# Chapter 8
I felt déjà vu from Christmas. Remembering how exhausted I was from playing back then, I approached him, and the Omega friends sitting around greeted me. Among them were the two Omegas I had played with last time.
Kim Bojin, true to being a popular person in this era, occupied the center of the table. Fortunately, people were kind enough to make room for me. I sat next to Kim Bojin, pulled his ear, and said:
“Be honest. How many drinks have you had?”
“Not much.”
“Bojin. My friend. I don’t want to lose you early. Confess before I tell your mother.”
While I was talking with Kim Bojin, someone tapped me from the side. When I turned my head, there was a very pretty female Omega. Even though she was clearly an Omega, she was so pretty that I couldn’t help but keep looking at her.
“Hello. You’re Yuri, right?”
“Oh, yes.”
“I’ve heard a lot about you from Bojin. Nice to meet you. I’m Kwon Mir.”
“Nice to meet you too.”
“By the way, Bojin said he doesn’t like soju or vodka, so he only drank 500cc of beer.”
500cc? He’s staggering after drinking just that? I looked at Kim Bojin with contempt and said:
“Bojin, are you a lightweight?”
“Shut up.”
“Okay, okay. Baby, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t call a fool a fool.”
While calmly ignoring Kim Bojin’s outburst beside me, I looked around. Only then did I realize that all the Omegas sitting at our table were staring at me.
“Um… hello?”
I awkwardly raised my hand in greeting. I controlled my emotions so that my awkwardness wouldn’t show in my lightly released rose scent. After I greeted them, the Omegas returned my greeting one by one.
“You’re Yuri, right? A dominant Omega!”
“Yes, that’s right.”
“Wow… that’s amazing. This is my first time seeing a dominant Omega!”
“Me too, me too!”
“Really?”
Kim Bojin was a good guy who didn’t discriminate based on traits or family background. From the conversation, it seemed like these kids didn’t meet Kim Bojin at school.
While I was happily chatting with the new friends, a problem arose.
“Huh…? Are you Yeon Yuri?”
I had met someone who knew Yeon Yuri. I turned my creaking neck like a robot to look at the Alpha who was passing by our table.
“The face and the pheromones. It’s you. Yeon Yuri.”
Cold sweat ran down my back. At school, there was a consistent group of people who were close to Yeon Yuri. Kim Bojin and others. Plus, since everyone at school knew Yeon Yuri’s personality, I could get by smoothly without having to memorize names. I also hadn’t gone to school for a few days.
But this time was different. An Alpha?
I didn’t know. Was this Alpha Yeon Yuri’s ex-boyfriend, or just a friend? Did he have feelings for Yeon Yuri or not?
Damn, Yeon Yuri’s past actions were such a burden. I was picking up and cleaning the mess Yeon Yuri had left behind one by one.
While I was frozen, the man sent his Alpha friends away first and looked at me again.
“It’s been a while? You didn’t answer my calls after that time. And now we meet in a place like this. Seems like we’re fated.”
He placed his hand on our table with a cheesy smile like a butter-grilled squid. A nutty avocado scent pierced through my dulled nose.
The five or six Omegas sitting at our table all stopped talking and watched the confrontation between me and the Alpha man.
When I continued to remain silent, the man brushed back his hair and snickered.
“I thought so. Yeon Yuri. You don’t remember me, do you?”
I was startled by those words. Does he know I lost my memory? I quickly contained my pheromones that showed signs of agitation. Fortunately, it seemed like no one noticed.
“Your bad personality hasn’t changed.”
After saying that, he whispered so that only I could hear:
“Slutty bastard.”
It took me a few seconds to understand those words. Slut? Yeon Yuri?
Ah. This bastard slept with Yeon Yuri.
As soon as I reached that realization, anger surged. Whether it was Yeon Yuri’s anger or mine, I wasn’t sure, but a piercing rose scent directed at him. He must be feeling like his whole body was being pounded with rose thorns.
“Hey. If we rolled around together, why am I the only trash? You’re trash too.”
He was barely standing, holding onto the table.
I grabbed his collar and quietly recited in his ear:
“And if you don’t want to die, watch your mouth. What would you do if I got so angry that I messed with your lower region? Do I look like someone who would die alone?”
At the restaurant before, I didn’t spray pheromones on just one person, but now it was different. A dominant Omega could target and spray scent only on specific people. And I was making full use of that advantage.
“Yuri. Take it easy. He’s going to get an erection at this rate.”
Kim Bojin whispered quietly in my ear.
“What the hell?”
I looked at the Alpha in front of me like someone who had eaten shit-flavored curry. Looking at his lower area, Kim Bojin was right. A damp and unpleasant scent was rising from below.
I was crazy enough to pride myself on understanding all sorts of preferences in this world… but when a guy who just cursed me to my face acted like that, I didn’t care about understanding; I just wanted to kick him in the crotch.
“You psycho…”
I let go of his collar with a jerk. Despite being an Alpha, he stumbled and collapsed to the floor. I pressed the call button attached under the table. Soon a waiter approached, and I explained the situation. Eventually, the Alpha was escorted out of the club by guards.
“Yuri… are you okay?”
“Yeah. You must be really shocked. An Alpha suddenly approaching like that.”
After he disappeared, the Omega friends comforted me. They clearly saw me as a pitiful Omega who had been harassed by an Alpha. It seemed Yeon Yuri’s reputation hadn’t reached here.
I trembled slightly. I looked at my friends while swallowing dry saliva.
“No. I feel like I ruined the mood because of me. I’m sorry.”
They waved their hands saying it wasn’t true and that it was okay. Their Omega pheromones wrapped around me warmly. This was nice too. According to what I learned from my sister, companion Alpha pheromones give stability to Omegas. Same Omega pheromones were also stable and good.

In the midst of their comfort, I pretended to be cheerful and ordered drinks. At Kim Bojin’s disapproving glance, I signaled him to shut up. Kim Bojin, who owed me, kept his mouth shut accordingly.
“Shall we drink again?”
“Yes!”
With that, the table became lively again. I exchanged contact information with the Omegas at the table. As each drink went down, I felt better and better. Before we knew it, we were having fun as if we had forgotten about meeting that crazy bastard.
“I love strawberries! I love strawberries!”
“Yunji’s~ favorite~ random game!”
“Oh, this is fun. This is great. The Game of Death! 17!”
The drinking games were quite fun. Even though there were only Omegas, maybe because of my memories from my previous world, having female friends made it enjoyable.
“Finally, Yuri got caught!”
And so far, we had ordered three bottles, but I had only drunk one glass.
It’s partly because I was good at drinking games, but also because that’s how drinking games work. It’s an unchanging rule that the person who gets caught at first keeps getting caught. It was nearly impossible for someone who was bad at the game and already tipsy to beat sober people.
I was supposed to shout “carrot carrot” but I drank a penalty shot for the crime of just sitting there blankly. The hot soju went down my throat.
“Let’s play one more round!”
“Yeah! Yuri’s~ favorite~ random game!”
After playing who knows how many rounds, and after six people had drunk seventeen bottles of soju, we were all completely wasted. Except for Kim Bojin. That bastard must have cheated somehow. How could he not get caught even once in nearly a hundred rounds of drinking games?
“Ugh… Mir… the world is spinning…”
I was babbling nonsense like someone drowning in alcohol.
“Yuri? Yuri. Where are you? I can’t smell my pheromones… boo hoo…”
“As long as the East Sea’s waves and Mount Baekdu endure…”
People’s drunk behaviors were really diverse. There were those who flirted, those who cried, and those who sang.
In the end, the cleanup was Kim Bojin’s responsibility, the only one still sober. He opened each person’s cell phone and contacted their guardians.
“Yeon Yuri. Should I call your sister Yujeong?”
“No, Bojin… don’t abandon me… I’ll be beaten with a broom on my bottom and get frostbite on my butt and die…”
“Damn. I don’t know. You said not to call your sister?”
I cried loudly, becoming one with the table as I lay down, then tightly hugged Mir who was sitting next to me.
