Cat K V1. C8-1

“You perverted bastard!!!”

The shout boomed through the room, and a pillow flew through the air, slamming into Calyx’s face. Calyx slowly caught the pillow that had struck him.

In front of him, K stood with a face flushed red, panting in fury. The way K clutched another pillow in their hands made it clear: if Calyx took another step closer, that pillow would be the next projectile. Calyx clicked his tongue inwardly and called out to K in a gentle voice.

“K.”

“What?! You pervert!”

K roared back.

The commotion was so loud that the people outside the bedroom could be heard shuffling nervously. Calyx sighed inwardly, adjusting the fabric of his sleepwear, which had been nearly torn off. As he fastened it, K’s furious panting eased slightly, but the wariness in their eyes—ready to bolt at any moment—didn’t fade.

“Stop it. Calm down, K.”

Calyx flashed the smile K loved, the one that crinkled the corners of his eyes, and whispered.

“Hey. You… you…”

K clutched the pillow like a shield, glaring up at Calyx. After stammering a few times—you, you—K suddenly leaped off the bed and dashed toward the door.

“I’m not doing it with you, you dickhead—!!”

With that, K stormed out of the bedroom.

Through the open door, Calyx could see the knights and attendants outside, unsure of where to look. He ran a hand through his hair and let out a faint sigh.

Another failure. Again.

“…Y-Your Highness.”

Calyx looked up at the voice in front of him. The man’s face paled as their eyes met. Calyx placed the documents on the desk, bowed his head, and watched the man scurry away as if fleeing.

A pile of paperwork awaited him, but he couldn’t focus. He crushed a feather pen in his hand and glanced at the corner of the desk. The basket and ball of yarn K loved were still there, but K was nowhere to be seen. By now, he was probably playing in the maids’ lounge.

Thud.

Calyx slammed the ruined feather pen onto the desk and leaned back in his chair.

“I’m not doing it with you, you dickhead—!!”

K’s scream from days ago echoed in his ears.

The boy couldn’t sleep without his body heat. But that night, after storming out, K hadn’t returned until dawn—only slipping back in after the sun rose, transformed into a cat, and curling up on Calyx’s chest as if nothing were wrong. As if that form was the only one in which they could feel safe. And ever since, every night, K had watched him with wary eyes, refusing to shift back into human form.

Nothing was ever easy with this one.

Calyx sat back, tapping his fingers on the armrest, lost in thought.

He had confessed his feelings, told K he loved him, and K had accepted it.

He had held K close, kissing him, touching him every night, even as K—inexperienced in such things—had squirmed and protested at first, only to cling to him in pleasure moments later. It had taken patience, advancing one careful step at a time, waiting for K to adjust. He had thought, Finally, I can have him properly. But the result?

“I’m not doing it with you, you dickhead—!!”

Goddamn it…

Calyx didn’t know whether to laugh or cry as he repeated K’s words in his head.

He had managed to touch K. He had even guided K’s hand to himself, thinking maybe it would be okay. But K’s eyes had widened in shock as they touched him, and within seconds, the pillow was flying again.

Calyx exhaled heavily.

K was ignorant about relationships between men, and while he didn’t have a strong aversion, the sheer difference in their sizes was enough to terrify K. Calyx could accommodate K’s wishes in most things—but what could he do about the body he was born with? It was a true dilemma.

He knew, objectively, that his size would be overwhelming for K. And from K’s perspective, it must have been even worse.

K hated pain. After such a shock, it was obvious he would refuse to return to human form. As a cat, there was nothing to fear.

K was adorable as a cat—small, lovable. But now, that very form had become an obstacle. K used it as a shield, allowing only gentle petting and light kisses, nothing more.

Days had passed since he last kissed K, since he last felt their skin. He couldn’t take it anymore. But if he forced K back into human form, he risked earning their genuine hatred.

To have the one he wanted so close and yet be unable to hold them—what torture.

What the hell was he supposed to do?

Calyx narrowed his eyes, deep in thought, then suddenly smacked the armrest.

***

Night.

The palace at night was terrifying. Monsters appeared sometimes.

First, it was a mouth monster. Now, it was a dick monster. But I was safe. That monster only threatened humans, not cats like me.

“K.”

My patron called.

I lay curled around Big Guy, glaring at the patron. He was perched on the edge of the bed, watching me. That was dangerous. It meant he was considering a transformation. I ignored his beckoning gesture and kicked my back legs against the floor—thump, thump, thump—still clutching Big Guy.

I hadn’t shifted back to human in days.

As I said, monsters were roaming around. And this wasn’t just some mouth-munching monster—this one had a terrifying dick. The only way to survive was to never face it as a human.

I’ll admit, the dirty stuff with the patron felt good. At first, it was weird, but once I got used to it, I craved more. He started with just kissing my lips, then moved to my nipples, my belly button, and then—that. I freaked out when his mouth went there, but damn, it felt amazing.

The problem was what came next.

His big hand groped me, then slowly pulled my hand toward him. Before I knew it, my fingers were inside his open robe, touching something scorching hot. I thought I’d grabbed a burning rock.

I fumbled, running my hand up and down, and peeked inside his robe. There was what looked like a forearm sticking out. I checked my own arms—both accounted for. Then I checked his—both still there. So I checked his legs. Both legs were intact, too.

That’s when I realized: the thing in my hand had a hole at the tip.

That monster wanted to do things with that ridiculous appendage. Stupid patron. He thought I didn’t know, but I’d heard everything. The maids near the study whispered about it—the Crown Prince and the black-haired foreign boy spending nights together. Obviously, they were doing it. And I knew what men did together.

How could he? After saying he loved me, after all that sweet talk, he wanted to shove that inside me? He was trying to kill me!

I wasn’t shifting back to human until I was damn sure I was safe. My life was perfectly fine as a cat. Shifting back would only benefit him—and only for a few hours at night. I got nothing out of it. Nothing! Hmph!

I rubbed my cheek against Big Guy, digging my claws in for stability, and shot the patron a wary glance as he approached.

“K.”

Did he flinch at my murderous glare? Instead of kidnapping me onto the bed, he knelt beside me. I narrowed my eyes as his fingers gently scratched my head. Had he really given up?

As if reading my mind, he leaned in, his voice low and secretive.

“K. I found a way to break the curse.”

Wait—curse? For real?!

My eyes widened at the bombshell. The patron nodded, confirming. I dropped Big Guy and lunged at his chest.

Mrowww—! Nyaaaang—!!

Our patron was the best! The absolute best!

He chuckled softly as I buried myself against him, pressing my paws to his chin and rubbing my face against his cheek.

Oh, my sweet, precious patron.
