, the word “love” was quite concerning for it to be nothing.
“Why? Is he not allowed to say that?”
Mitchell, betraying Geon-woo’s expectations, bluntly said something typically offensive in his characteristic way.
“……”
Because of this, lightning struck Geon-woo’s head. The world came crashing down noisily.
Geon-woo, who had been secretly relieved when Mitchell appeared, could only stare blankly at his collapsing world with his mouth open.
A sweet lollipop flew into Geon-woo’s mouth.
“Mmph!”
Mitchell inserted his finger into Geon-woo’s open mouth. As the longest third finger entered, Geon-woo’s tongue, which had been idle like its owner, spasmed in response.
Mitchell grabbed Geon-woo’s nape with his other hand to prevent him from escaping. Of course, Geon-woo had no intention of running away.
“Uh, mmm.”
Although he felt awkward sucking on the finger and glanced at Mitchell, Geon-woo didn’t push away Mitchell who had entered him. He gladly accepted what was given, whether above or below.
Then Mitchell roughly stroked Geon-woo’s head. Geon-woo felt as if Mitchell’s finger was like his lower member.
“Are you angry that someone else said such things to me?”
Mitchell asked, looking down at Geon-woo who was eagerly sucking his finger.
“I’m angry.”
Although his pronunciation was muffled by the finger in his mouth, the emotion in his words was clearly conveyed. Mitchell raised the corners of his mouth deeply and said something ambiguous.
“Keep being angry.”
Geon-woo frowned, not understanding the meaning. He continued sucking the finger with loud sounds, focusing only on Mitchell’s sparkling eyes.
Then Mitchell kissed Geon-woo’s lips. He sucked on the lips that were holding his finger, then removed the finger. Mitchell’s tongue entered in its place.
Although Mitchell told him to keep being angry, Geon-woo couldn’t possibly be angry like this. Moreover, the story that followed washed away all his unpleasant feelings.
“Alex Kim, he’s my Korean language teacher.”
Mitchell, pulling his face away, explained about the mysterious man.
“…Korean language teacher?”
Not a hidden lover, and certainly not a friends-with-benefits. He said teacher. Geon-woo, feeling as if his chest had been cleared out, quickly grabbed Mitchell’s hand. He fiddled with the large hand while listening to the rest of Mitchell’s story.
“I’m trying to learn some Korean.”
Mitchell had decided to learn Korean quite a while ago. Naturally, it started because of Geon-woo.
He became interested because it was the country where Geon-woo was born, and he wanted to learn his mother tongue. The decisive reason was Geon-woo’s habit of talking to himself.
Peculiarly, Geon-woo often talked to himself. It was interesting, but Mitchell thought it might just be a Korean thing and didn’t think much of it.
However, sometimes Geon-woo would talk to himself in Korean instead of English. Although it was rare enough to count on one hand, Mitchell was very curious about the meaning.
When they were together, there was no need to use Korean, so it wasn’t urgent. That’s why he leisurely studied, memorizing words on his tablet. Since he wanted to learn Korean without Geon-woo knowing, he couldn’t study openly. Mitchell wanted to learn secretly and eavesdrop on Geon-woo’s self-talk.
It was for the small pleasure of getting to know Geon-woo better, but the situation changed rapidly.
For various reasons, the need to know Korean increased. Among them, the most urgent was the audio file Walker brought.
It contained a recorded conversation between Geon-woo and Inbeom Yoon in front of the house. Walker, hiding nearby, had secretly recorded their conversation using a recorder, but they spoke only in Korean.
There were a few words that made him hesitant to ask someone who knew Korean for interpretation.
Mitchell’s name, second house, and gay.
It felt uncomfortable to have someone listen without knowing the content.
He tried using voice translation apps, but due to the distance of the recording and some words being cut off, the important parts weren’t properly translated.
He thought he needed to study it himself. It was a language he was planning to learn anyway. Having made up his mind, Mitchell immediately hired a private Korean language tutor.
He paid more than twice the industry average rate, in exchange for the tutor adjusting to Mitchell’s preferred times and studying only as much as he wanted.
Geon-woo had caught on to this.
“Hey, Mitchell… I’m Korean, you know? You could learn from me.”
Geon-woo asked why he sought another teacher when he had a free Korean teacher right in front of him.
“Did you think I couldn’t teach well?”
Suddenly, it occurred to him that Mitchell might prefer to learn from a professional teacher.
“Learn from me. I’m really good at teaching people.”
Just knowing that the mysterious man wasn’t in a special relationship with Mitchell filled Geon-woo’s voice with joy.
“I was trying to study without you knowing.”
“Without me knowing? Why?”
“Well… to surprise you. It’s also part of your birthday gift for next year.”
Mitchell said whatever came to mind. Seeing Geon-woo’s lips twitch, it seemed like a decent excuse.
“Then, that handsome Korean guy and you are nothing? Just a teacher?”
For a moment, Geon-woo regretted mentioning that the man was handsome.
“Of course, just a teacher. Did you think he was a hidden lover or something?”
“Yeah.”
What an honest answer. Mitchell laughed, making a deflating sound, and brushed back Geon-woo’s messy bangs. His clear forehead was revealed briefly before being covered again by his hair. Mitchell was pleased by Geon-woo’s display of jealousy.
“The handsome Korean is you. I haven’t seen anyone more handsome than you lately.”
At this, Geon-woo’s long eyelashes fluttered like butterflies. They quietly danced at Mitchell’s compliment.
Feeling somewhat embarrassed for some reason, Geon-woo gently scratched Mitchell’s thigh with his fingertips. Unable to bear Mitchell’s intense gaze, he focused on tormenting his thigh.
It felt like touching a rock, so he searched for something softer. He pressed his finger firmly on the bulge between Mitchell’s legs.
What’s this? Even that place, which he thought would be soft, was hard. As expected of Mitchell.
“Just a moment, I need to make a call.”
Mitchell, who hadn’t said much, immediately called Alex. Geon-woo, just nodding his head vaguely, played around by pressing firmly on Mitchell’s hard spot.
The disappearance of an unknown anxiety and the feeling of regaining peace thrilled Geon-woo immensely. He had reclaimed something that should rightfully be his. He thought he was about to lose it to the black-haired person who appeared out of nowhere.
‘Thank goodness.’
Geon-woo eavesdropped on the call while rubbing Mitchell’s increasingly bulging crotch.
“…Yes. I’m sorry. Something suddenly came up… Yes. I don’t think tomorrow will work, I’ll contact you again within this week… Yes. Thank you.”
The call didn’t take long. As Mitchell lowered his head after hanging up, Geon-woo immediately spoke.
“Introduce me next time.”
Mitchell asked in a nonchalant tone, looking at Geon-woo’s hand actively moving between his thighs.
“Who? Alex?”
“Yeah.”
“Why?”
“Since he’s someone by your side, I should naturally get to know him.”
“What if you fall for him? You said he was handsome.”
“Mitchell, I think this is the ten millionth time I’m saying this. I’m not interested in men.”
“Then should I switch to a female teacher?”
“Stop testing me. I’m telling you, I have no intention of finding a lover. This is just perfect.”
“…Okay.”
“Let’s go home now.”
Geon-woo started the car immediately, seeing no need for further discussion. Although he had been agonizing for days, clearing up the misunderstanding made his heart much lighter.
Still, the uneasy feeling hadn’t completely disappeared. He felt jealous of the fact that Mitchell met Alex alone and conversed in Korean.
As he felt a small corner of his heart bubbling with jealousy, Mitchell’s hand wrapped around Geon-woo’s nape. Thanks to this, the jealousy flew away and the resentment disappeared.
“Did you look at the script?”
Now that he had joined the company to make a movie, he needed to start preparing in earnest. Mitchell planned to pre-screen the scripts coming to Geon-woo. He intended to remove any parts he didn’t like before they reached Geon-woo’s hands. Of course, Geon-woo wouldn’t know about this.
“Yeah, they showed me a few. They were good. But they’re not officially for me yet. I’ll have to carefully check the scripts that come in from now on. They said they’d let me know if there are any good auditions too.”
“Great. You’ll do well.”
“Why, why are you like this? It’s embarrassing. Want me to suck you off?”
At this, Mitchell laughed out loud.
“Do you think I pounce on you every time I see you?”
“Yeah. I thought so.”
“I can also distinguish between time and place… Ah, I guess I can’t.”
This time, Geon-woo laughed loudly. They exchanged silly jokes and soon arrived at the private road in front of their house.
“Want to go to the supermarket? Let’s cook something.”
When Mitchell, who had been looking at his phone, suddenly said this, Geon-woo turned the steering wheel without hesitation. After leaving the private road and buying various things at a nearby supermarket, they approached the private road again when Mitchell spoke.
“Stop for a moment.”
This time too, Mitchell was looking at his phone.
