# Chapter 15
It was already hurtful how women at the university were attracted to Kyun Jiho, treating other men like rocks. Now, being introduced to someone of the same gender made him feel like crying.
Besides, wasn’t this person just trying to shake hands?
‘Why does he keep holding my hand?’
Trying to pull his hand away from Haeil’s firm grip, Jaeha made up an excuse.
“I need to clean up too, so I’ll head inside.”
“The air here isn’t good. It would be better to leave it to professionals and rest somewhere safe.”
Just as Jaeha wondered why this place wouldn’t be safe, someone turned on the air purifier which started running at full power.
“Let’s go outside.”
“What? Um, excuse me.”
Even though Haeil was guiding him gently, he was so skilled that Jaeha was naturally pulled outside. At times like this, shouldn’t Jaeyoon step in to stop this? When he looked back, it was quite a sight.
There was his younger brother waving goodbye with dreamy eyes like a father sending his grown son off to marriage. No, those eyes looked more like someone watching a cow being sold off.
“Jae, Jaeyoon too! You should bring him along!”
Desperately shouting because he couldn’t die alone, Jaeha was frantic. However, Jaeyoon misunderstood Jaeha’s desperation.
“As expected, hyung always thinks of me first.”
Jaeha couldn’t tell Jaeyoon that he’d grabbed him because he felt like he was being sold off alone, especially when Jaeyoon was being touched by his words for the wrong reason.
Haeil made a phone call somewhere, and shortly after, people who looked like service workers rushed in and started cleaning the house. While they were removing burnt wallpaper and even redecorating, Dojoon and Youngwoo, who didn’t want to leave, were sent home.
When Jaeha’s expression relaxed thinking he could finally catch his breath, Haeil suggested with a smile:
“Then shall we have a meal while the cleaning finishes? I often go to places with private rooms, so you can eat comfortably.”
Unlike Jiho’s greasy flirting earlier in the day, despite Haeil’s polite attitude, Jaeha became wary. The behavior of a man constantly trying to take him somewhere, and Jaeyoon not stopping it but just watching, made him even more suspicious.
“I don’t eat with strangers.”
“We see each other every day.”
Haeil, who had been using formal speech until now, spoke casually with a trustworthy smile while talking nonsense.
“I don’t see anyone every day.”
“Bilhil-nim.”
“Ugh, y-yes?”
Jaeha’s pupils shook uncontrollably when Haeil, with a fresh smile that could appear on a public service poster, suddenly called out his game name. Haeil’s smile deepened, showing his pleasure at the reunion.
“You’re ‘BilmyeonHiljunda-nim,’ right? In the guild, we called you Bilhil-nim.”
Shocked by suddenly hearing his nickname in real life, Jaeha wanted to cover Jaeyoon’s ears who was standing next to him. He didn’t want his family to know his embarrassing nickname.
Besides, guild? Who was this handsome young man?
“We hunted together every day.”
Who are you?
“I’m Guild Master Haeil. My real name is Kwon Haeil.”
‘Damn. I should have at least used a real person’s name too.’
Guild Master Haeil. He never thought his name would be his real name. Moreover, the situation where the guild master suddenly appeared in front of his house with his brother didn’t feel real.
Unlike the flustered Jaeha, Haeil consistently maintained his confident, trustworthy smile.
“It’s nice to meet you in person, Bilhil-nim.”
“Ugh, please call me by my name. I’m Seo Jaeha.”
“Yes, Seo Jaeha-ssi. It suits you well.”
‘What is this awkward self-introduction moment?’
While Haeil remained relaxed throughout, Jaeha was dying of embarrassment. Haeil, who didn’t lose his smile even in this awkwardness, was a true guild master. Indeed, being a charismatic guild master wasn’t something anyone could do.
“Seo Jaeyoon-ssi, ah, your younger brother, seemed to have many worries because of you.”
Not able to guess what conversation they had, Jaeha couldn’t freely open his mouth.
“I came to show you proof. Since you didn’t believe your brother, I wanted to be that proof.”
This was the moment Jaeha realized that the guild master who had seemed normal wasn’t.
While Jaeha couldn’t react, Haeil raised his hand.
“I can use fire.”
Whoosh.
Without any warning, flames rose from Haeil’s hand. When Jaeha’s somewhat sullen eyes began to sparkle with curiosity, Haeil’s smile deepened, thinking he could persuade him.
“Huh? Wow! Guild Master hyung, were you a magician?”
“No. This is one of the powers that many people will have in the future.”
“Come on, you can’t reveal magic secrets so easily, right? I know that’s an industry rule.”
“No, it’s not like that…”
As Haeil tried to continue his explanation, he noticed Jaeyoon shaking his head behind Jaeha and realized his prediction was right. Showing fire as proof was useless.
“Hmm, it would be difficult to show you more inside the house. Would it be okay if we moved somewhere else?”
“Are you going to show me more magic? Sure. But just a moment, please.”
Jaeha quickly went inside and opened the refrigerator. From the still full refrigerator, he took out a large sealed container and immediately offered it to Haeil.
“Would you like some braised pork? I made too much.”
“You’re giving me something you made yourself? Can I really accept such a precious gift?”
“It’s nothing special. Plus, you’ve helped me a lot in the guild.”
“Not at all. I also had a lot of fun thanks to you, Seo Jaeha-ssi. I don’t deserve such repayment.”
With Haeil’s extremely polite tone, Jaeha thought he was declining and checked his expression, but Haeil’s eyes were fixed on the container. Seeing Haeil’s true feelings that couldn’t be hidden despite his mature appearance, Jaeha tried not to smile as he handed it over.
“Please take it. My idiot brother brought a whole pig, so I’m trying to share it.”
“Then I’ll enjoy it. Thank you, Jaeha-ssi.”
“Ugh, just call me Jaeha. I’ll call you hyung too.”
“Yes, I’ll do that.”
The serious and awkward conversation finally ended, but facing Haeil in his neat attire holding a side dish container made the situation even more awkward because it didn’t match. While Jaeha hesitated whether to take it back, Haeil nodded to someone.
One of the workers fixing the house naturally approached and took the container. It was fascinating to see how Haeil was used to having people work for him. While Jaeha was staring at him, Jaeyoon led him outside.
“Hyung, let’s go somewhere while they get rid of the burnt smell in the house.”
“Where to?”
“Ah, that would be good. I think an open space would be better to show proper evidence.”
It was awkward to show Haeil’s flames more prominently inside the house. Since Jaeyoon was the one suggesting it, Jaeha had no reason to refuse and followed Haeil outside.
When they went outside, there were quite a few people passing by since it was evening.
Without needing to call for it, a black sedan was already waiting for them. Unlike Jaeyoon who naturally got in, Jaeha kept expressing amazement.
“Wow, Guild Master hyung is a golden spoon! The car looks amazing, and you even have a driver.”
Before Haeil could deny Jaeha’s fuss, Jaeyoon nodded. With Jaeyoon’s confirmation, Haeil would have normally been modest, but he wasn’t this time. Haeil decided it wasn’t good to deny information that Jaeyoon had assessed, so he smiled to show agreement. Seeing Haeil’s smile, Jaeha became more excited and didn’t hold back on compliments.
“I knew it when you were throwing money at the guild! You’re so cool, Guild Master hyung.”
“Then to become an even cooler guild master, I’ll gift you a healer-exclusive item.”
“Oh my… I might fall for Guild Master hyung at this rate.”
The atmosphere gradually lightened with Jaeha’s liveliness as he tried to brighten the still awkward mood. Haeil gently looked at Jaeha who kept calling him Guild Master. Jaeyoon, who had been looking sourly at Jaeha acting friendly, calmed down again when he made eye contact with Haeil.
It was a very different reaction from when he was so wary that he’d spread killing intent toward people around Jaeha. Such a reaction from Jaeyoon was a very important indicator for Haeil. Haeil was curious about how much trust his future self had given him.
“Guild Master hyung, you haven’t been logging in much lately, how about a full party game today… Oh, wait a moment.”
Jaeha, who was actively talking to Haeil, lowered his head at the sound of his phone. He had just noticed the messages coming from Youngwoo and Dojoon and focused on his phone. When Jaeha concentrated on his phone, the car became too quiet.
Jaeyoon glared at the phone in Jaeha’s hand as if he would smash it right away. Thanks to Jaeyoon’s patience, who was just watching despite openly showing his killing intent, Jaeha didn’t notice and steadily replied to them.
Watching this, Haeil could understand why Jaeyoon was so urgent about Jaeha’s matters.
Seo Jaeha showed consideration and friendliness when dealing with people. Jaeha, who could easily become friends with anyone, meant that those Jaeyoon was wary of could approach him easily. It seemed that targets of concern had already gotten close to Jaeha, which was why Jaeyoon was acting so sensitively.
Although brief, the Joo Dojoon and Lee Youngwoo that Haeil saw were ordinary college students. They matched exactly the image of nice young men he’d felt from the materials he had received. Jaeyoon was wary of these ordinary people but showed goodwill towards himself, who looked suspicious in a reinforced suit.
‘That was lucky.’
Meeting Jaeyoon was a huge gain for Haeil.
This meeting was made possible thanks to his early morning chat with Jaeha.
Information that only the dungeon management team and a few higher-ups in the company knew suddenly came out from Jaeha, who was just a guild member in a game.
