Judging from the alpha pheromones filling the room, Junghyun was not in his right mind. Seunghyeok suppressed the feeling of his blood boiling in rage. Perhaps this was for the better. It would be better if Junghyun didn’t know what was about to happen.
Seunghyeok took a breath and quickly assessed the positions of the people inside.
Two security guards.
They were operating with a surprisingly small number of people, excluding the four outside. Well, it made sense to move with minimal personnel since having too many people know about this kind of operation would be troublesome.
Seunghyeok opened the door silently and entered, rushing quickly toward Woo Cheolgon.
Those who had been violating Junghyun’s body scattered with screams at Seunghyeok’s sudden appearance.
Seunghyeok first dealt with one of the security guards who charged at him. He easily avoided the tonfa the guard swung, repeatedly stabbing his knife into the man’s abdomen. The guard collapsed, bleeding from multiple wounds in his stomach. Seunghyeok looked at him with cold eyes.
“W-What?! How did you get in here?! Where’s Han Jaebeom? Where are the others?!”
When Seunghyeok was just one step away from reaching Woo Cheolgon, another security guard attacked him.
Seunghyeok grabbed the guard’s hand as he swung a three-section staff, pinning it under his armpit while slashing the man’s arm twice with the knife he was holding. Then he turned his body, plunged the knife into the guard’s abdomen and twisted the handle. It scraped against ribs, but when he forcefully twisted it, the bones shattered with a cracking sound.
Unable to even scream properly, the guard collapsed to the floor. Seunghyeok pulled the knife from his body and pointed it directly at Woo Cheolgon.
Woo Cheolgon began to sweat as he stared at the blood-covered knife.
“Y-You, you must be that Ji fellow.”
It’s not easy to guess who Seunghyeok was in such a situation. Woo Cheolgon was certainly quick-witted.
When Seunghyeok didn’t respond, Woo Cheolgon’s eyes darted around like those of a snake as he opened his mouth as if he had guessed something.
“D-Did you come for that item? Then take it. I won’t make any issues about it. Yes, consider it a gift of friendship. What do you say…?”
It was impressive how glibly he spoke with sweat beading on his forehead and philtrum. But then again, that’s probably how he managed to serve five terms.
“A gift?”
At Seunghyeok’s question, Woo Cheolgon seized the opportunity.
“Y-Yes. A gift. We’ll likely see each other’s faces often in the future, so shouldn’t we establish a good relationship? Of course, there are one or two minor issues you’ve caused, but I’ll cover those somehow. We should take a long-term view, shouldn’t we? Hmm? What do you say?”
Seunghyeok stared silently at Woo Cheolgon.
The corners of his eyes twitched as he attempted to deceive him. Somehow interpreting Seunghyeok’s silence, Woo Cheolgon laughed loudly and raised his hand to pat Seunghyeok’s shoulder.
“Yes, this is great, we understand each other well- AARGH!”
The knife Seunghyeok was holding pierced through Woo Cheolgon’s hand and into the sofa. Seunghyeok firmly gripped Woo Cheolgon’s hair to immobilize him as he screamed loudly, and spoke in a low voice.
“It’s only a gift if you give something that isn’t already mine. Someone who takes what already has an owner is called a thief.”
“Y-You bastard, do you know who you’re dealing with? You, you crude bastard. Ack, AACK!!”
Seunghyeok pulled the knife out of Woo Cheolgon’s hand, slightly twisted the blade, and stabbed the same spot again. A squeal like that of a pig escaped Woo Cheolgon’s mouth. Ignoring him, Seunghyeok turned off the device that was emitting the repulsive alpha pheromones. Then he approached where Junghyun was lying.
Junghyun, who had been curled up into a ball, trembled even more violently, gasping for breath when he sensed someone approaching.
“Huu, don’t, don’t do it, don’t come near me, …ah, please someone… *sob*.”
Junghyun, unable to recognize Seunghyeok, trembled and begged. Seunghyeok frowned and took off his own clothes to cover him. Even at that touch, Junghyun recoiled with a frightened gasp before grabbing and pulling Seunghyeok’s hand. Breathing heavily, he reached out toward Seunghyeok.
“*Sob*… huu, ah, please, aah. Ah, please do something, auh…”
Junghyun seemed unaware of what he was saying.
As he squirmed his waist, Seunghyeok embraced him and whispered.
“Junghyun.”
Junghyun’s movements stopped abruptly.
“…H-Hyung…? Seunghyeok hyung?”
“…”
Junghyun, now recognizing Seunghyeok, raised his head that had been lowered.
Now Seunghyeok could properly see Junghyun’s face. His hand, about to caress Junghyun’s face, hesitated.
The lovely face wearing an expression of disbelief was soaked with tears. What caught Seunghyeok’s attention was the swollen, reddish-black cheek.
Under Seunghyeok’s gaze, Junghyun pulled back slightly before strongly clinging to him.
“Hyung. Hyung…”
“Yes, that’s right. It’s me. You’re safe now.”
Junghyun grabbed Seunghyeok’s hand and pressed it against his center. Seunghyeok gritted his teeth as Junghyun moved his waist with groans, yet burst into tears again as if pained by his own behavior.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Haa, but, ah, ahh…”
Junghyun trembled and climaxed. Seunghyeok embraced him even more tightly. Every time he heard Junghyun repeating apologies through pale, gasping lips, an indescribable emotion surged within him.
The trembling body was pitiful and heart-wrenching.
And uncontrollable dark rage began to fill his mind.
Meanwhile, Woo Cheolgon’s squawking continued without pause.
“You, you bastard! Do you think you’ll get away with doing this to me?! I’ll have your business and your father all bundled up and thrown away together!”
Just as Seunghyeok turned back toward Woo Cheolgon, there was a commotion outside, and people entered the house. Jeong Taejun was the first to appear.
“You’ve made quite a scene again, I see.”
Seunghyeok didn’t respond.
Due to the alpha pheromones still lingering inside without ventilation, Jeong Taejun frowned and muttered a low curse.
“Is Junghyun okay?”
“I’ll take him with me right away, so the cleanup…”
Junghyun’s body, cradled in Seunghyeok’s arms, began to convulse violently. His eyes rolled back, and after making choking sounds, he vomited and then went limp, his limbs dangling.
“Junghyun? Junghyun!”
Seunghyeok called his name while shaking his body, but Junghyun didn’t respond. His naked white body just swayed lifelessly. The alarmed Seunghyeok laid Junghyun down on the floor, and Jeong Taejun rushed over in one stride to examine his condition. Taejun clicked his tongue softly.
“Release your pheromones. Quickly.”
“What?”
“The stronger and more abundant, the better. If he stays like this, he’ll go into pheromone shock. That’ll make things even worse, so hurry.”
Seunghyeok didn’t ask any more questions and released his pheromones toward Junghyun after Taejun turned Junghyun’s head to the side to prevent the vomit from entering his airway.
Pheromones, aside from during intercourse, cannot be directed at a specific person only. Releasing a large amount of pheromones into the air all at once would have felt disgusting to an omega like Jeong Taejun, yet he bit his lip and didn’t leave Junghyun’s side.
Color slowly returned to Junghyun’s face, which had appeared almost blue. His convulsive breathing also became regular.
The cause of Junghyun’s seizure was right in front of them, requiring no further investigation. Seunghyeok’s fists clenched involuntarily.
“Seunghyeok, I understand you’ve gone mad, but send Junghyun to the hospital first before you do whatever. It’s dangerous to leave him like this since he nearly went into pheromone shock.”
Jeong Taejun’s cool voice stopped Seunghyeok. Why Taejun, who wasn’t even a doctor, knew about this was something Seunghyeok could guess without asking.
Seunghyeok picked up Junghyun again. His body, sweating cold and limp, was indescribably pitiful.
“Everyone. Don’t leave a single one. Keep them in the box.”
“Okay.”
After giving instructions to Jeong Taejun, Seunghyeok got into the car without looking back.

It felt like hot water was constantly overflowing inside his body. It also felt like his body had been submerged in boiling water. It was hot, scorching, and painful. Something swirled inside his body, feeling as if it were sweeping through his internal organs.
Unable to bear the agony, Junghyun opened his eyes.
“…Urgh, uwek.”
Junghyun rose with a retch, struggling to vomit though nothing came out. Opening his mouth hurt, like his cheek was being pulled. It was somewhat amusing that even in this situation, he thought he should go to the bathroom to throw up rather than soil the blanket that came into view. Junghyun tried to turn his head in another direction, but his body wouldn’t move as he wanted.
“Junghyun. Vomit here. It’s okay.”
Two large hands came forward, cupped under his mouth.
In this excruciating situation where tears were streaming down his face, Junghyun moved his gaze to look at the person. It was Seunghyeok.
That was hard to read, poor Jonghyun ☹️
