“So what are you curious about? Hmm?”
Dohyeon asked in a suggestive voice. Dain fidgeted with his fingers for a moment before looking at the baby nestled in Dohyeon’s arms. Come to think of it, he wondered if this was appropriate to discuss in front of such a young baby.
“Oh, but is it okay to talk about this in front of the baby?”
“It’s fine, he’s sleeping now and won’t wake up for at least an hour. And we can just talk quietly!”
“Well, sorry to trouble you, but please help me out, Dohyeon.”
“Hehe, don’t worry! Just tell me what you’re curious about. I’ll tell you everything from A to Z.”

Dain’s ears turned red at Dohyeon’s words as he gave an awkward “I-I see” in response. If the modest Juho had come along, he would have been shocked by such an open mind.
Feeling his throat go dry, Dain took a sip of the vanilla latte he’d ordered.
Dohyeon had thought Dain would have already been thoroughly ravished by Juho. Because of that, he hadn’t expected to be asked about such basics.
Dain omitted detailed explanations about Juho’s physical condition. That was Juho’s personal matter, and wanting to know the solution was Dain’s own will.
While Dohyeon was feeling puzzled about Dain and Juho’s platonic romance, Dain once again asked him for advice.

“Things to prepare…! Got it. Can you tell me in detail?”
Dain hardened his expression as if he wouldn’t miss a single word and began listening to Dohyeon’s lecture.
He broke out in cold sweat at some of the overly explicit expressions. However, since he wouldn’t be able to hear such useful talk if not now, Dain’s concentration didn’t waver even slightly.

Startled, Dain quickly took off his shoes and checked on Juho. Juho’s face was pale white and his eyes were red and swollen. It looked like thick teardrops would fall at any moment if touched even slightly.
“J-Juho! Get up, does it hurt somewhere? Why are you crouched like this??”
Dain reached out his hand to Juho. His intention was to help him out of the uncomfortable position first. However, Juho just stared up at Dain without any thought of taking the extended hand.
Dain quickly crouched down in front of him at Juho’s strange behavior.
“What’s wrong, Juho? Hm?”
“I thought you weren’t coming back.”
“Huh?”
“I thought hyung wasn’t coming back.”
“Me?”
“Yes.”
“Why, why? I told you I was going to meet Dohyeon and come back. Why wouldn’t I come back?”
Dain asked back, not understanding what Juho meant.
He had clearly said he was going to meet Dohyeon, and while he was a bit later than expected, it wasn’t late enough to think he wouldn’t come home at all.
Seeing Dain with such an innocent face and wide eyes made flames seem to rise from within Juho.
Just what kind of conversation could have been so interesting to take this long? Maybe he had even forgotten that he was waiting at home.
Only bad thoughts led to more bad thoughts. As the waiting time grew longer, his heart pounded and he felt anxious, but strangely he couldn’t move. He just didn’t want to move even a single step until Dain came in.

Dain quickly caught Juho’s arm. However, trying to catch Juho only with his right side, excluding his cast left arm, caused Dain’s body to be pulled toward Juho instead.

With a loud sound like something collapsing, both of them tumbled to the floor. If Juho hadn’t pulled Dain and cushioned him underneath at the moment of falling, the impact would have been big enough that Dain might have needed a cast on his right hand too.

“Yeah, I’m fine. Can you get up?”
“Yes. I’m okay.”
Due to the physical impact, Juho felt his previously dazed mind becoming clearer instead.

Juho let out a sigh of relief and gently stroked the hair of Dain, who was lying on top of him.
Dain rolled his eyes to examine Juho’s face. Although they had fallen, he looked better than when he was crouched earlier.
Come to think of it, Dain thought Juho might be feeling anxious because of what happened at the hospital. Juho usually liked being close to Dain anyway. However, he wasn’t normally hysterical about Dain’s every move like today.
Dain touched Juho’s reddened eyes. How could he have lied when he was so tender-hearted and weak? Juho was still a boyfriend that Dain needed to protect.
“Juho, were you very anxious when hyung went out alone today?”
“…Yes.”
“Don’t be anxious. I’ve never said I’d abandon you. What are you going to do if you keep thinking such thoughts?”
“But what should I do when I keep being scared that hyung will leave me behind?”

Dain rubbed his hair against Juho’s chest. It was the maximum aegyo and comfort Dain could offer.
