# Chapter 74
“Ha-min, is it because you were a Guide? You must still have some Guiding ability left.”
“Why?”
I looked at him as I heard his voice.
“Because when I’m with you, I feel stable too.”
“Eunwoo, your wavelength is always stable, though. It never spikes… oh, no. Actually, it does.”
“It does? When?”
At first, I was arguing the same point, but when Ha-min, who had confidently denied it, said that, I became curious about when it happened.
“When you’re with Cha Yoon the Esper.”
Then he burst into laughter.
“Ah, I’ll admit that. When I’m with that guy, my anger gauge explodes.”
“Yeah. Anyone who sees you can tell that.”
I closed my eyes while watching him laugh.
His laughter appeared vividly in my mind.
“I feel like I know everything now, Ha-min. I can see you even with my eyes closed.”
“Look at me anyway.”
With my eyes closed, it grew darker before me.
He had come closer.
And soon I felt Ha-min’s lips.
From my forehead to my eyes, from the bridge of my nose to my cheeks.
Then to my chin and ears before returning to my lips, where they lingered.
The way he caressed my cheeks was so tender and gentle that it felt like my heart was melting.
I don’t know when they were removed, but my clothes had piled up on the floor.
I hurriedly undressed Ha-min too.
Why is it that I never tire of his body?
Why doesn’t the feeling of boredom apply to him?
He lightly bit my shoulder, causing his soft hair to cascade down.
I felt extremely peaceful while simultaneously panting.
The anticipation of the satisfaction that only he could give me gradually made my breathing heavier.
Warm hands stroked my waist before pulling me into an embrace.
Staggering, I clung to him and looked at him.
His lips caught my attention.
Those were the lips that told me he loved me.
I dived into those red, deep-desire-dampened lips and savored them.
I wanted to say I loved him too, but it was awkward and embarrassing.
Not wanting my words to float in the air shamefully, I kissed him and murmured against his lips.
“I love you.”
It wasn’t even audible, just a whisper carried on my breath.
Yet Ha-min’s body seemed to stiffen momentarily, as if he had heard it.
Finally pulling away from me, he asked.
“Eunwoo… what did you just say?”
For some reason, I couldn’t look at him.
Was it such a difficult thing to say that my heart had pounded like this when I heard those words before?
“Eunwoo, can you say it again?”
Ha-min asked with an expression like he owned the world.
“No. If you didn’t hear it, too bad.”
“But… I did hear it. I did…”
He looked like he was about to shout with joy.
I could imagine how happy he felt.
“You. Really?”
“Yes. Did you think I’d be Guiding you this enthusiastically if I didn’t like you?”
“You’re a Guide, so you have to do it anyway.”
Ha-min was like this sometimes.
What he said wasn’t wrong, but he had a knack for making precise yet unnecessary comments that created an awkward atmosphere.
He was doing it now too.
“But I wouldn’t have to go this far, right? The stabilizers are pretty well developed now, and the S-class Espers can stabilize wavelengths before they reach dangerous levels. And I’m an S-class Guide. Most things stabilize without me having to go this far.”
He probably knew it too.
That I was right.
Ha-min, who had been holding me infinitely gently, laid me down before I realized what was happening.
Countless kisses poured down, and I was buried in hot desire, not knowing if I was Guiding him or if he was Guiding me.
What was certain was that he was my savior.
And that was enough.

As I lay there feeling a satisfying ache, Ha-min gazed at me, brushing my hair back and caressing my cheeks, clearly adoring me.
Today, this time lasted quite long.
Just as I was wondering if he had something to tell me, he finally spoke.
“Eunwoo, you know.”
“Hmm?”
“You’re a Guide. So I’m telling you this.”
I wondered what was so difficult for him to say.
“As a Guide, emergencies can happen. Of course, I know you’re an S-class Guide and situations requiring mucous membrane Guiding rarely occur, but later, S-class Espers could get seriously injured. When that time comes, don’t hesitate. It’s Guiding.”
“…”
“Just in case you might feel burdened.”
I’ve never felt burdened.
Because I didn’t think that would happen.
And I won’t let it happen.
“Well… thank you.”
I wasn’t really thankful, but I said it anyway since he probably wanted me not to feel uncomfortable if such a situation arose.
“But you worry too much, Ha-min.”
“I know. I don’t think I was like this originally.”
“Really? I think you were like this from the beginning.”
I told him exactly how he appeared when I first saw him.
At some point, I was so focused on that that I forgot Ha-min was looking at me strangely.
“…Why?”
“Was that the first time?”
At his words, I looked at him, wondering what he meant.
“What do you mean?”
“You said that’s how I was when you first saw me. But you must have seen me before that, right?”
“…Huh?”
“That wasn’t the first time.”
Ha-min smiled as he said this.
He seemed to remember meeting Seo Eunwoo before I entered Seo Eunwoo’s body—when I wasn’t yet Seo Eunwoo.
“Ah. Ah… you’re right.”
I brushed it off vaguely and got up.
“I should wash up now. The S-class Espers probably haven’t even had time to rest. Everyone must be busy, right? Have they finished forming teams? Are we becoming the scout team now? Are you ready? Are you confident?”
“Of course. Now that I’m energized again, I need to go use my strength.”
Fortunately, Ha-min didn’t seem to dwell on that topic for long.
Even if he thought about it, he probably couldn’t imagine that I was a person from another world.
That day, our schedule started much earlier than usual.
We received a message from Shim Woo-jin asking us to check the unconquered dungeons with Ha-min.
Such messages usually came from Kyun In, but he seemed busy with other matters.
After hurrying Ha-min to get ready quickly, we went out to find a group of Espers urgently heading to the main conference room.
“Looks like we took our time.”
“Yeah.”
Realizing they had been lenient with us because of Guiding, we stopped by the situation room first.
The number of unconquered dungeons was the same as yesterday, and after hearing that no special signs had appeared in the meantime, we headed to where the dungeons were located.
There was nothing special, and as we had discussed the previous day, it was a simple task of identifying the monsters in the dungeon, formulating tactics, and relaying them.
“I think we were too tense yesterday. Actually, it doesn’t seem like a big deal. Right?”
I nodded at Ha-min’s words.
That was exactly what I had been thinking.
“When we return to the Center, we should check if dungeons appearing in other countries have changed too. It doesn’t seem like this would only happen here. We should also figure out if this is part of a process of change.”
“Yeah. We’re going to be busy for a while.”
While going there, Ha-min drove, and I shared my thoughts from the passenger seat.
When I suggested we should think about finding unregistered Espers and assigning dungeons to them, Ha-min agreed it was a good idea and said that the Special Task Force should take the lead on that.
Although he had spent a lot of time helping with training, he was the Special Task Force leader, and when the role of the Special Task Force was needed, he had to prioritize it.
The main reason I started thinking about unregistered Espers was that the number of high-level Espers was limited, which restricted the teams we could form.
It wasn’t just our responsibility to ensure Central’s safety, and I thought it was unfair that while we risked our lives to protect Central, unregistered Espers enjoyed peaceful daily lives without taking any risks.
My risk-taking was certainly not to let unregistered Espers live comfortably.
Ha-min agreed with me on this, and he said that once the unconquered dungeons were conquered, we should start focusing on that work in earnest.
We returned to the Center, but it took time to meet with the S-class Espers.
Everyone was so busy that it was difficult to meet even after a long while.
I newly realized how important their positions were and how many people’s safety depended on them.
And we were also responsible for the safety of many people.
I hadn’t intended to live this diligently, but here I was in my sister’s novel doing all this.
The first person we were able to see was Byun Tae-young.
He looked much more haggard in just a day.
As soon as he saw us, he asked if we had finished searching the dungeons and listened to our account.
After explaining and mentioning the unregistered Espers, his face brightened.
“Ah, right. Those people. And I forgot about Topaz. We should assign dungeons to Topaz too. There’s no need to delay assigning to Topaz. We’ll tell them to handle one of the remaining dungeons, and if they refuse, they should leave Central.”
At first, it seemed like a stream of consciousness, but then it started to make sense.
