The game’s protagonist possesses the body of the villain in an in-game novel titled My Beloved Beta, and struggles to avoid a destruction ending.
Yeon Yiseo is the kind-hearted protagonist of that very novel, My Beloved Beta. However, this world ultimately belongs to SickVill, and Yeon Yiseo is neither the protagonist nor a capture target—just a background character.
Yeon Yiseo’s goal is to avoid disrupting the game’s storyline as much as possible while building connections with the prominent figures—namely, the capture targets of SickVill.
But then—
"Weren’t you a Beta?"
Yeon Yiseo couldn’t respond right away, falling silent for a moment. But no matter what he said, it probably wouldn’t have been enough to stop Alexander from realizing the truth. Alexander’s eyes widened slightly before his voice dropped into something low and certain, as if everything had just clicked into place.
