How to Act in a Depraved Guideverse Novel Side Story 3-3

Eun-jo opened his eyes wide and looked around. The movie theater was almost exactly the same as he remembered. The dim atmosphere, the screens playing movie advertisements, even the savory smell filling the lobby.

The people sitting in the waiting area stared at the two of them. Even though they were dressed in black and wearing hats, there was no hiding their excellent proportions. Are they idols? Oblivious to everyone whispering amongst themselves, Eun-jo busily scanned his surroundings.

When the hat lifted slightly, Eun-jo’s face was fully revealed. From the area where people had gathered, an excited gasp burst out.

“Oh, shit……”

Hurriedly pressing Eun-jo’s hat back down, he stepped in front of him so he wouldn’t be visible from the waiting area.

“Does anything come back to you?”

“No……”

Eun-jo answered gloomily.

“I’m not really sure.”

“You don’t remember watching movies together? Or kissing here?”

“Wh—?”

Eun-jo jerked his head up.

“K-kissing?”

Shock filled his round eyes. His reaction was so dramatic it looked like he’d just been told they’d had sex or something. Jung Tae-seok burst into laughter.

“You were the one who did it.”

“Where? H-here at the movie theater?”

Like he couldn’t believe it, Eun-jo looked around him.

With this many people around, kissing……!!

His face burned at the thought of his scandalous past.

The waiting area, the concession stand, even the space in front of the movie preview screen—everywhere looked like a place people could kiss. Had some kind of perverted demon possessed his eyes? Squeezing his eyes shut tightly, Eun-jo groaned.

Watching every second of it, Jung Tae-seok clenched his fist tightly.

“……Want me to buy you popcorn?”

Only then did Eun-jo look relieved as he nodded quickly.

“Yes!”

“You’ve gotta add ‘hyung.’”

“Y-yes, hyung!”

Before he even finished speaking, Jung Tae-seok headed toward the concession stand. He disappeared so quickly that even the people nearby flinched at his speed. Watching him go, Eun-jo unconsciously laughed.

“He really likes being called hyung.”

Since morning, Jung Tae-seok had been taking him all over the place. They’d already passed the hotel restaurant where they supposedly used to eat dinner together often, the department store, and now they were here. All because the attending physician had said it might help him recover his memories.

What Eun-jo had realized while staying by his side all day was that Jung Tae-seok wasn’t a bad person. Not only did he take meticulous care of him, but if Eun-jo called him hyung, he acted like he’d pluck the stars and moon out of the sky for him.

His smile’s kind of cute too……

Even if he was a little dumb.

Thinking of that bright smile made his chest ticklish. Eun-jo was absentmindedly fiddling with his fingers when—

“Guide Yeo Eun-jo?”

Someone grabbed his arm. Startled, Eun-jo turned around to find two students in school uniforms staring at him.

“It is you, right?! Guide Yeo Eun-jo!”

“Ah, well……”

“Holy shit, I told you it was him! Even from far away he’s glowing—there’s no way he’s some random person!”

Maybe because they’d said his name out loud, more people started looking over. As Eun-jo instinctively stepped back, the students strode closer.

“Could you take a picture with us? I wanna post it on Byeolstar!”

“I want two pictures! Two!”

“Who’d you come here with? Is a Gate opening around here?”

“A Gate? Then are we all gonna die?”

“Idiot, if it was dangerous they’d be carrying equipment or something!”

The two of them talked using unfamiliar terms, and Eun-jo’s face turned pale.

He couldn’t run away, but he couldn’t sign autographs either. He didn’t know how his former self would’ve reacted.

The attending physician’s warning echoed in his head. No one can find out you lost your memories.

What am I supposed to say?

Meeting all those eyes staring at him, Eun-jo bit down hard on his lip.

“Did they say that’s Guide Yeo Eun-jo?”

“I think it’s that guy over there in the hat.”

The murmuring grew louder. Feeling eyes on him from every direction, Eun-jo reflexively turned toward the concession stand. But there wasn’t even a trace of Jung Tae-seok.

Hyung……!

He couldn’t answer, couldn’t run away. And then, a familiar back stepped in front of him.

“I’ll take the pictures for you.”

Holding popcorn, cola, and even dried squid in both arms, he handed them all to Eun-jo. It was enough food for four people.

“Go on ahead first.”

Whispering softly, he slipped a hand into Eun-jo’s pants pocket. Then he tugged his hat off.

As he brushed back Eun-jo’s messy hair, his face was revealed. Pale brown eyes, slightly drooping eyes, and a straight nose.

The people who saw his face gasped.

“You wanted a couple pictures? Two?”

“Ah—yes, yes! Just two!”

Subtly pushing Eun-jo behind him, Jung Tae-seok headed toward the students. As other people holding phones gathered around too, Eun-jo’s side emptied in an instant.

Not wasting the opportunity, Eun-jo quickly jumped onto the escalator. Heading up to the ninth floor where the theaters were, he found a quiet waiting area.

“Haa……”

Dropping onto the sofa, Eun-jo let out a long sigh.

“That was close.”

His heart was still beating anxiously. He thought it’d be okay here since he wasn’t acting anymore. Apparently Guides and Espers were jobs famous enough for ordinary people to recognize too.

The image of Jung Tae-seok smoothly stepping in front of him and exposing his own face instead flashed vividly through his mind.

At the tight feeling in his chest, Eun-jo rubbed at his heart.

“Didn’t he use formal speech earlier?”

Maybe formal speech felt more familiar.

Muttering to himself, he slipped a hand into his pants pocket and touched something Jung Tae-seok had left him.

A movie ticket.

Tiny letters were printed on top.

9th Floor, Theater 8. Row F, Seats 21 and 22.

And above that, in large lettering, was the title.

《Body 2》

No matter how many front flips or back flips he did, it still sounded exactly like the title of a porn movie.

Staring at the absurdly simple and awful title, Eun-jo squeezed his eyes shut.

“So promiscuous……”

Collapsed onto the sofa, Eun-jo rubbed his head against it dramatically.

***

By the time he entered the theater, the movie had already been playing for thirty minutes.

In the darkness, he spotted a head sticking slightly above the seat. Apparently the movie was pretty entertaining, because Eun-jo didn’t move an inch, his eyes glued to the screen.

Chuckling quietly, Jung Tae-seok headed to his seat.

Only then did Eun-jo finally look away from the screen. The moment he noticed Jung Tae-seok sitting beside him, his eyes widened.

‘What happened?’

Unable to speak out loud, Eun-jo mouthed the words in a whisper.

‘There were so many people!’

‘It’s handled. Just watch the movie.’

Answering briefly, Jung Tae-seok cupped Eun-jo’s cheek.

Then he gently turned his face back toward the screen.

Still awkward and uncertain, Eun-jo placed the popcorn between them. After carefully arranging the squid and cola too, he finally focused on the movie again.

Crunch crunch.

The sound of popcorn filled the silence between them.

The one who couldn’t focus was actually Jung Tae-seok.

The movie theater seat was far too cramped for his body size, and to begin with, he wasn’t the type to enjoy movies much anyway.

Besides, there was something much more entertaining sitting right next to him.

Eighteen-year-old Yeo Eun-jo.

Resting his chin against his hand, Jung Tae-seok stared at him. His features were the same, but somehow he gave off a different feeling.

So you forgot our first date too. Is that it?

This had been the very first date they went on after they started dating.

Thinking he was the only one still cherishing that memory made Jung Tae-seok’s brows rise irritably.

He slowly slipped a hand into the popcorn bucket.

Rustle—

He deliberately spilled popcorn all over Eun-jo’s thigh.

“Huh?”

Before Eun-jo could pick it up himself, Jung Tae-seok leaned closer.

“Sorry.”

Whispering softly, he reached out.

His large hand touched Eun-jo’s thigh.

Picking up the popcorn that had fallen everywhere—from the top of his leg to the pieces wedged between his thighs—his hand roamed slowly across him.

Every time he brushed against the inside of his thigh, Eun-jo’s ears turned red.

His thighs tensed tightly, and the bulge between his legs gradually began to swell visibly.

Ha.

In the darkness, Jung Tae-seok’s lips twisted upward.

You must’ve had fun, Yeo Eun-jo.

Back then, Eun-jo must’ve checked his reactions exactly like this while touching his thighs too.

Narrowing his eyes, Jung Tae-seok suddenly shoved his hand deeper between Eun-jo’s thighs.

“Ugh……”

Biting his lip, Eun-jo desperately kept staring at the screen.

The movie’s light flickered across his flushed face.

Once he’d finally collected the last piece of popcorn, Eun-jo sighed in relief.

At that exact moment, popcorn spilled once again from Jung Tae-seok’s hand.

“……”

“Oops.”

His voice sounded suspiciously pleased.

His hand invaded Eun-jo’s thigh again like some shameless thug.

“I-I’ll pick it up myself.”

“You’ll just make it fall more. Stay still.”

Every brush of his fingertips felt unbearable.

Heat gathered in Eun-jo’s lower stomach and spread through his entire body. It felt like every nerve he had was concentrated in his thighs.

Jung Tae-seok gently squeezed his thigh before letting go.

The hand creeping upward slowly burrowed along the inside of his thigh.

“Hngh……”

The moan slipping past his lips made Eun-jo gasp sharply.

Startled, he looked at Jung Tae-seok, but his expression remained perfectly calm, like he hadn’t heard anything.

What’s wrong with my body……?

People touching him wasn’t unusual.

Stylists noona adjusting his clothes happened all the time.

But this feels different.

Unlike back then when he’d felt nothing, now warmth pooled heavily below his waist.

Thump thump.

His heart pounded rapidly.

The movie sounds faded away until all he could clearly feel was Jung Tae-seok’s hand against his skin.

Biting his lip, Eun-jo forced himself to keep staring at the screen.

With his face burning red and unable to move, Eun-jo was unbelievably cute.

Suppressing a laugh, Jung Tae-seok reached into the popcorn bucket again.

Very easily, he overturned the entire thing.

“Ah……”

This time all the popcorn spilled out.

With his lap completely covered in popcorn, Eun-jo looked like he was about to cry.

“What even is this……”

“Oops.”

Even if he was eighteen, Eun-jo still knew this had gone far beyond an accident.

Sharply narrowing his eyes, he gathered the popcorn scattered across his thighs into both hands.

Then dumped it all onto Jung Tae-seok’s thighs.

“It was an accident for me too.”

Now it was Eun-jo’s turn to invade.

He shoved a hand onto Jung Tae-seok’s solid thigh and stroked along the inside just like he’d done earlier.

“Yeo Eun-jo!”

“The popcorn fell all the way in here. I have to get it out.”

Without the slightest fear, slender fingers climbed higher up his thigh.

At the long-awaited touch, Jung Tae-seok’s cock started hardening eagerly beneath his clothes.

Every spot Eun-jo touched burned like it had been branded.

Clueless Yeo Eun-jo kept rubbing deeper and longer along his thigh.

That innocent face, completely unaware of desire, made Jung Tae-seok feel like his heart was going to explode.

Freely touching the rigid Jung Tae-seok however he pleased, Eun-jo finally stopped at his left pocket.

“Hyung, what did you put in your pocket?”

An Esper weapon?

Eun-jo grabbed hold of the thick, long object. The moment he did, it swelled and twitched in his hand.

“Huh? It’s moving……”

“……”

“Uh—uh, it’s getting bigger.”

Gnashing his teeth, Jung Tae-seok grabbed both of Eun-jo’s hands in one of his own.

Then he buried his forehead against them.

“Hyung?”

“Stay still.”

Because I’m about to die.

Jung Tae-seok muttered lowly.

“Be quiet and watch the movie.”

I can’t watch if you don’t let go……

Eun-jo swallowed his complaint the moment he noticed the veins bulging across Jung Tae-seok’s forehead.

Was it expensive?

Well, if it was an Esper weapon, maybe it really was expensive.

Without realizing it was anything else, Eun-jo nodded obediently. All that remained now was Jung Tae-seok praying.

Fuck, just wait until Yeo Eun-jo comes back.

The sound of his teeth grinding escaped viciously through clenched jaws.

***

None of the movie stayed in Eun-jo’s head.

He didn’t know if it was because his hands had been restrained or because Jung Tae-seok had been sitting too close.

Until the ending credits rolled, Eun-jo desperately stared only at the corner of the screen.

My body feels weird.

Once heated up, his body showed no signs of cooling down.

The dull ache in his lower stomach continued even after they left the theater and got into the car.

At least Jung Tae-seok pretending not to notice was fortunate, all things considered.

Sitting in the passenger seat, Eun-jo let out a long breath.

Even climbing into the car with his legs spread apart felt strangely stimulating.

“What’s wrong? Are you uncomfortable somewhere?”

“No.”

Eun-jo answered immediately as he fastened his seatbelt.
