“H-how is this possible?” Cheng Jun’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Xingze Yun eliminated Dane?!”
“So, when Hebrew captured Chi Yu,” the coach of Gikot muttered in astonishment, “not only did Xingze Yun not attempt a rescue; he didn’t even hesitate for a second before continuing his assault on Dane?!”
The Gikot team members fell into collective silence.
Their expressions varied as they stared at the broadcast screen.
But one thing was certain, they were all shaken by Xingze Yun’s terrifying decisiveness.
To remain completely unfazed while his teammate was under attack, cutting through the dust-obscured battlefield to sever Dane’s mech arms.
It was downright chilling.
When Chi Yu was flipped onto his back by Hebrew, despite the pain shooting through his spine, he fully expected Xingze Yun to thank him.
Instead of gratitude, however, all he heard was the thunderous impact of Dane being eliminated beside him.
“X-Xingze, you…” Chi Yu stammered, “you actually took out Dane?!”
Xingze Yun didn’t respond; his battle with Hebrew was still ongoing.
Mechanical vines dragged both Chi Yu and Dane off the arena.
Before being removed, Chi Yu, stung by Xingze Yun’s coldness, couldn’t help asking, “Xingze, wasn’t I cool just now?!”
Xingze Yun’s original plan had been straightforward: use the mechanical beast to block Hebrew’s assault while his main mech eliminated Dane, creating a numerical advantage against Hebrew.
But Chi Yu had stubbornly ignored his warnings and charged in like cannon fodder.
As the vines dragged Chi Yu away, Xingze Yun muttered under his breath, “What terrible luck.”
The mechanical beast, having just positioned itself to intercept Hebrew’s attack, now returned to Xingze Yun’s side.
Only two combatants remained on the field: Xingze Yun and Hebrew.

Hebrew barely dodged in time. “…!”
Gritting his teeth, he taunted, “This is one-on-one. You really think an Omega can take me on?”
Xingze Yun remained silent, charging at Hebrew with his photon blade in a razor-sharp offensive.

This guy was utterly impossible to communicate with!
The Gikot spectators erupted in cheers for their champion.

Recognizing him as a student from last year’s champion school, Noah Military Academy, the Gikot student toned down his arrogance but still rolled his eyes. “What, am I wrong? An S+ fighter against an A-rank is child’s play. Don’t tell me Yun Xingze has ever beaten an S+ before.”
Ming Xiao smirked. “What a coincidence.”
Before the Gikot students could process his words, a collective gasp erupted from the crowd.

Yun Xingze and his mechanical beast moved in perfect sync, launching relentless pincer attacks on Hebrew.
The mechanical beast was so agile that Hebrew narrowly avoided being hit multiple times. No sooner had he entered stealth mode than he was forced back into visibility.
After barely dodging Yun Xingze’s photon blade assault, Hebrew barely caught his breath only for the mechanical beast to drop from above, nearly crushing his skull!
The audience watched in stunned disbelief, confusion mounting.
Hebrew shouldn’t be this weak, right?!
Even Gikot’s coach shot to his feet, staring wide-eyed at the screen.
Cheng Jun muttered blankly, “What’s wrong with Hebrew today?”

He steadied himself, trying to switch tactics but the tension only grew thicker.
Gritting his teeth, Hebrew refused to accept defeat at the hands of an omega!
The last time he’d been toyed with like this was during a match in Mecha Star against that freakish player named “I’m So Weak.”
But Yun Xingze was only A-rank. He had to be getting lucky!
Hebrew suppressed his nervousness and slipped back into stealth mode, the air currents around him accelerating rapidly.
Above the vast arena, transparent threads began to appear one after another.
This was the Shadow Mech preparing its “ultimate move.”
The previously tense students from Gikot finally let out a sigh of relief.
Those translucent threads were known as the “Heavenly Net”—a high-density nanomaterial construct that only S-rank or higher Shadow Mechs could deploy. It resembled an enormous, invisible spiderweb.
But the Heavenly Net was far more terrifying than any spiderweb. Not only could it disable an opponent’s mech, but it also triggered electromagnetic induction, turning the threads into razor-sharp weapons.
Their cutting power was so extreme that they could sever the limbs of even an A-rank Storm Mech.
Once the Heavenly Net appeared, it meant the opponent was completely at its mercy.
