Earth Hero’s Retirement Project 56

The Demon King and Cthulhu (6)

Moon Tae-young let out a long breath, trying to steady himself. There were too many sensations clouding his vision.

Soft skin tangled in his fingers, and the finely sculpted abdomen and chest pressed back with supple resistance every time he held him.

A trembling body that flinched and shivered, and brown eyes that blinked slowly.

Whenever he looked into those pale-colored eyes, Moon Tae-young found it hard to suppress his emotions and often ended up kissing him.

It was like something kept punching its way up from deep inside, as if he’d swallowed a live frog.

“Hoo…”

The human mind had its limits. When heading toward a long, grueling goal, one had to preserve certain reserves.

In that vein, Moon Tae-young had simplified parts of his life—cutting out emotions and desires that went beyond a set threshold.

That was why this situation was so baffling. Especially when, with Cha Eui-sung, they’d only exchanged the occasional word and still managed to get along decently enough.

But ever since that impulsive moment when he’d pulled him into an embrace, Moon Tae-young had been spiraling uncontrollably.

When their eyes met, he wanted to touch him. Once he touched him, he wanted to hold him. And after holding him, it took every ounce of restraint to let him go.

Eventually, Moon Tae-young distanced himself. There were too many risks in getting involved with someone.

But even without approaching, he came closer on his own. As if he already knew Tae-young was holding back, Cha Eui-sung looked at him with that clear, transparent gaze.

When he reached out and tousled the soft hair in a moment of conflicted indulgence, that small head inevitably leaned into him.

For all his wariness before, now he exposed his neck to him, resting against him with quiet dependence.

“Your glasses… they’re dirty.”

“Hoo… Are you telling me to take them off?”

“Haha, ugh…!”

Yet the moment things went too far, his eyes would flinch and flicker. Still, the kid clung to him fearlessly, as if he didn’t even know what fear was.

Cheeks and the edges of his ears turned rosy with embarrassment, and he kept prodding straight into Tae-young’s restraint.

As if he knew exactly what made him waver, he peeled back the cloth Tae-young had used to cover his impulses, one by one.

It might have been just an excuse, but sometimes Moon Tae-young felt like Cha Eui-sung had been placed in his life for him and him alone.

An appearance that stole attention, a life story that drew instinctive empathy, lips that whispered only the words he’d always longed to hear, slipping through the cracks Tae-young had desperately tried to seal.

Of everyone he’d ever met, only he seemed to truly see him.

Even if it was just a flimsy justification, it gave him something to hold onto amidst the unsettling transformation in himself.

It was a strange relationship. If asked whether he harbored deep feelings for the boy, Moon Tae-young would probably shake his head after a brief pause.

But the truth was… he was being pulled in far too easily, and far too intensely, to ignore.

“So, once you offer Earth up, where am I supposed to live?”

The moment that absurd question struck right at the heart of his weakest point, Moon Tae-young lost his composure and let himself be swept away.

Before he could finish thinking it through, long, pale fingers reached for him.

Clink.

After his glasses were removed—lenses purely decorative—Moon Tae-young, as if entranced, slipped his hand beneath the hem of Eui-sung’s clothes.

Cha Eui-sung furrowed his brow with a faint exhale, the neat line of his forehead scrunching.

“Ugh…”

Seeing that expression stirred something inside Tae-young, something more dangerous than surprise.

He brushed over Eui-sung’s chest, tugging on the nub caught between his fingers.

Startled, Eui-sung’s eyes widened, lips parting slightly.

But he didn’t seem to dislike it. His half-lowered lashes trembled, his shoulders quivered, and his upper body leaned ever so slightly closer.

The faint light in his pale irises dissolved into a soft haze of pleasure.

Even after trying to pull away, Cha Eui-sung melted helplessly into his arms.

This was… too much. Overwhelming.

And yet, Moon Tae-young couldn’t look away, couldn’t even bring himself to close his eyes.

The warmth in his hands stirred a heady arousal, and each time his fingers grazed skin, the boy’s body squirmed with a quiet, responsive heat.

He kissed him again and again, laying him back down.

When his thumbs pressed and rubbed over the now-taut peaks of Eui-sung’s chest, the boy clung to his tongue with his own and gulped.

“Hnn, that’s good…”

The words slipped from Cha Eui-sung’s lips, so soft they barely registered as sound.

His face was flushed a deep red, dazed and halfway gone, and Moon Tae-young was struck with a bizarre sense of guilt—twisted, corrupting guilt.

Damn it… And why did he have to still look so young?

If he went any deeper in this state, could he really deal with the consequences?

But even if he pulled back now, it wouldn’t be long before he was shaken again.

He lingered in that indecision just a little too long—

—until Cha Eui-sung suddenly grabbed his wrist.

His fingers threaded themselves between Moon Tae-young’s.

Eui-sung leaned in again, smiling faintly, and exhaled hotly against his ear before nipping at it.

“I said I like it.”

The hesitation was shattered in an instant—blown away by that cool, sharp breath that carried the final nail.

***

Every choice comes with hesitation.

When presented with two seemingly plausible options, reason and instinct take turns spouting conflicting arguments.

So by all logic, Cha Eui-sung’s head should’ve been buzzing with inner noise right now—one voice stopping him, the other pushing him forward. That’s how it should be.

Hurry up and cling to him. Don’t let that bastard think of anything else.

Yeah, fuck it—kiss him already.

The moment he gained a convenient excuse—that he needed to fill the Savior Gauge—Cha Eui-sung’s reason and instinct merged into a perfect tag team.

Overwhelming urges clouded his vision, and sudden jolts of misplaced pleasure justified themselves like it was the most natural thing in the world.

Pride, embarrassment—everything turned to glittering ash, consumed by sheer arousal.

Letting his overheated body melt into those large hands, Cha Eui-sung threw himself fully into the embrace.

“W-Wait, ah…!”

Ever since Moon Tae-young had started slipping his hand beneath his clothes, Eui-sung had seen this coming.

After all, a plain male body only had so many points of interest—where else would that hand go?

But when Tae-young groped his chest with those heat-clouded eyes, Eui-sung forgot all his mental preparation and gasped in stunned stillness.

What the fuck is this feeling…?!

His whole body had already been hypersensitive, so no matter where he was touched, he would’ve flinched. And with how vividly acute his senses were now, that hypersensitivity decided to kick into overdrive—especially there.

The shock was far more intense than he’d expected, and it tore through his mind like a bomb going off.

“Ugh…”

The way Tae-young touched his chest was both gentle and bold.

Sharp pressure sent jolts of pain and pleasure spiraling outward from that small, sensitive point.

Everything that had been focused in his lips now flooded through his exposed skin, leaving flushed trails in its wake.

This really is too fucking weird.

When his chest was rubbed again, Cha Eui-sung bit down on the smooth flesh brushing against his lips, muffling a moan.

That strange surge of pleasure lifted his entire body. His throat bobbed like he’d just gulped down water.

Looking up again, he saw Moon Tae-young’s eyes halfway glazed over.

That inky black gaze shimmered with a feverish heat, roving hungrily over his panting, flushed body.

That kind of look, paired with such a blank expression, made Eui-sung feel… weird.

Guess he’s gonna go all the way today too, Eui-sung thought, half out of it, before letting that two-in-one monster of reason and instinct drag him under.

And in that moment, he whispered something into Tae-young’s ear—words he’d never even dream of saying under normal circumstances.

“I said I like it.”

What followed was a blur of sensation.

“Mmmph!”

With a sudden twist, Moon Tae-young, who had been hovering over him, pulled Eui-sung close and rolled them onto their sides.

Their bodies pressed tightly together in an instant, hips flush.

“Moon Tae-y—”

He couldn’t even finish the name before Tae-young’s thick thigh slipped between his, grinding directly against his groin.

“Haah…”

Hot breath poured over his neck, flooding his senses with Moon Tae-young’s scent.

A shiver raced down Eui-sung’s spine, and on instinct, he clamped his legs tighter. A subtle jolt of pleasure zinged below his navel.

When Tae-young glanced down, he saw that Eui-sung’s leg was squeezing right around his own hardness.

Hmm… and just like that, his already off-kilter eyes spun about 90 degrees further.

Eui-sung, nervous about what madness was coming next, stiffened—

—but Moon Tae-young only pulled him into a wordless embrace.

His hand roamed down Eui-sung’s smooth back, then abruptly hooked on his waistband and changed direction.

Rrrip! Tchk—!

The seams tore. The unmistakable sound of fabric splitting apart filled the air.

Is he out of his mind?

Tae-young shoved past the underwear, his hand sliding directly over bare skin.

Eui-sung jolted upright in shock.

His eyes darted about in panic, unsure how to react—

—when suddenly, Tae-young bit his neck.

“AH!”

Seriously, is he insane?!

The haze of arousal cracked just enough for absurdity to seep in.

But before Eui-sung could even bring his head back to bash him with it, Tae-young let go and began licking and sucking the spot he’d just bitten.

The sharp sting twisted into a strange kind of thrill.

A tingling wave of pleasure crept up his spine.

Glancing at his face—still emotionless—Eui-sung, annoyed, lifted his leg and ground it firmly against Tae-young’s groin.

“Kh…”

Tae-young’s hands grabbed Eui-sung’s ass, and their lower halves pressed even tighter together.

Despite the pressure that had his head spinning, something inside Eui-sung remained unsatisfied.

It wasn’t enough. Not the suffocating tightness up front, not the teasing pleasure that came and went without building.

It felt like lying in bed at home, wound up and frustrated, with no release in sight.

Groaning, Eui-sung slammed his head into Tae-young’s shoulder.

“Haah… harder.”

Unable to endure the half-assed teasing, he muttered his demand.

Finally, a trace of a smile returned to Moon Tae-young’s voice.

“Guess I’m… having a hard time holding back, too.”

Did he bite my neck because he couldn’t hold back? Like, instead of a mouthpiece??

Before Eui-sung could even finish that thought—

Moon Tae-young kissed him again.

A faint metallic tang of blood spread between their lips.

Still holding the kiss, Tae-young patted Eui-sung’s thigh.

…Is that a signal to relax?

As soon as their tangled legs parted, it happened.

Click. Ziiip—!

The sound of a buckle unfastening, and a zipper sliding down.
