# Chapter 24
Baek Jaan dug his fingernails into his palm, determined not to lose his senses.
Just kissing Hajin made him feel like he possessed everything in the world.
Even though Hajin had boldly approached him but was just pressing firmly against his lips, it didn’t matter. He actually wished time would stop with their lips pressed together like this.
But when Hajin’s hesitant tongue parted his lips and entered, he realized even that thought had been arrogant.
The tongue that slipped inside stimulated Baek Jaan’s desires.
Hajin wasn’t entirely comfortable either. Although he had decided to regard this as a type of medical treatment, he couldn’t help but hesitate.
Medical treatment in name only—after all, what else could pressing lips together and intertwining tongues be called if not a kiss?
Still, he needed to provide treatment, so he boldly kissed Baek Jaan first and pushed his tongue inside. Once he did, however, he moved tentatively, unsure of what to do next.
It was his first time pressing his lips against someone else’s, so he didn’t know how to properly intertwine their tongues.
‘Should I start with the Guiding first?’
He searched for Baek Jaan’s tongue, which had stiffened and remained motionless. The moment their tongues touched, Baek Jaan’s body flinched. Hajin’s body trembled just the same.
The feeling of his tongue touching someone else’s was strange. It made him shiver, but it wasn’t disgusting. Inexperienced as he was, Hajin found it difficult to describe. It just felt… strange.
‘…I should finish this quickly.’
Just as he was about to move, thinking of Guiding with his tongue tip instead of his hand, Baek Jaan, who had been stiff and motionless, suddenly inhaled deeply and began enthusiastically intertwining his tongue with Hajin’s, as though he had never been frozen.
“Mmph…!”
Not stopping there, Baek Jaan pulled Hajin onto his lap and drew his waist closer. He held the back of Hajin’s head to prevent him from escaping and tilted his head.
Their wet lips rubbed together, and each time they separated, the obscene sounds of their tongues mixing through the gaps and rough breaths mixed with moans leaked out.
‘What is this…!’
Hajin closed his eyes rather than try to focus his blurry vision. But when his sight was blocked, his other senses became more sensitive.
The fingertips that gently caressed and explored his lower back, the feeling of their noses brushing, the firm teeth that painlessly bit Hajin’s lips before releasing them.
He felt everything—the way Baek Jaan inserted his tongue again and wrapped it around Hajin’s, which had stiffened in confusion.
‘Damn, what kind of medical treatment is this!’
But he couldn’t stop now.
Hajin tried forcibly to calm his constantly twitching body, but Baek Jaan kept stimulating him without giving him time to adjust, so he finally gave up trying to control himself.
‘I should just finish the Guiding first.’
Once the Guiding was over, this act would end too. Hajin began the Guiding that he hadn’t even started due to his panic.
Somehow Baek Jaan became more excited and began to touch him all over, but Hajin continued with the Guiding while letting out moans.
“Ah, mmph, nn…”
“Haa, it’s good, so good.”
“Now, hnn, that’s enough now.”
Though he couldn’t confirm whether the internal injury had fully healed, he had provided enough Guiding, so it should be sufficient.
Completely drained of energy, Hajin pushed against Baek Jaan’s shoulder with a languid voice, but his solid body didn’t budge.
“Baek Jaan…?”
Feeling an ominous premonition, Hajin tried to escape, but Baek Jaan wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him closer.
The already sufficiently embarrassing position became even more embarrassing. Moreover…
‘He’s hard…’
Right where his lower body touched Hajin’s, he could feel something thick. No matter how inexperienced he was, it was impossible not to understand what this meant.
“First, let me go, ngh…”
‘Stop rubbing!’
Hajin’s face turned completely red as he raised his hand to cover his eyes. Even if he tried to ignore it, the size pressing against him was too large to disregard.
He kept trying to push Baek Jaan away, but it was useless. The other man called Hajin’s name as if he had lost his mind.
“Haa, Hajin-ssi… ngh, it feels so good. I like you. Hajin-ssi.”
‘He’s not in his right mind.’
It wasn’t a snide remark—when Baek Jaan lifted his head after nibbling on Hajin’s neck, his eyes were unfocused.
Continuously muttering that he liked him, Baek Jaan laid Hajin down on the sofa. Naturally, Baek Jaan pressed down on him, covering Hajin’s body with his own.
‘Ah.’
It was all too obvious what he wanted now, beyond just pressing and rubbing.
‘If I’m not careful, this could go too far.’
Hajin, who had stiffened, unable to properly respond to this first-time experience, reached out as if he’d never been frozen.
Cradling the back of Baek Jaan’s head and pulling him close, Hajin kissed him and this time was the first to intertwine their tongues.
Having moved beyond complete inexperience with just one kiss, Hajin moved his tongue, and Baek Jaan responded by intertwining his tongue with Hajin’s.
Noticing that the hand that had somehow slipped inside his shirt had stopped advancing, Hajin lowered the hand cradling Baek Jaan’s head to trace his nape with his fingertips.
“Ngh, Hajin-ssi…”
When Baek Jaan, his face flushed just from the touch on his nape, leaned in to kiss him again, Hajin forcefully infused his Guiding—perhaps even more strongly than when he had put the rampaging Baek Jaan to sleep before.
Thud.
“Ugh, heavy.”
With the deliberately powerful Guiding, Baek Jaan fell asleep without showing any reaction. As a result, Hajin, pinned underneath, groaned.
While he was struggling to somehow raise himself, the sound of the front door opening was heard. Unfortunately, Cha Jinwoo, who had returned from his mission, witnessed the scene.
‘I don’t know if this timing is good or bad…’
Hajin blushed at being caught in such an embarrassing situation. However, that wasn’t what mattered to Cha Jinwoo.
The fact that Baek Jaan was lying on top of Hajin was enough to make his eyes go wild.
Approaching like the wind, Cha Jinwoo forcefully grabbed Baek Jaan, and the limp body was pulled away without resistance.
“…He’s asleep.”
His tense shoulders relaxed. Of course, if Baek Jaan had gone crazy and assaulted Hajin, he wouldn’t have exposed his back so easily.
Cha Jinwoo sighed softly at the thought that he had acted instinctively before assessing the situation. It couldn’t be helped. When it came to matters involving Hajin, his instincts took over.
“Are you alright?”
Thanks to Cha Jinwoo, Hajin was able to get up easily. Watching Hajin fix his disheveled clothes, Cha Jinwoo asked, “May I ask what happened?”
Hajin, who had been smoothing out his wrinkled shirt, stopped at the question. Should I tell him? Of course, there was nothing to hide. Hajin had only tried to heal an Esper with an internal injury.
But it was embarrassing to say that he had intertwined tongues with Baek Jaan for Guiding and had almost gone further on the living room sofa.
“Well…”
Perhaps misinterpreting his hesitation, Cha Jinwoo tightened his grip on the back of Baek Jaan’s neck and asked again.
“Don’t tell me this bas—this guy forced himself on you?”
“What? No, that’s not it.”
If anything, Hajin had been the one to kiss him first. But Cha Jinwoo was reluctant to believe his assurances.
“You can be honest with me.”
“It really wasn’t like that.”
In the end, he had no choice but to explain everything that had happened. He had never felt so humiliated in his entire life.
At thirty-two years old, having to explain to someone who had just become his colleague the reason and process of how he ended up kissing another colleague. No, that wasn’t right. This was a medical procedure, so there was no need to be embarrassed.
“…I see.”
But when he felt Cha Jinwoo’s gaze shift to his swollen lips, Hajin finally couldn’t bear it and hung his head.
Not that it helped when his ears and the back of his neck were burning, but still.
* * *
He had worried about things becoming awkward with Baek Jaan, but it was truly an unnecessary concern.
Baek Jaan, who only woke up the next evening—perhaps because Hajin’s Guiding had been stronger than intended—immediately ran to Hajin and apologized for his wrongdoing the night before.
“I’m sorry, hyung. You must have been very shocked…”
“I was a little surprised, but it’s fine. Please be careful next time.”
“Next time… Yes, I’ll be careful next time.”
Baek Jaan, with a pleasant smile, clung to Hajin’s side as soon as his apology was accepted, chattering about various things.
“That bastard, acting like that as soon as he wakes up. Why didn’t he just sleep forever?”
Han Seungho, who absolutely couldn’t stand seeing Baek Jaan so happy, rushed over.
Baek Jaan, whose private time with Hajin had been interrupted, didn’t look entirely pleased either.
“Seungho. Go eat something. Your efficiency is so bad that when your stomach is empty, your head is empty too.”
“Who are you calling inefficient? If you want me gone, you should leave first. Stop bothering hyung.”
Now Hajin understood well. Though he found it annoying to be caught in the middle of their dispute, he knew that these two wouldn’t stop fighting just because he intervened.
In situations like this, it was better to simply leave.
“You bas—! Hyung, where are you going?”
“It’s dinnertime, so I thought I’d go eat.”
“Let’s go together, hyung.”
And just like that, they stopped fighting and followed him. Currently, only Hajin, Han Seungho, and Baek Jaan were in the dormitory.
It was unfortunate that Cha Jinwoo, who could have mediated between them, wasn’t there. Unlike when they first met, Alpha Team rarely moved as a unit.
Since the team consisted of Espers with the most outstanding abilities and best performance records, each individual member was exceptionally skilled and often dispatched separately for missions.
That’s why, despite living under the same roof, all five of them rarely gathered together.
‘I’d rather go out myself.’
But if Hajin prepared to leave, those two would stick to him. If he tried to go outside, they would nag him about going out without an Esper and refuse to let him go alone.
‘Better to stay home than see them act like this in public.’
