“This is really precious to me.”

He knew. Suhwan knew better than anyone how precious this bracelet was to Seunghyun.
This bracelet originally belonged to Seunghyun’s mother. However, when HS went bankrupt and the family couldn’t live together and scattered, Seunghyun’s mother gave her bracelet to her youngest son. Since then, Seunghyun had never once removed the bracelet from his wrist.
In the original story, the one who received this bracelet from Seunghyun was not Suhwan but Geonyul. Naturally, this was an item that the main character should have received, since it was something the main love interest cherished immensely.
But now it was fastened around his own wrist. Suhwan was so happy he could almost cry.
“Thank you. I’ll cherish it.”
“Think of it as me, and don’t remove it from your wrist.”
“I understand.”
Nodding, Suhwan gently caressed the smooth surface of the bracelet. The silver bracelet, showing signs of age, had many small scratches in various places when examined closely.
“I’m just kidding. I’ll give you something better later.”
Thinking that because it was old and not particularly valuable, it might not appeal to Suhwan, Seunghyun nervously said. But upon hearing this, Suhwan was surprised and shook his head.
“What? No. You don’t have to.”
“But it’s used.”
“I said it’s fine.”
As if Seunghyun might take it back, Suhwan firmly gripped the bracelet with his right hand. Seeing him shake his head like a child, Seunghyun burst into laughter.
“Alright. I won’t take it back.”
“Really?”
“Do you like it that much?”
“Yes.”
Having lived in a wealthy family from birth until now, Suhwan must have worn all sorts of expensive and precious things, so it felt strange to see him so happy to receive an old bracelet. Especially since that old bracelet was as precious to Seunghyun as it was.
Feeling something welling up inside him, Seunghyun felt a tightness in one corner of his chest. Bowing his head, he kissed his lovely partner, who was delighted like a child, once more.
