# Chapter 49
The kiss that started again was deeper than before.
Domin’s tongue pressed in, not giving Jeongyun room to breathe, tickling his sensitive palate and wrapping around Jeongyun’s stiff tongue.
As the kiss continued, Jeongyun’s head tilted further back until his legs weakened, and he almost fell. If Domin hadn’t caught him quickly, something bad might have happened.
“If we keep kissing here, you might crack your head open.”
“What do you mean… Woah!”
Domin smiled and lifted Jeongyun into his arms. Finding himself at an unfamiliar height, Jeongyun blinked his eyes. Domin looked up and kissed him, then asked, “Where’s the bedroom?”
When Jeongyun raised his hand to point toward the bedroom, Domin headed straight there. Even while moving, Domin’s lips kept touching different parts of Jeongyun’s face. It made his heart flutter.
Domin carefully placed Jeongyun on the bed and quickly took off his top. The imprint on his left chest was clear.
Before Jeongyun could fix his messy hair, their lips met again. Domin bit Jeongyun’s lower lip, and when his mouth opened, Domin’s hot tongue stirred inside, making Jeongyun feel like he was losing his mind.
“Wait, mmph.”
Jeongyun couldn’t focus because the Guiding was happening too fast. When he finally managed to stop Domin, Jeongyun’s shirt had already fallen to the floor.
“What’s wrong?”
Domin asked, sensitive to the broken flow.
Looking at Domin’s eyes, which were close to losing control, Jeongyun first caught his breath. Then he said calmly, “You… you said you’d control the intensity of the Guiding…”
“Huh…”
After coming all the way to the bed, talking about controlling the Guiding seemed ridiculous to Domin.
“Instead of talking about that, focus on me.”
“What? …mmph.”
Domin grabbed Jeongyun’s struggling foot and bit his thin ankle. When he kissed the white skin where his teeth had left marks, Jeongyun’s face turned bright red.
“I won’t be rough.”
Until now, they’d only done Guiding when Jeongyun was suffering badly from side effects, so there had been no time to consider Jeongyun’s feelings. But now, they had more room to breathe, so Domin wouldn’t push too hard.
“Close your eyes.”
Domin whispered after moving up from Jeongyun’s ankle.
Closing his eyes here probably meant allowing the Guiding. After thinking about it, Jeongyun lowered his trembling eyelashes.
Looking down at Jeongyun waiting with his eyes closed, Domin’s lips curved into a smile. It was a gentle smile he wasn’t even aware of.
“Good job.”
With that kind praise, a different kind of Guiding from usual began.
* * *
When Jeongyun opened his eyes, sunlight was streaming through the blinds. He reached out to grab the desk clock and checked the time. There was still plenty of time before work.
Thinking he could sleep more, he was about to close his eyes when something he’d forgotten flashed through his mind. Jeongyun sat up quickly and looked around.
“Ah…”
It was his normal, ordinary room, just like always. So much so that last night seemed like a dream. Of course, that couldn’t have been real. It must have all been a dream.
As he relaxed, his eyelids grew heavy. Just as he was about to lie back down, something heavy gently wrapped around his waist.
When he looked to the side, sleep completely left him.
“…Heup!”
Jeongyun quickly covered his mouth with his hand. Otherwise, he would have screamed loudly enough to shake the room.
And for good reason – this early in the morning, in his own bed, Choi Domin was there.
‘It wasn’t a dream…’
Last night, as promised, Domin had done a different kind of Guiding. Since he hadn’t pushed too hard, Jeongyun didn’t lose consciousness after the Guiding for the first time.
Still, his body felt lazy, so he had put off washing and just lay in bed. Then Domin, who had used the bathroom first, came to Jeongyun and said:
‘I’ll stay overnight.’
‘What?’
At first, Jeongyun didn’t understand what Domin meant and just opened his eyes wide. Then Domin repeated himself. He would sleep here.
At those words, Jeongyun jumped up and said he would wash first, then went to the bathroom. When he finished his quick shower and came out, Domin was still there.
‘Should I sleep on the sofa?’
‘There’s no need for that. Your bed is big enough.’
It was one surprise after another.
Jeongyun had brought blankets and a pillow, planning to sleep on the sofa, but after Domin’s words, he went back to the bedroom. Then he lay down next to Domin and tried to sleep.
Jeongyun couldn’t believe what was happening and kept glancing at the sleeping Domin. He tossed and turned for a long time before finally falling asleep.
Even after a day had passed, Jeongyun still couldn’t fully believe this situation. Domin sleeping next to him? His heart raced.
‘He sleeps well.’
Jeongyun had thought Domin would be sensitive about sleeping arrangements, but he slept more comfortably than expected. Jeongyun carefully leaned forward to look closely at the sleeping Domin.
Dark eyebrows, clear features, long eyelashes, a high nose, and slightly closed pinkish lips. Every part of him was perfectly made.
‘…He’s really handsome.’
While Jeongyun was admiring the sleeping Domin, he suddenly found himself looking into clearly open eyes. He had been so lost in thought that he hadn’t noticed Domin waking up.
“Oh, did you sleep well?”
Domin smirked at Jeongyun’s belated greeting. As he slowly sat up, the blanket fell to his waist, revealing his bare upper body.
Startled, Jeongyun quickly turned his head away, but his eyes kept trying to wander back. He had to hold his cheeks and turn them the other way.
Meanwhile, after finishing a light stretch, Domin got out of bed. After checking the clock on the wall, he said to Jeongyun, “I’ll shower first.”
“Okay—”
Jeongyun stopped mid-answer as his eyes shook widely. He was sure Domin had worn something before sleeping, but now he wasn’t wearing anything.
Seeing Jeongyun’s confusion, Domin smiled playfully and turned away from the bathroom. He bent down next to the bed, deliberately making eye contact with Jeongyun.
“Your face is red.”
“T-that’s—”
“What’s there to be embarrassed about? I see everything during Guiding anyway.”
Domin was right, but they weren’t doing Guiding now. Domin lightly kissed the forehead of the troubled Jeongyun and then went to the bathroom, saying he’d really shower now.
*Click.*
Only after hearing the door close could Jeongyun finally exhale. Seeing Domin in the morning was bad for his heart in many ways.
Lying back on the bed, Jeongyun reached out to feel the spot where Domin had been lying. Though faint, it was still warm.
Jeongyun turned to his side and hugged the pillow deeply infused with Domin’s scent. With his eyes closed, he could hear the shower running in the bathroom.
This really wasn’t a dream.
Domin was here.
‘For some reason, he seems to have become gentler.’
The bouquet he brought on purpose, staying after Guiding, the tender skinship. All these were things couples would do.
‘I shouldn’t get the wrong idea.’
If he allowed himself to hope, he would end up hurt. He knew this, but Domin’s different attitude foolishly made him wonder if things might be different this time.
‘That bouquet was originally meant for me anyway.’
If there hadn’t been a delivery problem, it would have been Jeongyun, not Saeon, who would have happily received Domin’s bouquet in front of everyone. Though it was just words, that was enough. Any hurt feelings had been completely resolved long ago.
Jeongyun put down the pillow and got out of bed to go to the living room. He found the bouquet they had put on the table during yesterday’s Guiding.
The flowers had wilted a lot in one day, but they would easily last a week if put in a vase. Or he could hang them upside down to make dried flowers.
‘I’m so happy.’
Jeongyun hugged the full bouquet and spun around the living room. Meanwhile, Domin, who had finished his shower, spotted Jeongyun and barely held back his laughter.
‘What’s he so happy about?’
Just as Domin was about to approach Jeongyun, he felt a strong vibration from the imprint on his chest. Stopping in his tracks, Domin looked down to examine the imprint.
‘What’s this? It feels normal.’
It felt the same even when he touched the imprint with his hand. There was nothing strange.
Maybe he was just imagining things because it had been a while since they’d done Guiding. After dwelling on that momentary sensation, Domin pushed away the uneasy feeling and approached Jeongyun.
