Paired with My Childhood Friend 56

The Tempter vs. The Tempted (5)

When Chi-yu turned the power back on, Tae-oh slipped an arm around his waist and pulled him in. Drawn helplessly into Tae-oh’s arms, Chi-yu glanced down at his phone.

“…What the hell, why did you send me so many messages?”

“There was nothing to do in my room.”

“You could’ve just assumed my battery died if I didn’t answer.”

“Mm. But there was nothing to do in my room.”

Still holding him, Tae-oh pressed his face against Chi-yu’s stomach.

“You smell like alcohol.”

Chi-yu stroked his hair lightly, murmuring.

Tae-oh looked up at him.

“You do too.”

“I had three cans of beer.”

“I had two.”

“Jun-hyung doesn’t even drink beer.”

“So what?”

“He was your first partner. You should at least know that.”

“First partner, my ass. My first everything has always been you.”

The sudden, out-of-nowhere sweetness made Chi-yu’s face flush bright red.

Seriously, how did someone who’d never even dated manage lines like this?

He hadn’t seen them, hadn’t practiced them—yet they came naturally. If it was instinct, then this guy was good at literally everything.

“Your face is red again.”

Tae-oh pointed at him with a little jerk of his chin.

Chi-yu had heard that before.

He raised a brow, frowning.

“It’s just a reflex. Pretend you didn’t notice.”

“Want me to make it pale again?”

He’d heard that one too.

“Forget it. Just stop focusing on my face.”

“Can’t. Your face is my second treasure.”

Buzzed from the alcohol, warmth spread through him, and the words—second treasure—made him feel oddly good.

But then a thought hit him: So what’s number one?

“What’s the first, then?”

He asked directly.

Pressed so close together, the pounding of his heart rang clearly in Tae-oh’s ears.

Resting his chin against Chi-yu’s lower abdomen, Tae-oh tilted his head up with a lazy smile.

“Want me to kiss you, Chi-yu?”

“Stop this! Calm down!”

Do-il, collapsed on the floor, reached desperately toward Min Yu-hyun. His shirt buttons were ripped open, his chest completely exposed.

It had started when Yu-hyun, sipping wine, caught sight of Do-il’s collarbone peeking through the shirt.

Yu-hyun liked firm, well-built bodies, and Beom Do-il’s physique was right up his alley.

So when he was already tipsy, that glimpse of collarbone had been too much. He’d tugged at Do-il’s shirt, wanting to see more of his abs.

Do-il panicked, trying to pull away, but Yu-hyun had popped the buttons, and with the recoil, Do-il fell hard onto the floor, struggling to keep his shirt closed as Yu-hyun tried to pull it apart.

“I only said I wanted to look! Why are you being so stingy?”

“W-wait! Hold on! You’re drunk, aren’t you!?”

“I’m not drunk. I just want to look. What, will looking wear it out?”

“That’s not the issue—!”

“Then just take it off. I’ll only look.”

“Why are you doing this!!”

Do-il crossed his arms in an X to cover himself.

Yu-hyun just stared at him, then began undoing his own buttons.

“Wha—!? W-what are you doing, Guide Min Yu-hyun!! Please snap out of it!!”

“It’ll be awkward if you’re the only one undressed. I’ll show you mine too. Let’s both strip.”

And Yu-hyun really did peel his shirt off, tossing it aside as he strode closer.

Do-il froze in shock at the sight of his pale, bare torso. By the time Yu-hyun reached for him again, Do-il was still too stunned to move.

In the end, the room held only two half-naked men.

Do-il, collapsed on the floor, propped up weakly on his elbows.

Yu-hyun, standing over him, eyes roaming hungrily across his toned muscles.

The wine had left a faint flush on Yu-hyun’s cheeks, and his eyes gleamed all the brighter for it.

He crouched down, staring at Do-il’s rigid face.

“Can I touch you?”

“W-what!?”

“You can touch me too, Esper Beom Do-il. I’ll let you.”

“N-no, no no no no! Absolutely not!”

Yu-hyun’s hand hovered toward his abs, but Do-il scrambled backward, shaking his head wildly.

“Why won’t you let me?”

“Why do you even want to!?”

“Because I like it. Slim but solid, perfectly built.”

“Ugh…”

“And your abs—just right. I like them.”

Yu-hyun’s gaze dropped lower.

“And this part’s cute too.”

Flustered and red with humiliation, Do-il could only stare at him, helpless.

When Yu-hyun leaned in closer, Do-il thrust out a hand in panic.

“Y-you can’t do this!”

Yu-hyun glanced down at his hand, then raised his eyes to meet his.

His already striking face, flushed with alcohol, carried an indecent sort of beauty. Do-il swallowed hard before realizing.

“You can touch me too.”

“I told you I won’t! A-and why are you suddenly speaking informally!?”

“Because I’m two years older.”

“……”

“Want to call me hyung?”

“Ugh.”

Before Do-il could pull back, Yu-hyun suddenly grabbed his hand.

Do-il flinched, shuddering.

“You’re trembling.”

Yu-hyun muttered, eyes fixed on Do-il’s twitching fingers.

Flustered, Do-il tried to pull back, but Yu-hyun licked his lips slowly and whispered,

“Want to try?”

Even without saying what, Do-il knew instantly.

Terrified, he shoved Yu-hyun away.

“Ah!”

Yu-hyun toppled backward, about to hit his head, but Do-il quickly conjured a cushion of water beneath him.

Instead of the floor, Yu-hyun fell into the watery cushion, smiling lazily.

Do-il scrambled to his feet.

“You’re clearly drunk. Maybe it’s best you get some sleep now!”

Yu-hyun looked up, eyes glittering.

“Aren’t you curious about S-rank Guiding? It’s something you’d never get in your dreams, isn’t it?”

Stretching his long legs, Yu-hyun rubbed his foot against Do-il’s.

Do-il glanced down, then stepped back quickly.

Yu-hyun sighed, rising to his feet.

Do-il instinctively retreated again as Yu-hyun reached for his belt.

“What are you doing?”

“Offering you Guiding. While I’m in the mood.”

“You’ll regret this when you sober up. Let’s stop here.”

“I said I’ll play with you while I’m drunk. You should be grateful, Esper Beom Do-il.”

Do-il squeezed his eyes shut.

“Just don’t come clinging every night after, begging for more.”

Do-il’s throat bobbed as he backed away.

But Yu-hyun came closer, reaching out.

Immediately, Do-il wrapped him in waves of water.

The liquid coiled like jelly, lifting Yu-hyun’s body into the air.

“What the—!”

Yu-hyun shouted.

Ignoring him, Do-il fetched a fresh T-shirt, stripped off the torn one, pulled it over his head, then gathered Yu-hyun’s discarded clothes.

“What the hell are you doing?”

“Taking you back.”

“What!?”

Struggling in the watery bindings, Yu-hyun shouted.

Do-il grabbed his ear, teleported them both into Yu-hyun’s room, and laid him gently on the bed as the water dissolved.

“Get some rest. You’ve worked hard this week. And… thanks for the gift.”

“Hey.”

“But are we really speaking informally now? I don’t mind.”

“You idiot! Walking away from a feast laid out right in front of you!?”

Hand on the doorknob, Do-il turned back.

“My feast is only Lee Jun-hyung.”

Yu-hyun’s expression instantly twisted.

“Then, sleep well. Hyung.”

The door closed behind him.

Yu-hyun’s scowl slowly melted into a deep blush.

It wasn’t the rejection that lingered—it was how strangely good it felt, hearing Beom Do-il call him hyung.

Chi-yu had always been more comfortable giving than receiving.

But lately, with Hyun Tae-oh, it felt like he was always on the receiving end.

Maybe that’s why he felt the urge to do something for him.

Touching, hugging, kissing—it was enough to spark pleasure, but never enough to truly satisfy.

Especially not for Tae-oh.

Even now, bound tightly in his arms, Chi-yu knew this alone wouldn’t be enough.

So he resolved to do what Tae-oh seemed to want most.

Summoning the courage wasn’t hard.

It wasn’t the first time they’d been like this, and he wasn’t so naïve as to always stay passive.

Well—only when it came to Hyun Tae-oh.

Just as Tae-oh had once done to him, Chi-yu pushed him down.

For a second, Tae-oh looked surprised at the sudden reversal. But then his gaze softened, accepting everything Chi-yu gave.

Clumsy, yes, but more than enough to excite.

Tae-oh’s ragged breaths, his faint gasps of pleasure, sent Chi-yu’s pulse racing.

It wasn’t just the bliss of receiving—giving him what he wanted brought just as much ecstasy.

It stirred both a sense of conquest and a deep possessiveness.

They lost themselves in each other, unaware of time passing.

And when their passion reached its peak, they truly became one.

***

They didn’t know how many times they’d done it.

But when even that hunger had finally been sated, the expressions they shared brimmed with satisfaction.

At least, Chi-yu’s did.

Tae-oh still looked restless, as if something was missing.

Seeing his half-lidded eyes fixed on him, Chi-yu quickly shook his head.

“Not again.”

At that, Tae-oh’s lips curved into a quiet smile.

“Mm. Then I’ll just touch you.”

So yes, unsated.

Whatever he meant by touch—and for however long—it was clear sleep wasn’t coming soon.

Chi-yu swallowed hard and murmured,

“Can’t we just sleep? I’m really exhausted.”

Praying desperately this would be the end—just for tonight.
