A laugh escaped at Imun’s shallow tactics. Ever since the day Hajun mentioned going to Korea, Imun would request video calls at every opportunity, openly trying to persuade him. Recently, almost all their conversations had ended with “if you come to Korea, I can do all this for you.”
Anyone else would have gotten serious and asked why he was being so persistent, but Imun’s behavior was simply endearing. Hajun wondered when Imun had transformed from a cautious stray cat to a dog eagerly awaiting its owner’s return.

His grin faded as he checked the chat with a startled expression. Perhaps because he’d neglected the broadcast and was just typing on his keyboard, the viewers were sulking and making sharp deductions.

The chat instantly erupted in laughter, taking his statement as an empty boast. Actions spoke louder than words. After loading up plenty of game currency, he showcased his mouse movements honed through gaming.
By the time the total gift amount exceeded Imun’s donations, Hajun finally noticed the viewers envying Imun and scratched his head.
“Hmm, I’d like to give gifts to all of you too, but… let’s do this. From now on, I’ll give gifts to everyone who subscribes to the channel… until the million won runs out. Just to be clear, this is Imun-nim treating you all. The gifts I gave to Imun-nim are my personal presents!”
Before he could finish speaking, subscription notifications poured in non-stop. Amidst the uproar of current subscribers asking what they should do and new subscribers shouting out their desired skins, he quietly opened KaTok.

- Face to Face
A cool breeze fluttered the curtains as it entered the room. After enjoying a brief sunbath under the shining sun, Hajun busily began tidying up his room. It was good running weather—neither too hot nor too cold—for the first time in a while.
He took out winter clothes he’d stored in the built-in closet and thoroughly dusted the shelves. After finishing the cleaning he’d dedicated the entire morning to, he entered the living room where his grandmother was watering plants.
They say regular moderate exercise is good for health. Though he couldn’t do it often, he thought he should at least work up a good sweat today. “I’m going out for a bit,” he called out loudly, and just as he was about to open the front door, she followed behind him.
“Going to exercise?”
“Yeah. Why? Should I pick something up on the way back?”
“No. You’re going to run along the river today too, right? Should I expect you back in about two hours?”
He couldn’t quite remember the last time he’d worked up a sweat. Nodding at her unusually specific question about his return time, he pushed his heels into his running shoes.
