Beast Tamer 38

The soft light traced over Min Yugeon’s forehead, the corners of his eyes, the bridge of his nose, and his lips—each part quietly observed by Seo Suho, whose heart began to beat a little faster. Whether it was the alcohol or some strange, ticklish sensation he couldn’t quite explain, he didn’t know.

“I… need some water.”

He wasn’t actually thirsty, but he used the excuse to sit up. He hadn’t drunk that much, so he figured a glass of cold water and a bit of stretching would sober him up quickly.

But instead of letting go, Min Yugeon gripped Suho’s hand even tighter and yanked him down.

“Ugh!”

Seo Suho’s body fell forward, landing squarely in Min Yugeon’s arms. It happened so fast he didn’t even have time to process it—just a flash of surprise and suddenly he was on top of him. Suho instinctively braced himself against Min Yugeon’s firm shoulder and looked down at him. The hands now gripping Suho’s waist were unmistakably hot.

“W-What the hell?”

Suho stammered. The distance between them was way too close.

“Stop messing around.”

“…Seo Suho.”

Min Yugeon was just as startled. He hadn’t meant for things to escalate—he just didn’t want to let go. But his body had moved like he was harboring something darker. At this rate, Suho wasn’t the one who seemed drunk—it was him.

“Have you ever kissed someone?”

Yugeon asked recklessly, like he didn’t care about the consequences. Suho froze like a statue.

“What?”

“I asked if you’ve ever kissed anyone.”

“…”

A question mark popped up in Seo Suho’s head. Why would Min Yugeon ask that? Right now, of all times?

“…No.”

The moment he heard that answer, something twitched at the corner of Yugeon’s mouth.

It would’ve been a lie to say that he never burned with desire as a healthy adult man. But he never wanted to entangle his body with anyone except Suho. He’d never dated anyone, never kept a sex partner. Unlike him, Suho probably just had zero interest in that kind of thing… but hearing that no one had ever touched Suho, ever desired him—it made him oddly happy.

And along with that joy, a sticky, dark desire began to sprout.

“Me neither.”

Yugeon confessed in a slightly hoarse voice.

Seo Suho gave him a look like he was mentally spelling out: So what. It was such a typical Suho reaction that Yugeon felt a cold sweat form along his spine.

“To be this old and… never once? Is that even possible?”

“Why wouldn’t it be.”

“R-Right. I guess it could happen…”

“What are you trying to say? Let go. This is uncomfortable.”

Suho tried twisting out of Yugeon’s grasp. But Yugeon, far from releasing him, gently pulled him down instead. Suho’s knees, which had been propping him up, folded completely, and he ended up sitting squarely on top of Yugeon. A shiver ran through his body, his eyes going wide like they might pop out.

“You…!”

“What I mean is…”

Yugeon lowered his head until their foreheads touched. Their breaths mingled, hot and fast.

“Do it with me.”

“…!”

A kiss?

Or… something more?

Seo Suho felt like his brain had short-circuited, spinning so fast it just… stopped. He had never, not once in his life, imagined this scenario. What was someone supposed to do when a long-time friend—not just an old friend but someone deeply close—suddenly came on to them like this?

And they hadn’t even done anything yet, but Min Yugeon’s cock was already hard beneath him, pressing up from underneath Suho’s weight. It left no room for doubt—this wasn’t a joke.

Watching Suho struggle to process the shock, Min Yugeon felt a stab of guilt deep in his chest. The fantasies he had about Suho weren’t like this. In those dreams, he confessed his feelings, they crossed that line together, became lovers, and spent the night in each other’s arms.

But fantasies were just that—fantasies.

In reality, if he confessed and Suho rejected him, it was obvious how things would play out. Suho would feel guilty for turning him down, and he’d become awkward around him. Just like how he used to carefully tiptoe around his own relationship with his father… No, it’d be worse. Much worse.

They probably wouldn’t even stay friends.

That’s why Min Yugeon had never dared to act.

…Even if it killed him, he couldn’t bear to lose Seo Suho.

“Min Yugeon.”

Judging by the way Seo Suho’s eyes were wavering, the words he’d just blurted out were already too much. Dangerous.

Suho tried to collect his thoughts. So what Min Yugeon was saying was—he didn’t want to date, but he wanted to sleep together?

Of course, people don’t always fulfill their desires solely within romantic relationships. There are plenty who meet up purely to satisfy physical needs, deliberately avoiding any emotional entanglements.

But… what if that person is a friend?

“……”

Min Yugeon cupped Suho’s cheek, which still looked dazed. The alcohol seemed to have worn off a bit; the flush had faded from his face, and Yugeon’s palm nearly covered it entirely. It was a relief that Suho wasn’t reacting as harshly as he feared. He’d expected to be rejected outright, or for Suho to get angry.

“If you don’t want this, I’ll stop.”

Yugeon tilted his head slightly and slowly leaned in—slow enough for Suho to easily pull away if he wanted. Between his lowered lashes, his deep eyes held onto Suho’s face, unwavering.

…How had it come to this? The fact that he couldn’t come up with a reason to refuse, that hesitation—it had to be what people meant when they said they got caught in the mood. Suho tightly shut his eyes, unable to bring himself to look at the face drawing closer to kiss him. Maybe it was from nerves, but once again, their breaths tangled together in erratic, heated whorls.

And then, their lips touched.

Just flesh pressing against flesh—yet it was intensely strange. Yugeon’s lips were warmer than his, a little rough but full and unyielding. As their skin rubbed slowly against one another, Suho’s lips parted involuntarily, and Yugeon, as if waiting for that moment, sucked in his lower lip with a wet, sticky sound.

“Mmh…”

The sound of their lips growing wet leaked out gradually. At first, Yugeon seemed to be holding back, but his breathing soon began to slip out of rhythm. He cradled the back of Suho’s head and, without warning, pried open Suho’s mouth and slid his tongue inside. As he accepted that thick, soft tongue, Suho’s eyelids trembled violently.

“Hngh, mmph.”

It felt like he was being devoured. Every inch of his mouth Yugeon scraped and stirred was flushed and feverish. Caught up in the rising heat, Suho moved his tongue against Yugeon’s, brushing and coaxing it in return. Yugeon growled low in his throat and sucked his tongue harder. Their tongues, wet and flushed, tangled obscenely, occasionally peeking out from their lips as they kissed.

The alcohol may have worn off, but the heat was undeniable now. Suho’s face reddened, and he clutched at Yugeon’s collar. Beneath his palm, he could feel Yugeon’s heartbeat pounding wildly—so fast it felt like it might burst. Suho’s own heart wasn’t any better.

He slowly opened his eyes.

Their gazes met. Yugeon’s eyes watched him like he was licking him with his stare… and that look—it was unfamiliar. It dripped with naked, unfiltered desire.

A chill ran down his spine. Suho instinctively turned his head, and their lips parted with a wet smack.

“Haah… Wait a second…”

As Suho tried to push him away, Yugeon caught his hand and pressed another kiss to it, exhaling a warm breath before murmuring low:

“Why?”

“…Why were you looking at me like that?”

Suho shielded his eyes with his free arm. Biting down on his wet, glistening lips, he looked—embarrassed. Yugeon inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly, barely managing to keep his arousal in check.

“What? How was I looking at you?”

“……”

“Hm?”

Yugeon gently pulled Suho’s arm down as if nothing had happened, revealing his bright red face once again.

“Just… I don’t know. Don’t ask.”

Suho averted his eyes, staring awkwardly at the rug. How was he supposed to say it looked like Yugeon wanted to consume him whole? No way in hell.

“……”

Yugeon swallowed a curse. Suho, glancing away in shame like that, was too damn adorable. It drove him insane. He wanted to suck him in from head to toe, devour every inch. An unbearable thirst crashed over his reason like a wave.

“I’m going crazy, Seo Suho.”

Barely audible, Yugeon muttered as he lifted Suho into his arms and stood. Startled by the sudden motion, Suho instinctively stiffened and quickly wrapped his arms around Yugeon’s neck.

“Hey…!”

“It’s okay. I won’t drop you.”

Yugeon gently bit at Suho’s chin to calm him. His body was trained—not just from working out but from his job. Carrying someone light like Suho was nothing. Without the slightest wobble, he moved smoothly, holding Suho close as he walked.

He carried him into the bedroom.

Yugeon laid Suho down on the bed and tossed off his shirt. The soft ambient light in the room illuminated his muscular torso. Suho swallowed dryly, a tense, foreign feeling crawling up his spine. He’d seen Yugeon shirtless before, sure—but never like this. Never while lying underneath him.
