The Half-Demon Hero Loves the Third Prince 5.3

Preparing for a Sweet Life (Part 3)-5.3

In the blink of an eye, the day of the wedding banquet had arrived. It was the height of spring, and outside the window, a cloudless blue sky stretched endlessly. Inside, the grand hall of the royal castle—glittering beneath a chandelier’s glow—was adorned far more extravagantly than any banquet before.

Once again, the event was a standing reception. Neatly arranged tables were draped with elegant tablecloths, adorned with delicate lace and intricate embroidery. Rare flowers, grown especially for this day, were displayed in vases considered national treasures. The dishes, presented on polished silverware and the finest porcelain, were masterpieces in both presentation and flavor. Guests, comprised of aristocrats and royals from home and abroad, wore attire that gleamed with sophistication.

Yet none of these could outshine Lunarsion’s beauty. Standing on the dais, Dagan, half-listening to Baldred’s formal introduction, found himself completely enraptured by the loveliness of his partner beside him.

The two principal figures of the day wore ceremonial garments crafted from the same fabric and embellished with identical embroidery—although their styles differed. Dagan’s outfit leaned toward a knight’s ceremonial attire, while Lunarsion’s was an elegant design with long, flowing sleeves and a soft, extended hem. The fabrics were rendered in platinum and black, while the embroidery featured dual hues of pale blue and gold. Their hair and eye colors were chosen to harmonize, and the patterns themselves were identical: lavishly sewn with gemstones such as topaz, aquamarine, and diamonds. Notably, Lunarsion’s chest was crowned with Gloriosa’s sparkling topaz necklace, and his hair was interwoven with matching topaz decorations linked by golden chains.

Everything served to accentuate Lunarsion’s allure. From the very first moment he saw him, Dagan’s gaze was utterly fixed on Lunarsion.

“Dagan, it makes me a little embarrassed when you stare like that,” Lunarsion murmured softly. Yet his eyes shone with gentle happiness. Though Dagan felt shy, he simply could not look away.

“Uh, sorry about that—I just can’t help it when you’re so strikingly beautiful,” Dagan replied.

“Hehe. Thank you. You look great too. I’m happy we’re both wearing the same color. Perhaps we should even add more matching outfits to our collection?”

“Indeed. Ah… but there’s an outfit I’d really like to present to you first…”

“Really? Just imagine it: the Hero and the Third Prince, constantly cozying up to each other. I hope everyone will continue to watch over us with delight.”

The venue was enveloped in warm laughter, but Dagan and Lunarsion were lost in each other’s words alone.

And so it came to pass that, even after the wedding reception ended, the two lived happily ever after.
