How to Act in a Depraved Guideverse Novel Side Story 4-2

“Wife.”

When Eun-jo turned his head, he saw Lee Sang-heon wearing nothing but a towel around his waist.

“Wife, um…?”

Between the mess of silver hair, a dazed expression peeked through. His eyes slowly swept over every inch of skin visible above the swimsuit before his lips pressed tightly together.

Then suddenly, he yanked off his towel.

The massive thing dangling below sprang free, and Eun-jo screamed.

“Lee Sang-heon, you…!”

“You’ll get cold dressed like that.”

In an instant, Lee Sang-heon hoisted Eun-jo over his shoulder like a sack of rice and headed downstairs. The sudden shift in height made Eun-jo kick his feet frantically.

Always getting hurt at the slightest thing. His Guide was way too careless. It wasn’t like he had fur like himself, and yet he was planning to get into water while wearing only a scrap of fabric.

“Lee Sang-heon!”

Still struggling, Eun-jo was finally set down inside Lee Sang-heon’s room. Then Lee Sang-heon pulled out every piece of clothing he could find—T-shirts, cardigans, everything—and wrapped them all around Eun-jo.

Lee Sang-heon stared down at Eun-jo, who’d become a little snowman bundled in layers of clothes.

Only then did a satisfied smile appear on his face.

“You don’t have fur, wife.”

The words Eun-jo had been about to snap back died in his throat.

Right now, fur…

Without thinking, Eun-jo looked down.

He really didn’t have any. His entire family line had inherited sparse body hair, so his legs and everything below were smooth. Pressing his legs together, Eun-jo looked back at Lee Sang-heon.

“Cute.”

Unable to resist those pouting lips, Lee Sang-heon clung to him affectionately.

“If there’s none down there or up here, you’ll get cold.”

“……”

“You can’t get sick.”

Kiss, kiss—his lips landed everywhere from Eun-jo’s cheeks to his mouth. Since Lee Sang-heon genuinely looked worried, it was impossible to get angry. Letting out a soft groan, Eun-jo hugged the oversized dog.

“So you covered me with clothes instead? Instead of fur?”

Rubbing his face against Eun-jo’s shoulder, Lee Sang-heon obediently nodded.

“But if I get into the pool wearing all this, it’ll just get wetter and colder.”

“Cold?”

“Yeah.”

Pulling away the clothes piled over him, Eun-jo continued,

“If I get cold, I’ll tell you. You can hug me later.”

Lee Sang-heon, who’d been nuzzling him, suddenly lifted his head. Like a puppy hearing the word walk, his eyes sparkled.

His ears emerged through his hair, and slowly, he transformed into a dog. Bark! Letting out a tiny bark, he grabbed Eun-jo’s clothes in his mouth and violently shook his head side to side.

In an instant, all the clothes were flung away. Lee Sang-heon jumped excitedly. His round paw smacked against the swimsuit.

“I have to wear this though?”

Growling lowly, he bit at the swimsuit bottoms hard enough to nearly rip them apart. Seeing the fabric stretch, Eun-jo shrieked.

“Lee Sang-heon!”

“Bark bark! Bark!”

It was a peaceful vacation.

Park Se-yul was acting strange.

Even while everyone gathered for lunch to grill barbecue together and spent the evening playing in the pool, Park Se-yul never appeared once. No one knew what he was doing in his room, but they barely even caught a glimpse of him the entire time.

There’s no way…

Floating lazily on an inner tube, Eun-jo lifted his head. The window directly ahead belonged to the room where Park Se-yul had unpacked.

“Is work really that busy?”

“Just leave him alone.”

Drifting leisurely through the pool while holding onto Lee Sang-heon’s perked-up ears, Jung Tae-seok answered casually.

“A guy who spends all day touching water and ice probably isn’t going to enjoy a swimming pool.”

“But he could at least eat lunch with us…”

Staring at Eun-jo’s drooping lips, Jung Tae-seok patted his head.

“Stop worrying and have fun. That’s what he wants.”

Still, it was supposed to be a vacation they’d all come on together.

Quietly staring at the window, Eun-jo eventually ducked his head underwater.

Cool coldness wrapped all the way around him. It felt cold and icy like Park Se-yul’s touch.

Just as he replayed the look on Park Se-yul’s face from earlier, strong arms wrapped around his waist.

Effortlessly lifting Eun-jo out of the water, Heo Nan-gyeom set him atop the edge of the pool.

“Your body’s already cold, Yeo Eun-jo-ssi.”

As carefully as though handling something precious, Heo Nan-gyeom took Eun-jo’s foot into his hands. The tiny toes were completely drained of color.

“Don’t stay in too long.”

“I was only in there for a second…”

“You get cold easily too. Didn’t you ask someone to hug you this morning?”

Before he even finished speaking, Jung Tae-seok sprinted over from the far end of the pool. He moved so quickly water sprayed everywhere around him.

“What? Asked someone to hug you?”

Reaching Eun-jo, Jung Tae-seok whipped around toward him.

“Yeo Eun-jo. You’re the one who said not to stick to you because it’s hot.”

This was the same Eun-jo who would squirm away to the corner of the bed claiming arm pillows and arms around his waist were too sticky and hot. Every single time, Jung Tae-seok had to stare at the skin revealed beneath Eun-jo’s pajamas and desperately repeat patience, patience, patience to himself. Yeo Eun-jo had no idea.

“You kept saying it was too hot.”

“……”

“You said you couldn’t sleep because it was so hot.”

“I didn’t say it that seriously…”

Remembering how he’d glared at the back of Eun-jo’s head all through the previous night made Jung Tae-seok’s chest feel like it would explode.

“I even took out the damn electric blanket, and this is what happens?!”

This is what happens?

As Eun-jo pouted, Jung Tae-seok let out a disbelieving laugh and splashed pool water toward him. Splash! Water sprayed straight at Eun-jo. But suddenly, a cardigan flew in from somewhere and blocked him. Splash! The cardigan absorbed the water instead.

Not feeling the cold splash, Eun-jo cautiously opened the eyes he’d squeezed shut. Floating in midair before him was a beige cardigan.

There was only one person here capable of making objects float.

“So unfortunate that you didn’t know he gets cold easily.”

Jin Mu-seong, reclining on a sunbed, lowered his fingertips. Water dripped from the cardigan onto Jung Tae-seok’s face. Droplets rolled down along his jawline.

“That fucking lunatic…”

“Next time, come ask me directly. I’ll tell you what he likes and dislikes.”

The atmosphere was so tense it felt like even breathing too loudly would make it explode. The longer the silence dragged on, the more visibly twisted Jung Tae-seok’s expression became.

No matter what happened, they absolutely couldn’t destroy the mood here. If they did, their precious vacation would be over.

Growing anxious, Eun-jo grabbed Jung Tae-seok’s hand. Sharp waves matching his mood traveled through the point where they touched.

“It was because it was hot…”

“What?”

Jung Tae-seok’s eyebrows shot up. At the same time, Eun-jo could feel Jin Mu-seong’s gaze from the sunbed. Squeezing his eyes shut, Eun-jo whispered,

“It’s because that was too intense… so I said it was hot.”

As he gently soothed him by letting energy flow through their joined hands, the raging waves gradually settled.

“It’s hot when I’m with you.”

“……”

“Can’t you tell because I don’t even use blankets? It’s really because it’s hot, what am I supposed to do…”

At that exact moment, Eun-jo’s body floated up into the air.

“Uwah!”

Before he could even blink, he was on the sunbed. Sitting astride Jin Mu-seong’s thighs with his legs spread, Eun-jo lost his balance and collapsed forward.

Jin Mu-seong looked down at him as Eun-jo practically poured himself against his broad chest. His gaze was affectionate, yet strangely sharp.

“I think it’s time for a different excuse now, sweetheart.”

Tilting Eun-jo’s chin upward diagonally, forcing eye contact, he added,

“Then why were you cold when you were with me, hm?”

“……”

How the hell would I know?!

Instead of saying that aloud, Eun-jo’s eyes rolled around frantically. To begin with, the whole “it’s hot with Jung Tae-seok” thing had been made up.

I was just trying to survive!

There were too many times he’d get all touchy while cuddling Eun-jo and suddenly catch fire. On days like that, Eun-jo couldn’t escape the bed until lunchtime, and it had only been about a month since he’d started sleeping at the very edge of the bed thinking he might genuinely die at this rate.

“Was my question difficult?”

Noticing Eun-jo’s thoughts drifting elsewhere, Jin Mu-seong tightened his grip on his chin.

“Hm?”

The corners of his eyes curved teasingly. Judging by the playful look there, he probably wasn’t expecting a real answer.

He probably just wanted Eun-jo to do something cute.

Letting out a soft groan, Eun-jo obediently melted against him like he wanted. Then, in a voice too quiet for Jung Tae-seok to hear, he whispered,

“I sleep really well in your arms.”

“……Haha.”

“Happy now?”

Still leaning against his chest, Eun-jo tilted his head up with a pout.

“Satisfied?”

“Quite.”

From behind them came the sound of hurried footsteps and someone yelling, “Hyung!”

Jung Tae-seok grabbed one of Eun-jo’s arms while Lee Sang-heon seized the other.

Unlike how he’d used his abilities to pull Eun-jo over in the first place, Jin Mu-seong surrendered him easily now. His attitude practically said he’d already seen all the cute behavior he wanted.

Sitting there with his legs loosely crossed, he lit a cigar. Calmly bringing it to his lips, he watched Eun-jo being dragged away.

“Now that you’re hot, I guess you can go back in.”

“You fucking—”

Dragged back into the pool, Eun-jo reached desperately toward him. Instead of taking his hand, Jin Mu-seong simply waved the cigar he held.

Splash!

Beyond the spray of water, Eun-jo briefly saw a window.

And for just a moment, it looked like Park Se-yul was standing there.

***

Even after dinner, Park Se-yul still hadn’t appeared. Eun-jo had even gone all the way to his door, but inside was so silent it felt completely empty.

At that point, there was no way Eun-jo couldn’t worry.

Something’s weird.

Lying on the bed, Eun-jo rolled over. Park Se-yul’s face floated across the ceiling in his mind.

He’s been different ever since we got here.

Right. Normally, Park Se-yul wouldn’t care where they were or who else was around—he would’ve grabbed Eun-jo by the nape and dragged him into the bedroom immediately. Then he probably would’ve smacked his ass for wearing a swimsuit without permission.

Just imagining the pain from those large hands made heat spread low in his stomach. Like Pavlov’s dog, pain now triggered pleasure too. Most of the time, the pleasure was even stronger.

Thinking about lying over Park Se-yul’s lap with his ass raised obscenely while being spanked made Eun-jo swallow hard.

This can’t keep going.

Climbing out of bed, Eun-jo stepped onto the floor. Conveniently, everyone else had left the villa to explore the island.

Back when he’d first arrived here, maybe things would’ve been different—but now Eun-jo knew exactly how to make Park Se-yul come out.

And it was something Eun-jo was best at.

Deliberately walking slowly enough for his footsteps to echo, Eun-jo stopped in front of Park Se-yul’s door.

Knock knock.

After knocking, he steadied his breathing.

“Team Leader.”

The room remained silent.

Knocking once more, Eun-jo shifted anxiously in place. Then he tightly clenched the hem of the T-shirt he was wearing.

“T-Team Leader. Are you asleep?”

“……”

“I…”

Mixing shame, embarrassment, and helplessness into his voice, Eun-jo whispered softly. The moment a small whimper escaped him—the door suddenly swung open.

Park Se-yul, dressed in just a T-shirt, looked down at him. His gaze meticulously swept over Eun-jo’s flushed cheeks, reddened lips, and even his tightly pressed thighs. His expression twisted strangely.

“What.”

Biting his lip tightly, Eun-jo lowered his head. Instead of looking at Park Se-yul, he gripped the hem of his own shirt harder.

“…I need to use the bathroom.”

“……”

Silently, Park Se-yul stared down at him. Under that cold gaze, Eun-jo slowly continued.

“I came to try but… ah, it won’t come out…”

Every time they spent the night together, Park Se-yul inserted a plug into his urethra. After blocking him from urinating, he’d make Eun-jo crawl around begging desperately to be allowed to pee before finally taking him to the bathroom.

After repeating that urination training over and over, there were times Eun-jo genuinely couldn’t pee properly without him there. Whenever that happened, he had no choice but to knock on Park Se-yul’s door.

Whether it was dawn or morning.

Even if he’d been lying in someone else’s arms, he still came looking for Park Se-yul.

Of course, half the time it was a lie so he could get his ass smacked.

Looking up at him with pleading eyes, Eun-jo watched Park Se-yul let out a low sigh.

“Go try again yourself. Not now.”

He firmly refused and started closing the door. But Eun-jo quickly grabbed his sleeve.

“No. Right now… ngh… please.”

Pulling him closer, Park Se-yul came easily.

Kneeling exactly the way Park Se-yul had taught him, Eun-jo lowered his face between his legs.

“Team Leader, ngh… I wanna pee…”

“……”

“I-I can’t. You made me like this, Team Leader.”

Looking up from below, he rubbed his cheek against Park Se-yul’s thigh. The moment Eun-jo grabbed at the waistband of his pants with his other hand, a low groan escaped from above him.

“…You go out to have fun and suddenly you stop listening worth a damn.”
