Chapter 76
Siwoo’s heavy breath touched Jihan’s cheek. With unfocused eyes, Siwoo sent out more guiding energy as if urging Jihan to answer.
Siwoo’s excited energy was tightly binding Jihan. Even the guiding had a heat swirling within it.
“I asked if it’s not good enough.”
It was energy that would not be easy to shake off. Even for Jihan, an Esper with strong control, there was a limit to how much he could endure.
“Why aren’t you answering…”
Siwoo frowned with irritation. He felt stifled by the heat building up in his body that wasn’t being fully released. Is this how an Esper on the verge of going berserk feels? Even though he knew it wasn’t comparable, it made him think of Espers suffering from elevated wavelength levels.
He had never seen it in person, but he had often encountered it in documentaries or movies. The sight of Espers entering a critical state with wavelength levels approaching the limit due to excessive use of abilities and stress was horrific.
They died in terrible agony, unable to remember who they were. He had heard that when an Esper goes berserk, not even a corpse is left to be found.
Not a single bone fragment or piece of flesh remains, all turning to black ash. That’s what an Esper’s berserker state was like.
“Take the guiding… I’ll give it to you.”
Siwoo squirmed and pressed down on Jihan’s shoulders. He tried to increase contact by fully sitting on Jihan’s body, with a desperate expression.
The hand gripping Jihan’s firm shoulder slowly moved downward. Jihan, lying back against the sofa, silently watched Siwoo sit on his abdomen with half-lidded eyes.
The corners of his mouth were curved as usual, but somehow he didn’t seem to be smiling. It was an expression that made his thoughts unreadable.
“Guide.”
Jihan called out to Siwoo with an ambiguous smile. Siwoo’s eyes were moist. He seemed lost in his own sad imagination.
“Why are you about to cry? While doing something good.”
Jihan whispered softly, looking with affectionate eyes at Siwoo, who was gripping his collar.
In truth, the moment Siwoo straddled his body, he had almost reflexively placed his hands on Siwoo’s slim waist. Thinking he might as well kiss him, he instinctively traced Siwoo’s lips with his gaze. It was a situation where he could make the excuse that his reason was clouded by the sweet guiding.
He had considered at least going for a kiss, but the moment he saw Siwoo’s expression, his mind cleared.
“The guiding, it’s not working…”
“No. It’s working well.”
Siwoo, mumbling with a deeply furrowed brow, looked like he might burst into tears at any moment. Despite appearing so proud, he surprisingly easily showed vulnerability. The more he saw, the more tender-hearted Siwoo seemed.
“Other guides couldn’t even do this much.”
This wasn’t just empty words to comfort Siwoo. Even with contact guiding that was incomparable to just holding hands, wavelengths hadn’t loosened this much.
“Guide Han Siwoo, your skills are no joke. I’m so surprised right now.”
Jihan exclaimed exaggeratedly while stroking Siwoo’s back. When his hand touched the protruding shoulder blades, his long eyes narrowed slightly.
He’s thin, too thin. Our exclusive guide.
“But for Kang Geonho… this isn’t enough, is it?”
At the mention of someone who wasn’t present, Jihan’s eyes curved like a bow. He had wondered why Siwoo hadn’t brought up Geonho.
Siwoo blinked his moist eyes slowly and let out a long sigh. His excited breathing mixed in the sigh sounded intensely erotic. Knowing it wasn’t intentional made it even more stimulating.
“I even hugged him, but… it stayed the same.”
Recalling Geonho’s guiding, more heat rushed to Siwoo’s eyes.
“You hugged him?”
Jihan asked casually. Siwoo nodded and let out a series of sighs. At this, Jihan’s hand stroking Siwoo’s back gradually stopped.
“How?”
Siwoo hoped Jihan would continue rubbing his back. He subtly leaned his weight back to make Jihan’s hand touch his back. His expression also showed he wanted Jihan to continue what he was doing, but Jihan pretended not to notice.
“How did you hug him?”
Instead, he raised his upper body, supporting Siwoo’s back and adjusting their position so Siwoo was sitting on his thighs.
“Show me.”
“Why?”
“So I can find the problem.”
At Jihan’s nonchalant request, the dazed Siwoo slowly extended his arms. Due to his slowed thinking, Jihan’s words all seemed reasonable. Since he had been told to practice contact guiding on him, it seemed okay to use it freely.
“I did it like this.”
After hesitating, Siwoo hugged Jihan tightly, just as he had hugged Geonho. Due to their lower bodies being in contact, the position was even more intimate than before.
It was a position he would never have taken if he were in his right mind. Sitting on Jihan’s legs with his thighs spread wide, hugging him tightly on the sofa – this was behavior completely out of character for Siwoo.
Moreover, it wasn’t Kang Geonho but Yoo Jihan – a dangerously sly guy.
“For how long?”
“I don’t know… a long time.”
Siwoo frowned, trying to recall his hazy memory. He didn’t know the exact time because he had fallen asleep while guiding that day.
“I can’t remember.”
He murmured softly and hugged Jihan even tighter.
Unlike Kang Geonho, Yoo Jihan’s body temperature was lukewarm.
Siwoo’s dreamy eyes fell on Jihan’s hands. With one cheek resting on Jihan’s shoulder, he slowly took Jihan’s left hand.
When their hands touched like this, Geonho was hot and the leader was cold. Yoo Jihan was in between the two brothers with extreme body temperatures. Neither hot nor cold.
Bzzt! Bzzt―!
Startled by the sudden vibration, Siwoo’s body jerked. The loud vibration came from Jihan’s pocket. It was the vibration of a pager calling for him.
“What the…”
Unfortunately, the pager was right under Siwoo’s inner thigh. With the new stimulation added to his already sensitive body, Siwoo’s waist twitched in surprise. It felt strange.
“Quickly, take it out…”
Siwoo tightly wrapped his arms around Jihan’s neck and lifted his hips. He wanted to get up immediately, but because Jihan was holding his waist, he could only raise his lower body.
“Let go. It feels weird.”
“Indeed.”
Jihan murmured, staring intently at the groaning Siwoo.
“It is weird.”
Instead of turning off the pager, he buried his nose in Siwoo’s white neck. While pressing down harder on the thin waist.
“Let’s do this often. Until it’s not weird anymore.”
He whispered, rubbing his lips against the tender neck as if kissing it. Then, before the surprised Siwoo could burst into tears, he teleported them to the dormitory.
“Good job, Guide.”
Jihan, who had immediately taken Siwoo to his room and sat him on the bed, disappeared briefly and reappeared with ice water.
“Cool your head and get some good sleep. Don’t think about anything.”
Siwoo’s cheeks were flushed with the remaining heat from the guiding. Jihan personally placed the cold glass in both hands of the dazed Siwoo.
“You’re not going to receive more…?”
Siwoo grabbed Jihan’s wrist as he stepped back.
“Receive more guiding before you go.”
He even subtly pulled Jihan towards the bed where he was sitting. How much was he going to regret this the next day?
“I’ll receive more tomorrow.”
“No. Receive it now.”
Jihan smiled brightly without a sound. After staring at the stubborn Siwoo for a moment, he firmly shook his head.
“If we do more here, you’ll run away.”
He was certain that Siwoo would be alone regretting it, unable to bear the embarrassment and running away. To Jihan, who had fully grasped Siwoo’s personality, the sight of him fleeing was clear as day.
“There’s no rush. Let’s take it slow.”
Jihan gently cupped Siwoo’s sullen cheek and grinned. Siwoo, who would normally have recoiled, just leaned his cheek into Jihan’s palm. Sending alluring glances, telling him to receive more guiding before leaving.
“Sleep well.”
However, Jihan didn’t indulge him. He used his telekinesis to lay Siwoo on the bed, left the room, and didn’t forget to lock the door.
“Hyung, you’re back?”
Seojun, who had come out hearing movement downstairs, came down the stairs. Jihan, heading to the kitchen, greeted the youngest with a smile that reached his eyes.
Seojun’s gaze naturally turned to the door behind the stairs as he came down. He had seen Jihan coming out of the corridor to Siwoo’s room.
“You bought dinner, right?”
“Yes, please eat quickly.”
“I need to go out again. I’ll eat when I come back after work. Thanks.”
Jihan, standing in the kitchen, filled a glass with ice. The wavelength emanating from him was very light. His complexion also seemed to have improved.
“Did you receive guiding?”
But his expression was subtly subdued. It was a minute difference, but Seojun, who was good at observing others’ expressions, noticed it immediately.
Why does he seem unhappy when he received guiding first as he wanted? Seojun wondered internally as he watched Jihan drain the ice water in one go.
“You’ll be staying at the dormitory, right?”
Jihan, who had come back to the living room, checked his pager and used his telekinesis. He moved Geonho, who was sprawled out on the sofa, to his room upstairs. Geonho, who had been lacking sleep, was sleeping like the dead. He was generally not easy to wake once asleep.
“Yes, I’m planning to stay at the dormitory today.”
Jihan turned off the pager that had started ringing again and finally checked Siwoo’s room door. It was time for him to return to the field. Since Geonho wouldn’t be able to return, he had to take on Geonho’s work as well. Looks like it’s an all-night shift.
“Don’t go to the guide’s room.”
Jihan looked at Seojun before teleporting. He expected an immediate agreement, but Seojun tilted his head and responded:
“Why?”
Seeing him, Jihan slightly narrowed his eyes.
“He’s very angry. On the verge of exploding.”
He imitated the expression of an angry Siwoo, then patted Seojun’s shoulder before disappearing. Recently, he had been living the busiest life. Among the Baekya Guild members, many were seeking out Jihan, who wasn’t a beastkin.
Left alone in the quiet living room, Seojun immediately turned around. Despite Jihan clearly telling him not to go. He headed behind the stairs without any hesitation.
