# Chapter 32
Their eyes met, and he nodded to Hajin in greeting, his face composed as if nothing had happened.
But unlike his pretense of normalcy, his body couldn’t maintain the act—the moment he removed his shoes and set foot on the floor, Cha Jinwoo’s legs wavered.
“Oh!”
Startled, Hajin rushed to support him.
The weight was much heavier than expected, causing Hajin to stagger too, but Cha Jinwoo quickly regained his balance and instead wrapped his arm around Hajin’s waist to prevent them from falling.
Embarrassed at receiving help when he’d meant to provide it, Hajin cleared his throat and tried to move away, but Cha Jinwoo’s firm arms wouldn’t release him.
“Jinwoo-ssi?”
“I’m sorry. Just… just let me stay like this for a moment.”
His soft murmur resembled so much the voice of someone who had finally laid down after days of working overnight that Hajin couldn’t push him away and remained quietly in his embrace.
“Was it very difficult?”
“Hah, the mission itself wasn’t hard, but those anti-government bastards showed up in the middle of it and gave us trouble.”
“Shouldn’t you be receiving Guiding then?”
If he’d faced multiple Espers alone, he would surely need Guiding.
But as soon as Hajin raised his hand, Cha Jinwoo pulled him in closer and shook his head.
“Later. For now, I just want to stay like this a little longer.”
Even though Guiding would clearly help improve his condition, Cha Jinwoo refused.
Hajin couldn’t understand it, but seeing how exhausted Cha Jinwoo looked, he decided to comply with his wishes.
Considerable time passed like that.
Cha Jinwoo, who had been holding Hajin without making a sound for so long that it seemed he might have fallen asleep standing, finally pulled away.
“If you’re going to perform Guiding, let’s go to my room.”
Despite not receiving any Guiding, Cha Jinwoo walked as if he were perfectly fine.
‘Has he recovered?’
The thought crossed Hajin’s mind, but he quickly dismissed it. That wasn’t recovery—just familiarity with the condition.
During Hajin’s absence, he must have relied on medication or Han Jiwoo’s weak Guiding. While that could prevent rampaging, it could never alleviate the pain.
How long had he been living like this before meeting Hajin?
Hajin shook his head. Even so, there was no need for pity. Unwanted sympathy is only unpleasant.
Hajin simply needed to do what he could—Guiding.
Cha Jinwoo’s room was located on the first floor, closest to the entrance. Upon entering, Hajin immediately felt it perfectly reflected its owner.
With no unnecessary items and barely any personal belongings, the neatly organized room felt like a model house, suggesting its owner rarely spent time there.
“I think I need to wash up first, so please sit and wait for a moment.”
“Alright.”
With no appropriate place to sit, Hajin reluctantly sat on the bed and looked around, searching for somewhere to rest his gaze.
With nothing particularly interesting to look at, he was just passing time when the bathroom door suddenly opened and Cha Jinwoo emerged.
“Sorry to keep you waiting.”
He must have come out early because he was concerned about making Hajin wait, as his hair wasn’t properly dried and water was still dripping.
“Sit here.”
“What?”
Despite questioning this unexpected request, Cha Jinwoo dutifully sat where Hajin indicated.
Sitting on the floor in front of Hajin, who was on the bed, Cha Jinwoo let Hajin take the towel from his hand and drape it over his head.
“You’re dripping water all over the floor. Let’s dry your hair first.”
“…I see. Understood.”
If it had been anyone else, Cha Jinwoo would have agreed but ultimately taken the towel back to dry his own hair.
But because it was Hajin, and because he didn’t want to stop the gentle, caressing touch drying his hair, he obediently surrendered to it.
“Haah.”
Though it was nothing special, Cha Jinwoo felt his body growing languid.
Somehow feeling sleepy, he closed his eyes to fully enjoy the relaxed sensation, but the hands that had been moving for some time suddenly stopped.
“Jinwoo-ssi?”
He wanted to respond to Hajin’s call, but his eyes wouldn’t open and his lips wouldn’t move, as if he had truly fallen asleep.
“Is he sleeping? But I need to perform Guiding.”
Wondering if he was really asleep, Hajin carefully tilted his face back. His hand, supporting Cha Jinwoo’s head, touched his cheek.
From the shadow cast over his eyelids, Cha Jinwoo could tell Hajin’s face was very close.
“Hmm, I should check if he has internal injuries too.”
Cha Jinwoo felt the impulse to reach out and pull Hajin’s head down for a kiss, but curious about what Hajin would do, he resisted the urge.
“It feels wrong to do this to someone sleeping, but…”
The softly whispered words fell upon Cha Jinwoo’s lips, followed by the touch of Hajin’s lips.
Perhaps to avoid waking the “sleeping” Cha Jinwoo, the contact was very careful and light.
Hajin felt strange with Cha Jinwoo’s lower lip touching his upper lip and his upper lip touching Hajin’s lower lip—a somewhat misaligned sensation—but he didn’t pull away.
Having faced multiple Espers alone, Cha Jinwoo might have overused his abilities.
And perhaps now, while Cha Jinwoo was asleep, was the ideal time. After all, both Baek Jaan and Han Seungho had been unable to control their excitement.
After hesitating briefly, Hajin moved his tongue to part Cha Jinwoo’s lips and entered. Perhaps because their faces were positioned opposite each other, the sensation was even stranger.
As he felt Hajin’s tongue, Cha Jinwoo’s fists, resting on the floor, clenched.
Feeling Hajin carefully moving to wrap around his tongue, which was lying obediently in place, Cha Jinwoo couldn’t hold back anymore and raised his hand to cradle the back of Hajin’s head.
“Mmph!”
Firmly but never forcefully, Cha Jinwoo cradled Hajin’s head, opened his mouth as if he had never been drowsy, and fully welcomed him.
Hajin, frozen in surprise, couldn’t respond at all when Cha Jinwoo gently wrapped around his stiffened tongue and then strongly sucked on his lower lip.
The wet, sticky sounds created by their flesh continued for some time.
“Mmm…”
Only when Hajin, breathless, finally tapped his shoulder did Cha Jinwoo release him.
Cha Jinwoo looked up at Hajin, who was catching his breath. Though Hajin appeared upside down due to the tilted angle, his flushed cheeks, moistened lips, and unusually disheveled expression were clear.
“Ah, I was supposed to perform Guiding.”
Catching his breath, Hajin clicked his tongue at his mistake. It wasn’t even his first time, and he had initiated the kiss for Guiding, yet he’d forgotten to actually perform it because he was flustered when his supposedly sleeping partner responded.
‘Maybe I should kiss more often to get used to it.’
While the Espers would welcome such news, it was a thought that his former self would have questioned as insane, yet now Hajin thought it casually.
Hearing Hajin’s words, Cha Jinwoo straightened his tilted head and stood up. He lifted Hajin, who was sitting on the edge of the bed, and placed him further in, then positioned himself between Hajin’s legs.
As Cha Jinwoo’s solid body moved in, Hajin’s legs naturally spread wide, creating an embarrassing position. But as if only Hajin was concerned about this, Cha Jinwoo cupped his cheek and leaned in.
“Then let’s do it again. Kiss.”
“Wait, I need a break, mmph.”
Hajin called for a timeout, but Cha Jinwoo, unable to hold back any longer, didn’t stop. Even without Guiding, the kiss somehow felt like quenching a thirst.
With Cha Jinwoo pressing down on him almost aggressively, Hajin’s back awkwardly bent as he tried to resist, but eventually his trembling body gave in, and he had to lie back on the bed.
Even with his arms braced against the bed, Hajin wasn’t strong enough to endure the weight of the man covering him.
Anyway, their lips separated again, but Hajin was now frustrated at having forgotten to perform Guiding once more, distracted by the kiss.
Had he always been this stupid? Forgetting what he needed to do because he was distracted by a mere kiss—it was unthinkable for Hajin, who wasn’t even a teenage boy going through puberty.
Feeling determined, Hajin grabbed the back of Cha Jinwoo’s head as he approached for another kiss.
They nearly had the misfortune of their teeth colliding, but who was his partner? Thanks to Cha Jinwoo’s skillful stop just before their faces met, that disaster was avoided.
However, with their noses touching and eyes meeting at such close proximity, both closed their eyes without any prompt and sought each other’s lips.
Still not accustomed to the sensation of their tongues touching, Hajin’s hand gripping the back of Cha Jinwoo’s head tightened.
Feeling a shiver from the fingers running through his hair and pressing against his scalp, Cha Jinwoo furrowed his brow and kissed him even more deeply.
By this point, Hajin had to admit it—he was thoroughly pursuing this act that sought only pleasure.
Simply put, he enjoyed the kiss he was sharing with Cha Jinwoo.
‘But three times is too much.’
If Hajin had initiated it just for the sake of kissing, that would be one thing, but this had started with the purpose of Guiding.
The fact that they were on their third kiss without any Guiding yet wounded Hajin’s pride.
While curling his toes at the sensation of Cha Jinwoo’s tongue grazing the roof of his mouth, Hajin infused his Guiding.
As Cha Jinwoo’s movements became more intense from the Guiding felt at the tip of their touching tongues, Hajin continued the Guiding even while gasping for breath.
“Hnngh, mmm…”
Before they knew it, they were rolling on the bed, wrapped in each other’s arms.
